Can't argue with much there, even if it contrasts with my optimistic tendencies. The point about the tight ends is dead on, as I can just see Jauron making excuses already about Nelson's lack of productivity. The fact of the matter is that our coaching staff has no !@#$ing idea how to utilize our talent properly (see Roscoe). Also, they consistently fall assbackwards into "good" personel moves such as giving Jabari Greer and Fred Jackson more playing time. You just KNOW that if injuries never occured those guys would be still be on the bench.

taking a QB early (around 5), isn't the worst idea in the world. Brees had far and away the most points in my league last year. Why not take the guy who will give you the most raw points?

I question if you have any idea what the !@#$ you're talking about. If Byrd is the real deal, how does having a ball-hawk safety "not help"? Seriously, WHO CARES if the dude misses the first 3 pre-season games - you're acting as if it puts a huge blemish on the pick altogether. It's just ridiculous logic.

Classic LAMP style overexaggeration. If you're really that worked up over pre-season game #1, then you must really have some issues to get worked out. However, a couple decent points too that go overlooked amongst the bitching and stupid Michael Jackson jokes. The McKelvin point was the worst. Any 2nd year CB, coming off a near Pro-Bowl season as a KR, with a few INTs and a Pick6 to boot, is not a bust. Not even close. Even suggesting that throws your credibility right in the toilet, and makes it obvious you're just trying to grab some attention.
