I bet my computer lab partner has. After all she does search for sex toys during class. -
A kid that wants to go to war
Tux of Borg replied to aussiew's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Everybody joins for a different reason, rather it be for college money, career opportunities, or whatever. For me I needed some direction in life and didn't want to end up working at the local factory. Why go to college when you don't know what you want to do. The recruiter does glamorize it, and most 18 year old boys didn't know any better. I was taken in by getting out of a small town and jumping out of planes for a living. I'd get an opportunity to go to ranger school and a shot at flight school for my 2nd enlistment. Once you get to your duty station you quickly grow out of it. -
Dear Mr. Mularkey, can you please
Tux of Borg replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does it matter who starts? If the O-Lines doesn't open up a hole for Henry, he's going to be benched for a back that can run east to west. -
And with the #33 overall pick,
Tux of Borg replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We were talking about this last week on the College Board. UConnJames suggested we take Ohio State kicker Mike Nugent in the 2nd round. This guy is money and nailed a 68 yard field goal in training camp. Ohio State plays in an outdoor stadium, so we know he can kick in the elements. We were debating if he would fall to the 3rd round or not. But this guy can be a solid and productive Buffalo Bill for a very long time. -
A kid that wants to go to war

My parents said nothing but were happy to get me out of the house. -
I heard some talk about bringing in Losman in the redzone. It opens up the play book for bootlegs and QB draws down there. Does anybody know how mobile Matthews is? I'd use a two back set with Shelton and McGahee. The O-line isn't opening up a hole and Henry hasn't run over anybody all year. Why not let McGahee stiff arm someone and break it outside. I like shelton because 1) he runs over people and 2) he's a good hot receiver if there is an all out blitz. Lastly, get rid of those WR for some big TE.

Can the fans run Bledsoe out of Town?
Tux of Borg replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Save the postage... TD and MM are starting drew. Maybe there is some upstairs pressure to keep him in, who knows? If I was the General Manager or Head Coach and my job was on the line, I'd play the best player at the position. Shane Matthews is a journeyman for a reason. Is he better then Drew... your guess is as good as mine. I doubt he would throw to Evans with triple coverage. -

I can't believe that friggin' anti-American Eminem
Tux of Borg replied to Wham Rocks's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Eminem has made fun of Clinton in the past. I'm sure if Kerry is elected he would be going after him. Don't take it personal, its how the guy makes his money. Just like the members of SNL, he makes fun of who's popular. Lucky for the GOP, 11 year olds, (the ones who listen to this) aren't old enough to vote. -
Q. What 19 year old college girl doesn't drink? A. The type you don't want to date! If she is really bothered by you having a beer, dump her.

Considering Syria and Egypt handle our special interrogations, I doubt we will invade them any time soon.

Dear Lime Green Couch, With Mardi Gras being a short 169 days away. Is there any chance I can forget about this miserable season, if only for a few short days? DetoxSmurf

For those who remember the unavailing of the new Jerseys. Jim Kelly was up on the stage and said, now let me introduce you to the man who is going to bring glory back to Buffalo, #11 Drew Bledsoe!

(OT) So, how was your week sports fans?
Tux of Borg replied to kasper13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty much the same... Notre Dame lost. Bills lost. NC State (which is my adopted home team) lost to Miami No hockey Still no news on baby joe Yankees choke Dolphins and Patriots both won. I didn't stand a chance in the school football pool. I'm waiting to see the results of my fantasy football team. and Bledsoe is doing PR statements reminding us he is still the QB of our team. -
Unarmed Iraqi Soldiers Ambushed, Executed
Tux of Borg replied to blzrul's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I own an AR-15, AK-47 and a Russian SKS. What makes them legal or illegal is the trigger mechanism. I could make them fully automatic but why? I shoot them once, maybe twice a year. Banning weapons won't keep guns out of the hands of criminals, but out of law abiding citizens like myself. -
I wonder if kerry will say that he is sorry

Looking Back, If We Are Giving Dallas A Top 5 Pick
Tux of Borg replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We've already had this discussion over on the college football board. Yeah, it would be nice to have a top 5 pick. Kyle Orton looks like a solid college QB but will come at a hefty cap price. The bills saw Losman work out right after Eli Manning, and they were more impressed with JP then Eli. Who knows how it will turn out. JP loves to be here and is not breaking the bank. Give the guy a chance and see what happens. BTW i still need webmaster help for JPLosman.org JPLosman.info and EliManningSucks.net PM me if interested. -
I was going to say the number of turn overs this season, but it seemed to low.

This place a lot safer than the wall.
Tux of Borg replied to _BiB_'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They are going to be calling for blood on the Howard Simon show today. It's just going to get worse with every loss this season. -
I don't know about Notre Dame. Some days they play brilliant and others they play like stevestojan. They have the talent to beat a team like Miami. Both teams have a great defense. Brady Quinn is not the best QB in college football, but neither is Brock Berlin. The ND backfield of Grant/Walker is comparable to Gore/Moss. I think the big different is coaching and play calling. When Miami is down at half-time, they come out all fired up and ready to go. Notre Dame has yet to make a half-time adjustments to win.

OT- Online Advertising. What do you see
Tux of Borg replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For me, I notice the advertisers in google the most. If you do a search for "buy cars" for example, you'll see the Sponsored Links section on the right. Not really a specific company or product but its always there. I see companies that use paypopup.com a lot. Paypopup pays webmasters to put popup ads on their page. The advertisements very as they have a lot have customers. -
There's college football outside the ACC?
