  1. Yes, clean is the key word there. Looks well fed, healthy, clean cloths, clean cut. They must have been following them, left the water, knew Rick's name and knew he was the leader. Is he part of the Wolves? How can Rick and crew trust anyone after the Governor and Terminus?

The answer is he cant......trust in that type of world would have to be earned.

  2. The McGahee injury was horrific. I read once that just 20 years earlier they would have considered amputation due to nerve and vascular damage. ACL surgery (and the related rehab) has come a million miles since those days. My son tore his ACL and MCL 5 years ago and played PG in a high school basketball tournament 5 months after surgery. Far from 100%, but out there mixing it up. Imagine what a world class athlete with top of the line resources and no higher priority can do.

Your a brave soul....because hardwood is extremely hard on those ligments after that kind of injury.

I would never have allowed my son to do that.

Always injured? Where do you get off with this? He was a workhorse at USA until his one and only (knee) injury

He'll be back with a vengeance......

Far from it John....unfortunately you are wrong on this.

For the players sake I hope that I am wrong.......

I wonder if the fact that

    a. RB's are going later in the draft

    b. There are several good options this year at RB

That might cause him to slip?

  3. Bringing in CJ2k, Mike Vick and Percy Harvin feels more of an Idzik idea of 'win now'.

Rex's 2014 was summed up in-- here is a washed up 2k runner, former first round QB and a basket case WR. Now Go win the division with Geno Smith. Yuck!

Its a little off topic....but would just like to point out that if none of this happens....Rex Ryan isnt available to us and we dont have him

I am glad we do.....so to me it was fate.

  4. relax a bit, ok...

I think Rex was a great hire. This just adds to it, but kinda useless info because it was so obvious.

yeah, if CJ 2k had said, "Rex sucks as a coach, have fun, suckers" then this would be more relevant. But since he only confirmed what our front office already claimed, and was obvious, I was trying to figure out if there was even deeper meaning to this. Like Johnson wanting to suck up to Rex, or it would be a useless statement from the Bill's perspective.

This makes more sense than what the others ^^^ were saying. Thanks for the analysis.

I honestly dont understand the meaning of your input to this thread.....

Its like your agreeing with it......but its not worth talking about.

  5. Here is something I would like opinions on.......

How would you compare the talent level of Alex Smith to Matt Moore.......

Now....there has to be some difference one is a starter and the other one is not

Just food for thought though....Greg Roman seemed to fix what was wrong with Alex Smith and he has gone on to be a competant starter

  6. Apparently not as the poster stated we should just draft a guy in the 3-4 rd. and cross our fingers as the plan at QB.

This line of think just doesnt make any sense to me.......

People were complaining so hard that we took a QB in a weak draft......and then there are people who want to take a QB in the 3/4 round of a weak QB draft and expect a DIFFERENT result

To me that is a waste of a pick.....you can get a good player in those rounds at other positions that could actually HELP us

There are no great options for QB this year

  7. The same questions you raise about EJ are the same ones you can say about Jackson.

Jackson has had a decent season of starting and that was with a bum throwing shoulder.......that same team took him back to be their backup QB.....the seahawks.

EJ has yet to finish a season with the bills

Like most I root for EJ to have the light turn on and be the guy.....but we are going to need another QB not named tuel to be here in case that does not happen.

Personally? I like Matt Moore for this. What I would like to have is someone who can play at Kyle Orton's level (the one who cares not the one who started mailing it in) but has enough escapability that he can run away from danger a little bit.

I dont set my sites on franchise type qbs because they are not there....but we need SOMEBODY who can QB this team that is not EJ Manuel on the roster. Then yes you biiuld the team up around them at the OL, TE, and RB positions

What a future at 35. Not the answer. EJ either makes it or not. Than next year we draft another hopeful in the first round. We have to plan for the future and not a bandage for this year.

Maybe that is exactly what we need....a band aid for this year.

We CAN NOT waste he talent of this defense while we figure out the QB situation

  8. Oh my. You realize we have EJ who is that type of QB.

Frankly we dont know what we have in EJ yet........

Right now EJ is broken.....when he runs he takes big hits.....he is not good when he stands in the pocket and is afraid to run.

    T. Jackson appears to be better at these things to me....he is not a franchise guy....but he might be good enough to caretake the team in a year where there are no good options.

Anyway....the T. Jackson train has left.......I am talking about veteran QBs of that same "level" of talent.

We dont know what talent level EJ has yet

  9. That scenerio never happened, we would never know so who cares.

    It absolutely does matter now

Traveris was a Veteran QB who never got an opportunity to care take this team.......

it is a new OC who might see it differently with a veteran QB

The fact is T. Jackson never got a real opportunty to show what he could do for us.......we released him and he was scooped up by Seattle to be their backup

  10. Yup serious, money would be better off going to a Probowl OG than a journeyman QB.

You do realize that the only thing we have at QB at the moment is EJ and Tuel

Let that sink in for a minute and think about what your saying

From the standpoint that McCown would be a waste of a roster spot. Absolutely. The Bills won't get him "cheap" either (less than 2.5 guaranteed/year) so it is a HELL NO.

I didnt take it that way....it sounded like he would just rather roll with EJ and Tuel
