  1. if stevie leaves, it would be: 1. frustrating 2. disappointing 3. expected
  2. yea, that's just ridiculous. a good "ambassador of the game"? what's your definition of ambassador? if it's someone who want to model your kids after, i agree. if it's anything else that actually has to do with sports, he's one of the greatest of all time.
  3. he's finished? lol. guess you haven't been paying attention.
  4. there's no way 60% of people who actually follow sports dislike Tiger Woods. 80% of that 60% is probably women who don't know what St. Andrew's is.
  5. rubs me the wrong way. we don't need our athletes to sulk for a week after a big loss, but partying like that the SAME NIGHT?! seems a little !@#$ed up.
  6. lol that article blew me away. talk about impulsive snap-judgements..
  7. laughable. because excessive celebration penalties define a person more than selfless acts in the community... get a !@#$ing life dude.
  8. posts like these make me sick, and are a perfect microcosm for bills fans who have been making excuses for over a decade. how do you explain fitz' successful first 6 weeks followed the massive dropoff? uhh how about NFL coordinators figured out what we were doing (3 step drop, quick slants, etc) and then game planned to stop it. the book is out on fitz - jam his receivers and he's essentially useless. wouldn't be shocked if the guy had a >1 INT:TD ratio next season and was out of the league by 2013. i've never seen a team try to build around a mediocre/average QB unless A. they were dead wrong and everyone knew it (Jets/Sanchez) or B. they had a world-class defense (Brad Johnson/Trent Dilfer). I believe we're in the A group.
  9. is this some sort of joke? who cares about the odds....if you're dumb enough to make a one-sided bet NOT in your favor, that's your fault. pay up.
  10. agreed. a strong case can be made for gronk. the guy is uncoverable.
  11. who do you take? couple buddies and i been thinking about it all afternoon, and we can't even come close to a consensus. yes, a good left tackle is important, but more important than a great skill player? is a stud WR or RB more valuable? i'm going 1. Rodgers 2. Megatron 3. Pat Willis 4. Demarcus Ware 5. Ngata
  12. no, he hasn't "proven it time and time again". he dropped 2 !@#$ing balls. it doesn't make him a loser. what about the game he had 3 2nd half TDs vs Cincy? Was he "clutch" that game?
