  1. This game is a lot closer than the score indicates.... especially if we score on this drive.
  2. The defense is a problem. Has been all season.
  3. A lot of these are extras that were reserved for the league, team staff, and/or the opposing team. If you are ever looking for tickets to a popular game... check out the box office the Wednesday before. Typically there is a large dump of tickets once they know how many of these comps they need.
  4. This is the thing that nobody in the media talks about. Lamar's recent performance is directly tied to the Henry acquisition. Allen on the other hand performs in spite of having a questionable receiver room and while Cook is very good... he is no Henry. This is the very definition of MVP.
  5. "Mike McDaniels" and "Cris Collingsworth" are probably the most widespread misspellings of NFL fans on the internet.
  6. This is a very good draw. He called the Super Bowl last year. Vinovich's crew also calls the fourth least number of penalties of any crew: https://www.nflpenalties.com/all-referees.php?view=total&year=2024 The umpire and deep officials (FJ, SJ, BJ) are from different crews. Umpire is from Eck's crew. That crew called 52 offensive holding penalties this year - 6th most of all crews. Vinovich's crew called 29 - the least number of offensive holding penalties. The deep wings are from the Clark, Wrolstad, and Hochuli crews. For Defensive Pass Interference, Wrolstad called 25, Clark called 21, and Hochuli called 16. All of these were fairly middle of the pack, good for 8th, 10th, and 12th place amongst all crews. For defensive holding, Wrolstad's crew called 17, Hochuli called 15, and Clark called only 8 - the least in the league.
  7. The issue with this is that CBS has a deal with the NFL and Nickelodeon that makes it very likely CBS will get the late afternoon slot. CBS cannot have two back-to-back games so FOX is almost certainly getting the 1pm Sunday slot. I think it's gonna be: Chargers/Texans Sat 4:30p CBS Broncos/Bills Sat 8:00p Prime Commanders/Bucs Sun 1pm FOX Packers/Eagles Sun 4:30p CBS Steelers/Ravens Sun 8:20p NBC Vikings or Lions/Rams Mon 8:20p ESPN
  8. I agree with McDaniel. If the current result holds, I think he's done.
  9. This is what's going through my mind right now. On the one hand, Pittsburgh will beat the living crap out of them physically even if they have a slim chance of winning. The Chargers have a history of choking but I do think Jim Harbaugh might have the better chance of beating them. If that happens, we'd play either the Texans or Steelers in Orchard Park... with the Chargers headed to Arrowhead. I really like that scenario.
  10. Wow the Jets are already on the golf course...
  11. Is it just me or are the officials giving NE very generous spots while we get shortchanged?
  12. The Titans should not be able to wear the old Oilers uniforms... especially against Houston. What a lousy franchise.
  13. The guy is tough as nails if nothing else. Trubisky has never impressed me in the preseason and in mop-up duty. I'd be curious to see how White does if he plays on Sunday.
  14. My guesses based on current seeding... Pittsburgh/Houston Saturday 4:30p CBS (Eagle/Davis) LA Chargers/Baltimore Saturday 8:00p Prime (Michaels/Herbstreit) Denver/Buffalo Sunday 1:00p (Nantz/Romo) Packers/Eagles Sunday 4:30p FOX (Burkhardt/Brady) Rams/Commanders Sunday 8:15p NBC (Tirico/Collinsworth) Vikings/Bucs Monday 8:15p ESPN (Buck/Aikman)
  15. We have proven ourselves again and again against Miami. Josh feasts on them. Give me the Dolphins.
  16. Allen doesn't have Henry, either. Ravens D is also a significant upgrade over this unit.
  17. The number of penalties in this game is next level, my lord.
  18. lol, McD unhappy with the offense? Okay dude.
  19. "Kicking off with 13 seconds doesn't matter" okay...
  20. The tragic thing here is that you know nothing is going to change on defense. "Oh, we stopped them on the first drive" will be McDermott's refrain despite giving up huge chunks of yardage on running plays against one of the worst run offenses in the league. If we play Baltimore, I'm calling it right now - 70 yard touchdown run from Henry. We've given that to him twice now, why not three?
  21. This is exactly correct. This defense is built to beat a Pacheco-less Chiefs team, but otherwise they will be run over and killed by any team with a competent RB.
  22. Hate to break it to you guys, but we aren't going anywhere with this defense. Allen will literally have to pitch a perfect game, as he did against NE* a few years ago, for us to have a chance.
  23. This defense... I have zero confidence in it.
