I worked for an ISP over the summer and there is flaws in the whole P2P lawsuits. Basically the RIAA gave us a list of IP's that have been listed as copyright violators. We'd then shut them off and had the violator talk to our abuse department. A lot of the time its someone running a wireless router with no WEP authentication. The neighbor's kids next door are downloading music off of that. Another thing I saw often was people staticing in an IP address. In a dynamic IP environment our logs shows we assigned an IP to person A. However person B can static in that IP and is download all day long. We could track it down to a node, but that's about it. When i left they were working on technology to improve this.

I don't understand why whois information has to be made public. I own quite a few domains and it brings me nothing but spam. As for copyright laws, its a complete joke. Just shows you that money dictates laws in the country instead of the moral calculus.

After all, its against the rules of war to fire on an airborne trooper while they are parachuting in. The same rules that say in an ambush, you can't "double tap" a person after you cross that road. Its hard for me to find fault in a solider while in a combat zone, fighting an enemy wearing civilian clothes. With the added stress of having to worry about civilians walking up to them and blowing themselves up. Yeah the guy !@#$ed up... I doubt if it was premeditated. War isn't pretty, get over it.

I use to work at the webhosting company that hosted Pauly Shores website. I talked to Pauly on two occasions. The first time he was a complete dick to me and acted like he was big stevestojan. The second time I talked to him he was really cool. He had a section on his website that showed all the girls he slept with. I was talking to him about it while I fixed a pop lock with his mail. I think he took that page with all the girls he slept with down. But it might be hidden somewhere up at paulyshore.com

Does Bledsoe have a superbowl ring? Has Bledsoe been voted to the pro-bowl? He's going into the hall of fame, maybe not the first year but he'll get in. Look at Emmett Smith and Jerry Rice... I doubt if they will be judged by what they did at the end of their careers. All three stayed past their prime but will be remembered for what they did in their prime.

Every year there is a fluke team that flirts with or goes undefeated. Last year is was Texas Christian. Not to say they were a bad team, but no way would they have beaten a Miami or USC last year. As pointed out in the above post, the BCS is not going away any time soon. It's all about the money and not about college sports.
