Im definately OK with it. The players really give it their all for him, and don't fix it if it's not broke.

The running game was obviously effective at something, because it allowed Edwards, a relatively unproven QB, to put up awesome numbers in what is one of the toughest places to play in the NFL. Clearly, they gave Marshawn a lot of respect, because throwing for 230+ yards at an 80% completion rate is just unheard of playing against the Jags at home.

Agree with all of that, but I think Troy deserves a bit more cred. No they're not a "pro producing haven," but they produced studs like Umenyiora and DeMarcus Ware in the past 3-4 years.

Hall is a terrible corner. It's actually ridiculous how overrated that guy is. Royal seems to be a gamer, but it was quite obvious that Cutler keyed in on him play after play, and simply had his way with the Raider defense. Watching that game, I wondered why it's always seemed difficult for Losman/Edwards to get the ball to Evans/Parrish on routes like those, but it took me all of 5 seconds to conclude the Raiders are that bad. We'll see in 2 weeks I guess.

I actually don't disagree with any of that, it's just all about perspective. I'm of the opinion Donahoe got lucky with Peters, this happens sometimes in sports. The Pats got !@#$in lucky with Brady, they didn't know he'd be that good. I think any of the teams that wanted to land Peters after the draft would be reaping the benefits right now. Peters picked Buffalo and the rest is history.

BECAUSE Vince Young is out. He believes with Kerry Collins in there at QB, and Young on the sidelines, the Titans become the team to beat. I'm not a VY fan either, but I'm thinking this guy just likes to make ridiculous predictions to get face time...

I really don't know if this is true. A lot has been made of the fact that Peters "owes" the Bills, because we "gave him a chance." Yes, under the Bills supervision, he became a world class tackle, but he was a world class athlete going into that draft. Anyone who followed that draft closely knew about the special talent that was Jason Peters, a 325+ pounder that ran a sub 4.9 40 time. I really couldn't tell you why a team didn't take a chance on him in the 7th, obviously a lot of GMs are kicking themselves now, but I do know that almost every team was trying to get him to sign as an undrafted rookie free agent. He DID pick Buffalo like he said, probably because we had sh------- ass tackles and he saw an opening there, as it was already assumed he was going to try and play o-line. Yes, Buffalo deserves a lot of credit, but so does Peters himself, and we should be lucky to have him on our team. He would probably be just as good anywhere else.

Crowd was solid. Exciting atmosphere altogether, esp after Roscoe's return everyone was just freaking out.
