  1. no doubt. it'd be the biggest blow to this franchise in years, and we've had our fair share.
  2. stevie's a fan favorite and a great player. if we lose him, for seemingly no reason, i think it'll be the straw that broke the camel's back for a lottt of people.
  3. @NewEra - I don't know why folks like you and I get labeled as the "delusional" ones - because I don't see any legitimate proof or logic that can possible refute what you just said. On the money. Facts: 1. The Jets, Cowboys, Dolphins - having seen our tendencies, starting bumping our WRs off the line, rendering Fitz useless. 2. The injures didn't hit hardest until the ship was already sunk. I keep reading that our top targets became our top targets only due to injuries. GTFO with that crap. You're trying to tell me Donald Jones is worth a damn? That guy sucks out loud. Stevie, Nelson, and Chandler are our best receivers so they got the targets - period. 3. Fitz got away with murder at the beginning of the season. If some of you actually do DVR and re-watch games like I do, Fitz had so many bad plays fortuitously bounce in our favor it was ridiculous. On most days, the Raiders could have taped clubs to their hands and come away with 4 INTs off Fitz. The New England endzone INT pass interference call was something sent from the gods, and saved that game for us as well. When I re-watched both those games, I remember saying, "wow, Fitz really delivered on that last drive, but wow, was he lucky as crap that it even got there." And as time would show us, when we stopped getting the breaks and things balanced out, we couldn't get out of our own way. The beginning of the season was the epitome of a mirage, especially for the defensive INTs and Fitzpatrick in general. But yea, nothing like Ralph and the organization blowing their wad prematurely on Fitz just like they did 3 years ago with Jauron's 5-1 start. !@#$ing jokers never learn a goddamn thing.
  4. lololol bobobonators - let me get this straight.. you don't think fitz is average, you apparently think he's really awesome, like maybe in the top 10 of QBs. so in an attempt to prove this, you put fitz's stats up against a bunch of good, not great QBs, and a couple average ones. and what do you know! fitz had the lowest QB rating. lolol i can't make this stuff up. thanks for proving my entire point with one, long, worthless, condescending post. not to mention, using stats as a stand alone point when comparing QBs like Big Ben is a complete !@#$ing joke, and you know it. In no way, shape, or form is Fitzpatrick a playmaker like some of these other guys. On a 3rd and 9, it's a goddamn coinflip whether the ball is even within 5 yards of the receiver. you can keep bitching about me all you want - i could give a flying !@#$ - but fans like you are the exact reason this team has been so bad for so long. you accept mediocrity and defend it like it's your first born child, only to come to the realization in 24 months how wrong you actually were. take a 1st round QB in the top 10? noooo, we have fitz! insane.
  5. easily a top 10 QB... truly unbelievable Manning 1, Manning 2, Brees, Big Ben, Rodgers, Brady, Romo, Schaub, Stafford, Rivers, Newton, Ryan. there's 12 no-brainers right there before you even get into the debatable ones. Then you have a group of guys who are either A. playing better than Fitz, or B. have 1000x more potential, to the point in which 32 of 32 GMs would take said player over Fitz. Cutler, Alex Smith, Flacco, Dalton, Freeman. i mean, holy ****, are we that stupid as a fanbase to trick ourselves into thinking we have the answer here at QB??? Where is this delusional crap coming from? The guy is the epitome of average.
  6. couple points: A. you're a fu(king d!ckhead. pretty unbelievable you can't get through a simple post without needing to say the bolded in order to bolster your point. B. why can't we get a HOF QB? Cam Newton might be a HOF QB. Hell, Barkley and RGIII might be HOF QBs. you can't get one unless you actually TRY to get one. i'd say there are 5-6 HOF QBs in the NFL right now - almost 1/5 of the league. why the !@#$ can't we be part of that group?? C. your suggestion is to "move on"?? wtf? why not improve and make the team better start at QB - at least TRY to get a stud in there. we'll have a top 10 pick in April, and if Barkley or RGIII are sitting there, TAKE A SHOT. D. it must suck to be me? at least i'm not a delusional, condescending prick. we'll revisit this argument this same time next year, 12 months from now. $50 says Fitz isn't the Bills starting QB.
  7. there's no reason he shouldn't be doing this for the bills. we never gave him a legit shot.
  8. first, why are you calling me a clown? do i amuse you? second, it's called the !@#$ing eyeball test and fitz fails it everyday and twice on sundays. cool, fitz doesn't get sacked a lot - i couldn't be more impressed that a QB who throws 95% slant patterns after 2 seconds doesn't get sacked. i'm completely blown away. i'm also super impressed that he has a high completion percentage. i'd like to see what that same % is on passes 20 yards downfield. i bet it's abysmal. watching him throw 5 feet over WRs heads and into triple coverage has gotten old. remember that bull **** call vs the pats where they were flagged for pass inference in the endzone negating an INT? that's the type of stuff he got away with the first few weeks. i think the raiders DBs dropped 5 sure INTs. now the real fitz is showing through and we've lost 5 in a row. fitz is a decent player and even better guy, but his lack of abilities put a really low ceiling on how far this offense can go. if you don't see that, then shame on you. if you also don't see that you need a top notch QB to get places in this league, well then you haven't been paying attention. do you think it's just fluke luck that the past 6 super bowl champ QBs are Brady, E. Manning, P. Manning, Rothlisberger, Brees, and Rodgers??? you're the same (*^*&%^$^#who has been harping on me for months when i've questioned the make-up of the team. results prove that you're about as knowledgeable as my !@#$ing dishwasher.
  9. just because we have **** to compare him to doesn't make him any better than average. two QBs from last draft are already better than Fitz - that's where we need to build from.
  10. bah idk, totally mixed on that. as long as we're keeping stevie and adding blackmon to the mix. if it's another get rid of one guy just to replace him i'll pull my hair out. blackmon is a pro. total package on and off the field.
  11. 8th. RGIII or Barkley. 3 QBs usually don't go in the top 7 right?
  12. lol great thread. After week 1: "The media is so dumb!!! How can they not see this well-oiled machine coming through WNY!!!!" Others after week 4: "uhh, maybe we should pump the brakes guys...our defense still doesn't look great.." Response: "ARE YOU SERIOUS, WHAT A JOKE, WE CAN PICK OFF ANY QB 40 TIMES!!!" Others after week 12: "yea, I saw this collapse coming from a mile away - our starters are average and we have no depth" Response: "SO YOU'RE HAPPY THEY SUCK?? WHY DO YOU POST HERE? YOU'RE NOT A REAL FAN!!" Good on JW for this thread. It's not like PTR takes it easy on people when they disagree with him..
  13. this thread brings the LOLs and is a perfect microcosm for bills fans. guy says something brutally honest, and gets ripped apart because people just don't want to see the truth. turns out he was on the money.
  14. no offense to you OP, but that's pathetic. it's pathetic that a regular season win at home in week 3 is our biggest win in 17 years. we're lucky there's not a relegation system in the NFL. we'd be in the 4th division.
  15. lol it's always something. oh the guy next to him is hurt! his leg is sore! peterson and green, both picked after him, and BOTH at positions of HUGE need, look like superstars. nix blows.
  16. lolololol dude doesn't like buddy nix so he's a janitor. awesome. A+
  17. lol no mention of the QB who can't complete a slant route? are you serious?
  18. i realize, but 7-9 sucking. aaron maybin, donte whitner, marshawn lynch type of sucking. we need to get to calvin johnson, adrian peterson, matthew stafford levels of sucktitude.
  19. haha actually i was here the whole time giving the same speech. probably the reason i got banned 3 times.
  20. the bills need to bottom out. with the exception of a few awesome franchises (steelers, red wings) other teams need to suck balls before they can get good again (lions, penguins, blackhawks, thunder). it's the easiest and most efficient way to get elite talent. we need a franchise QB and game breaking pass rusher. only way to get guys like that is to pick in the top 3. edit: enough with this 7-9 bull ****. i know we won only 4 games last year, but once again i think we're on pace to win 6-7 games and shoot our way out of the top 10. i know this is an unpopular mindset, and i know buffalo could be shipped out of town with 20 wins over 5 years, but with sucky records come elite, exciting players. look at carolina.
