Edwards is a lightweight.
Tux of Borg replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I got home late from school and didn't watch the debate. I figured Cheney would come out as the clear winner. Maybe Bush will get his stevestojan together and put up a decent fight against Kerry in the last debate. -
That's pretty !@#$ing low... a father takes his kid to a Bills game and that stevestojan happens. The question that I want to know... did they catch the bastards that did this? I'm assuming those jackasses were dumb enough to use the tickets to get in and sit and those seats. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

Get these little league teams off the field. Time for the fall classic between the Yanks and Socks.

I know an honest to god swiftboat vet
Tux of Borg replied to /dev/null's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I agree... when the country called on him to serve, he was there. I personally don't care for the man's politics but will praise him for that. Did Kerry deserve the medals he received? Who knows, but is it really our place to question it. I find it curious why the swift boat veterans have an ax to grind with Kerry. Usually guys you serve with on a deployment become closer then family. As in most cases... the truth lye's somewhere in between. -
Just ignore them... they are nothing but bandwagon fans. There is no comparing Bills fans with Patriots fans. Remember all those losing years in New England. Those seats were empty.... now compare that to the Ralph. We're winless and are still selling out the stadium.

Why chain McGahee to the bench????
Tux of Borg replied to Peter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was watching McGahee that play to see what he was going to do. I was pleasantly surprised to see him flip that other player. That is something he didn't do when playing at the 'U'. Then I got home and watched it on TV. I wish somebody would make a gif movie of it. -
Buffalo Bills Player Info Wow... you learn something new every day.

Golisano steps down as Paychex CEO
Tux of Borg replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The man is a Saint as far as I'm concerned. He bought the Sabres, lowered ticket prices and tried to make it a better fan experience. If the Bills ever go on the market I hope he is interested. -
A Subject Touched On And Not Explored Last Night
Tux of Borg replied to UConn James's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There are a lot of different issues here. Our current administration does a piss poor job of working with other countries. I support military action in Iraq, but agree that we went about it the wrong way. I feel that the UN dropped the ball on DPRK and Iraq. Both countries like to play games and don't follow the rules of the international community. I don't feel that having cameras in your nuclear facilities, or to have weapons inspectors in your country is too much to ask. However, if we're not willing to send in the bombers, then our rules are worthless. Today there is a handful of countries with nuclear capabilities. How many will there be in 20 years? Who's our friend today is our enemy tomorrow. Is star wars a waste of money? Perhaps, but developing Anti-Ballistic Missile technology makes since in the long term. Talking about government waste can go on for ever. I think that homeland security is coming along as fast as it can. It's not perfect but its not an easy task. Our military is well equipped despite what Mr. Kerry wants you to believe. So as far as the war in terror, not sure where else you would like to spend the money. I think homeland security and the war on terror, is one of the few areas President Bush has done well in. -
Okay who was the Free Safety yesterday?
Tux of Borg replied to VABills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wire bit on the play action all day long. He'd get sucked up to stop the run and the WR would run right by him. After the 3rd time I though MM might say something to him. Our D-Line was stuffing the run. With the amount of blitzes we did, Wire should have known better then to get sucked up. -
My section was full of patriot fans... some were !@#$s but others just came to root on their team. On a positive note, there was a lady and her little boy selling something outside of RWS. A group of patriot fans came up and gave them 2 tickets for free.

Why chain McGahee to the bench????
Tux of Borg replied to Peter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everytime McGahee came in the game it was for pass protection. It was no secret and everybody in the stadium knew it. I'd like to see McGahee and Henry in the backfield at the same time. A play action to Henry and a quick pass to McGahee coming out of the backfield. I don't think Willis has gotten the burst back he had at Miami. I didn't see it in the preseason. A lot of people think it might take him 2 years to fully recover from the ACL. -
if Parcells was our coach
Tux of Borg replied to Robert Paulson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No... and this is the reason why. There is no way a Parcels team would make that many stupid penalties. Also the coaching would focus on Drew's strengths and not weaknesses. A naked bootleg on a critical 4th down, you have to be kidding me. -
4th and 3 with the game on the line.... what do the Bills do? Don't give it to the back that has been averaging 4.1 yards a carry. Let the the slowest QB in the league run a bootleg. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: piss poor play calling

Each loss wouldn't sting as much if
Tux of Borg replied to UCLA Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jason Campbell... I don't know if he is going to be great or not. I know he's not a fan favorite at Auburn. But he did look really good against Tenn. Is anybody going to the Florida St. vs Syracuse game this weekend? Or am I going to be the only moron there. I'm bumed I won't see Chris Rix play, but am excited about seeing Sexton play. -

Kyle Orton is a senior QB at Purdue. He's the 3rd rank QB in the country and is expected to be a Heisman finalist. The guy can thread a needle between two defenders. He has a cannon for an arm and can hit a receiver deep going full stride. I look forward to watching more of his games this year. -
So it appears that kerry cheated
Tux of Borg replied to Rich in Ohio's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The debates are so scripted its really hard to watch. 293 million people in the united states and this is the best we can do? No wonder why so many young adults don't bother to vote. Personally I'd love to see a Colin Powell or another military type run for office. -

Tux of Borg replied to UCLA Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A week ago I would have said the 05 draft was without a dominate QB. After watching Kyle Orton play, I have to retract my statement. I have no doubt this kid is going to be a star in the NFL. I would not be surprised if thats who Dallas drafts with our pick. -
McGahee has played in preseason games as well as some regular season games. For those who watched him play for the 'U', he is not the same back. I hate to say that because I want to see him succeed. But he might be the biggest bust since Erik Flowers. MM promised us some two back sets with Travis and Willis. I'd like to start to see that myself.

It was a coaching error.... You do NOT run a Bledsoe bootleg when its 4th and 3 with the game on the line.
-
I saw a guy burn his Bledsoe jersey after the game.
-
He didn't move at all after that hit. I thought he might have been knocked out. I hope this doesn't keep him out of next week's game.
-
Bill Belichick thinks highly of McGee. He might not be ready for a starting job, but he has the talent. Coaching... we're going to see a lot of rookie coaching mistakes. It's way too early to tell if MM is a bust or not. For what's its worth, I thought this is the best the offensive line has looked all year. Some of those running plays, the holes were so wide that you could have driven a truck through there. It's too early to judge McGahee, Evans and Losman. Today Evans shows he has the speed and can burn people. If McGahee comes back to form and Losman is as advertised.... the future looks bright.
