  1. I agree with another poster...Fantasy. We are NOT going to reform other countries. Do you not realise MOST of the Iraq People don't want us there? Has this not occured to anyone? "Option B is we come in and take care of your government and then leave you to do your own freewill." Maybe their 'freewill' is blowing each other up? But hey, we the big bad US are going to go into another country with guns blazing and say "We are going to 'help' aka FORCE you into democracy". Nice...real nice. When we leave, things will go back to the way they were. Again, defend our own borders. THAT was the real problem in the first place. AMERICAN ARROGANCE! Reports were there that said they were planning something. Instead of acting the top dogs went "Nah are you kidding me? Attack the US? BWAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAA."..........BOOM!
  2. Oh stevestojan Oh stevestojan Oh stevestojan! Word has it that IF the 'old ball coach' said no...Florida would make Stoops an offer he couldn't refuse. MUCH Better than last time. Also here is the kicker...OU will be graduating something like 16 Sr's this year. Now would be a good trasition time for him. Leave OU in ok shape with Peterson and Rhett Bomar, but move on to Florida under the "I acheived all I could at OU" Speak. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  3. Snow. I hope so. I would rather it be a battle between WM and CM. NOT Pennington v Bledsoe.
  4. Candidness? The guy didn't have the sac to state WM was the starter clear cut. also, Tom Donahoe has attached his entire legacy to this point, to the Bledsoe trade. Now you tell me...do you REALLY think JP is going to start soon?
  5. And the bad thing is...you may be 100% correct! hey side note, congrats to O State, they played one hell of a game. I hate the fact we handed you two free TD's though
  6. Wow. Mikey you really nailed it. Those with money want all the breaks. Those without care more about "issues" than a job. Makes sense.
  7. My whole position is this....Fix thy own house first. The US Economy is bad. And if anyone thinks it is going to get any better after plunging BILLIONS into trying to stop something that can't be stopped....that is wishful thinking. I have no problem DEFENDING Against terrorism. But China, Russia, the Mid east THEY need to step up as well. The time has come for the US to stop funding all of this.
  8. Guys, Please re read my posts. I dont' think I said Terrorism is "acceptable" period. DEFEND against it. Fine, I am all for it. But to be so KzooMike and say that he will spend whatever it takes to END it? The thing that scares me is he thinks it can be ended. 20 years from now and 100 trillion later...people will still be using terrorism as a tactic. you can not stop it. You CAN Better defend against it, and possibly reduce how much is going on. Until Russia, China etal start putting billions into this, we don't have a prayer of even slowing it down. When the Middle eastern countries start actively working together to stamp it out........BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA, sorry I had to at least try and say it THEN We have a chance. Until then, fix the economy, DEFEND against terrorism and lets get this country, THIS COUNTRY, back on track. And one thing to "On the Rocks" You have this in your sig line... "I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it. I'd prefer you just said thank you and went on your way." Well as a Veteran of the first war (and yes martha for those that missed the many conversations on the subject I was a 19K M1A1 armor Crewman in the first Gulf War) I have to say to you this....unless you stood a post in the war, yank the sig line and I will expect your THANK YOU promptly.
  9. So you are saying the war on terrorism is more important than our own economy? Terrorism is NOT the #1 priority at all. We got punched in the mouth with 911. While it sucks it is not reason to make terrorism the #1 priority for THIS country. Housing, Feeding and taking care medically of OUR OWN is #1 and should always be. Defend against terrorism fine....Take care of America's needs first
  10. Actually I am a Republican, so it saddens me to see an assclown with a giant "R" Stamped to him, running the white house. Now I know this board is pure one sided no matter what. It has become painfully obvious that you are blind to what is going on, but I will continue to hope some of you wake the hell up. Now as to my post.... GW said, this is again for the stupid, "I will spend whatever money it takes to END Terrorism". Ok now tell me how "Ending" Terrorism and "Defending against" Terrorism is the same? It isn't. Try to spin that stevestojan any way you want...you still can't defend his position. Spend the money IN AMERICA. Bring our folks home. Shore up our borders FIRST. I read where that type of thinking is what made us vulnerable in the first place. bull stevestojan. What made us vulnerable is EGO and ARROGANCE! "Hell no one will step foot on American soil and pull that stevestojan with us" Really? I guess that thinking bit us in the ass huh? KRC, I see you are still on the campain trail thinking wise (BTW...a sincere thanks for even being out there. ) But you take my priorities out of context. You want my priorities....Ok here ya go.... 1) Fix the economy. More jobs, Less layoffs, Less closings, Less moving jobs overseas. Less tax breaks for the rich (When is enough, enough damn money already?). 2) Medical Reform. The current medical system sucks ass. 3. and 3a) Shore up LOCAL AMERICAN Security, and bring our troops home. GW's own daddy in his book says don't go into IRAQ. There was no realistic way out. It's right there in print. I noticed Binladen put out another tape? But hey....we got old sadam! Point being (now stay focused here....dont twist and stray off course....) GW said he would spend whatever it takes to END Terrorism. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Not in the Mid east, China, Russia, South America, or even in America. not going to happen. No one can read minds. THAT is the only way you can stop terrorism. If you can read the mind of everyone in the world 24/7 you got a good shot at it. Otherwise, take care of your own house first. Our economy SUCKS, but we are pumping Billions into something we can never stop. Not good sence Buisness or other wise.
  11. If you had to place a 10k bet on the Bills to win this Sunday's game, you would serioulsy rather have JP in there? YES Not only that, I would take out another 10K loan and bet guys like you double or nothing he could win.
  12. GW in the first faceoff with JK says "I will spend whatever money it takes to end terrorism" Uh huh Well It doesn't take much to figure out no one will ever stop terrorism. NEVER. Not gonna happen. So GW is going to keep throwing billions after Billions after Billions of our money into something that can't be stopped? over 1.4 million MORE are out of work since he was elected? Again How is this a good thing? Sorry folks I just don't understand how anyone who actually works for a living can be happy with this. Sure terrorism is a bad deal. I agree 100% it is a priority...not THE Priority. To me I say bring our people home. Start defending OUR borders. Increase homeland security. Be tougher on immagration laws, and screening. Then put those billions back into finding ways to get our people off of welfare, encouraging Buisness to hire more people, increase minimum wage etc..... My greatest concern is not the next 4 years, but the economic mess this administration is going to leave behind. Billions after Billions after Billions overseas to stop something that can never be stopped? Sometime folks that Bill is going to come due...and we are all going to pay greatly. Oh wait! Not "all" of us. The Multimillionares / Billionares like GW Bush will be just fine. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  13. Mead...MM....Mead......MM........I do have two feet.....
  14. But it's ok, I'm sure he voted for Bush....
  15. And what he is suffering from is what all athletes suffer from after an injury. Post soreness and swelling in not only the area but around it as well. Working through it is the only answer. He will have to deal with the pain if he wants to fully recover. The thing that both cracks me up and at the same time, wants me to kick MM in the nuts is the "He's not ready" short and simple response. Well hell no he isn't MM. You and tom donahoe have hitched your wagon to bledsoe. So of course he isnt ready. Nor will he be this entire year if it is up to you....even if to the rest of the world (Including JP) he actually is.
  16. This is the last I am saying on this issue...I have talked to PRO Offensive linemen and they agree, The easiest move is from any other OL position to guard. One of these has seen WM play and agrees GUARD is his position. It doesn't matter TD Drafted him 4th. I will go with those who have played the positions oppinions.
  17. Having talked several times with a former Bill that started Center, Guard and tackle I can tell you GUARD is by far the easiest position on the team. There is no real "Learning the position". He has the center right by him to assist with his assignment on blocking schemes. The move would be an easy one for an athlete with 1/2 a brain. BTW...that is a direct quote from the same person. I also have talked in depth with Mike Baab former Center for the Cleveland Browns (Bernie Kozar) who now throws in the highland games with me. AGAIN another Offensive linemen that has played the positions agrees...the move to Guard is an easy one. So according to those who have played the position at a Pro level.... 1) it does NOT take a signifigant ammount of time. 2) it will NOT require several mini camps to do. 3) it will NOT Take planning, work, preparation and dilgence by the unit . 4) we have Teague if needed to play backup at either tackle position. The same position he played for the Broncos. Tucker is doing fine at Center. 5) We had a friggin DEFENSIVE TACKLE plugged in there for something like 15-18 plays last week alone. If it is so damn hard, why did we plug in a DEFENSIVE tackle at Left Guard. It doesn't take several paragraphs to state the obvious, the move CAN Be made. It CAN be made on the fly. It does NOT take a ton of work or planning. The ONLY reason MW was not at guard come August is this...he is a #4 overall pick. He is being paid Tackle money and #4 pick money. Tom Donahoes EGO will not accept the fact this guy will be average at best and could be damn good at Guard. That folks is the ONLY reason MW isn't playing LG right now.....Money.
  18. How someone could equate moving MW to LG = Giving up on the season blah blah blah is beyond me. MW to guard UPGRADES the OL as a whole. Putting a FASTER and more EXPERIENCED Price at RT UPGRADES the position and the line. It is a win win. bottom line is this, Mike williams will always be too big and too slow in this league as a tackle. ESPN did a HUGE Story on tackles being too big in this league and how DE's are only about 265 and QUICK! Jim McNally had stated in August he wanted MW there at Guard and Price at Tackle. Now somone other than him has obviously over ruled him. What pisses me off is this....why bring in JMac? I mean if you bring in one of the best and he wants to put this player there and that player over here and you over rule him....Why bother? But again the thing that just amazes me is how anyone can sit there and equate MW to guard a sign of giving up the playoffs (Which we are out of) or cashing in the season. I mean WTF????
  19. BGIM...."Good, bad....I'm the guy with the gun" Damn I live that flick
  20. I agree with Mike 100%. Screw those clowns. I'm not saying beat on them or anything, but Jail is jail. I agree with that Sheriff 100% as well. If the heat in tents is good enough for our men and women at war...Fugg these clowns. Let em' boil. If ALL prisons were like this, then I bet our crime rate would be lower!
  21. Dude don't start. Even a Hog finds a turnip in the piles of SH@# Every once in awhile.
  22. Gave his first ever Pro TD Ball to Sheldon out of appreciation for his blocking? Guys Combine this with his fire and desire and we have our RB for quite some time. Talk about class. http://buffalonews.com/editorial/20041103/...?tbd1014624.asp
  23. Losers? Every working class person is a LOSER with BUSH in office. Congrats folks. I figure by 2008 we will be so broke trying to end something we can't end (Terrorism) we will be open to a straight takeover.
  24. I'm a republican but I am also a victim of "bushenomics" the only president to LOSE jobs while in office seems to be back. Congrats to Big Buisness. The rest of us are Fu@#ed!
