  1. sure thing coach. I'd "let it go" like you said, but that would be stupid, because i couldn't disagree more. at this point, when a 1st round talent is still on the board in a position where we aren't STACKED, than you take him. Unless a solid TE or C is still sitting there, than there is no shame is grabbing a guy who could eventually start.
  2. yea, cause that's the only thing that matters. I like DRC a lot too, def 1B to McKelvin coming into the draft, but to use to logic that INTs make a CB is foolish.
  3. whatever. picks are nice, but CBs are CBs because they dont have the best hands. i'll take mckelvin's potential to shut down WRs rather than Clements' great hands and mental lapses. if he's in the right position, he will force turnovers, bottomline.
  4. I wanted to take McKelvin or trade down and get Hardy around #20...so obviously I am a happy man right now.
  5. exactly. while they've picked good players, the fact that they gave up jared allen has to be part of the equation.
  6. Exactly. When did this idea start that you can only get a good pass rusher in the top 10 of the draft? Schobel wasn't an early pick, neither was Jared Allen, Umenyiora, ect.
  7. LOL.."disaster" If there was an earthquake and Radio City Music Hall crumbled to the ground, THAT would be a disaster. I'll even give you if the Bills traded away #11 for a 7th rounder, that may be considered a disaster, but taking a CB....not so much...
  8. A little over-the-top don't you think? Do you have a crystal ball that has already established DRC and Kelly to be busts?
  9. and behind one of the worst DLines in NFL history. I couldn't agree more, the hating on Crowell is baseless.
  10. agreed. i really really hope we find a way to get him.
  11. ehh considering they havent done sh-- in 10 years, i'll definately take being in the upper half. The Sabres SHOULD be in the top 10 if baboons were running the show, unfortunately what we have is much much worse.
  12. I'm starting to feel the same way. Get Hardy no matter what.
  13. Select all of the players that you would be satisfied with the Bills taking at #11 on Saturday.
  14. he was highlighted by a few national all-pro teams for a reason. LBs thrive behind solid D-lines, and to say ours was weak last year is a gross understatement. the guy is a gamer and a future pro-bowler in my opinion.
  15. This thread is a perfect microcosm of the entire board over the past few months. Everyone insisting that player X is better than player Y, but it's all just a huge guess at this point. I understand the addicting nature of the draft, as I get completely consumed in it every April, but to throw out these defining comments like "Thomas will be bust while Rivers is a sure fire stud," is just foolishness. Mike Williams and Charles Rogers were sure fire studs too. And as the only thing I can have a definitive opinion on at this point is Angelo Crowell. Last year I watched that guy mature into one of the better OLBs I've seen. Not sure why we want to run him out of town but whatever.
  16. As UB student, I watched him a number of times. Solid player. Who knew he could run a friggin 4.54 though? That's pretty amazing...no reason Buffalo shouldn't snatch him up as a URFA.
  17. THANK YOU! I thought for a minute the joke went right over everyone's heads, but finally someone picked up on it...
  18. Yea, I can definately get on board with that.
  19. ..they would find a way to get Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly. That way you can line Evans up on one side, and get Thomas, Kelly, and Reed to line up in trips formation on the other. Ralph would get so damn nostalgic and be tricked into thinking it's 1991, that he would sell the team to someone who will keep the team in Buffalo and spend money. The Bills would then go on to win 6 of the next 8 Superbowls. It's a no brainer move.
  20. The deal could end up being a huge steal for the Chiefs. A 1st and 2 3rds is a ton to give up for a guy with one strike left...
  21. am I missing something here? are we talking about the same Crowell that made a few experts All-Pro teams this past year? Isn't he regarded as one of the better up and comers at LB in the league? I think he's a fantastic player, quite possibly the best player on our defense last year, and I'm totally confused why you think his job is somewhat up for grabs.
