  1. Will Taylor be the starting QB next week? Rex: "We'll see"
  2. Honest question at this point... if the team from the second half of the Oakland game, and the entirety of this abysmal performance shows up, I think Cleveland might actually win. I didn't think it would happen a few weeks ago, but Rex has lost the team and I don't see Taylor improving.
  3. At this point, I would honestly clean house. Whaley might not be completely at fault, but you have to cut ties completely with the previous administration and purge this franchise of this attitude that it's acceptable to miss the playoffs year after year. I would also boot Russ. Not likely to happen, but I can dream, right?
  4. The team hasn't played a postseason game (i.e. a meaningful game in January) at home since 1996 and has a bunch of players from the ACC and SEC... snow hurts this team more than anything.
  5. I always laugh when teams insist on playing sound effects over the PA when the team is playing like crap. Nothing like hearing that bell for a first down when you're down 56-10 late in the fourth quarter against the Patriots on Sunday Night Football almost ten years ago.
  6. Pegula is a Western Pennsylvanian... if you think he isn't taking this loss hard, think again.
  7. I'm all for firing Rex tonight, but you're going to have to fire Rob, and Thurman is Rex's lackey. So, who runs the defense for three weeks? Ed Reed is another Rex guy... is there anyone on staff that could do it for three weeks?
  8. If they lose today... I don't see why you wouldn't start Cardale Jones. Cleveland is the weakest team in the league, if he's going to play any team that gives him the best chances of success, it's that one.
  9. I work at Microsoft, specifically as a software engineer on Access. If you ever have issues with Office, feel free to give me a shout. I'm not familiar with BitLocker unfortunately.
  10. By that point, we will have been eliminated from playoff contention. That's when the Bills win to lower their draft position, silly.
  11. I do wonder... what would the trade market be like for TT? What do you think other teams would offer for him?
  12. Watkins can't stay healthy. You can certainly make the case that Taylor's lack of accuracy forces his players into situations where they expose their bodies to injury... but yeah, if the guy isn't consistently playing, he isn't good enough.
  13. Taylor has decent leadership skills and can run with the football, but he can't identify open receivers and his accuracy is garbage. His major improvement over Fitz is that he won't lose you the game with costly turnovers... but he isn't going to win you the game with his arm. I don't think the jury is still out on him - he is an average quarterback that won't lead a team to the playoffs on his own. He needs a dominant defense or a multitude of skill players on offense to get the team to the playoffs - McCoy alone won't cut it and Watkins isn't good enough. I think they should bring him back next year, but I also think they should draft someone and bring in a FA to compete for the job.
  14. You have to be successful on both challenges to be awarded a third challenge.
  15. Past Bills teams would have lost a game like this - one that's in late November, against an inferior opponent, and at home. It was great to see them win this type of game for a change. Oakland will be an interesting test for them - it is the hardest game left on their schedule. If they find a way to win next Sunday, I think they have a decent chance to snag that sixth wild card slot.
  16. Vegas could support an NFL franchise but I question the ability of the team to attract local fans. It'll be another strip attraction like Celine Dion, Blue Man Group, etc. You will get people in Vegas for the weekend but how many local fans are you going to attract? It's a transient town that sees a lot of people moving in and out. Until a domed stadium is built, I really question their ability to attract people for preseason and early regular season games... having visited in August when the temperature was 110, you'd have to pay me large sums of money to sit out in the stands in the sun to watch a game. The preseason games could be played at night, but unless they plan on playing the first few weeks of the regular season in primetime when it begins to cool off, I think it's going to be a really hard sell.
  17. The most powerful position in the Bills front office... you get to dictate the annual marketing gimmick to the GM to get the fans excited!
  18. You don't live in Seattle. After having put up with this crap during Pete Carroll's tenure, I frankly hate the Seahawks more than I do the Patriots*. It all started with the fake punt in Toronto for me.
  19. Simple, the tickets aren't expensive enough. I've lived in the PNW for the last 10 years or so. I'm going to the MNF game next week at CenturyLink. I paid over $350 for each seat, they are lower deck seats around the 25 yard line, about 20 rows up from the field. The cheapest seats (standing room only) are going for $200 a pop. The Bills aren't exactly a hot ticket here, either. MNF draws a few people, but otherwise, it's an obscure opponent that hasn't been in town for 12 years. In Buffalo, for a similar caliber game (vs Steelers), those 25 yd line seats are going for about $150 less, at $200 each. The cheapest seats are under $100. If you raise the price, it will weed out the riff raff that permeate the stadium. The problem the Pegulas face is that they will price out legitimate fans in the process.
