  1. I think the Jets have a good chance to drop 2 games, and end up 10-6. In that case we beat the Jets with our 10-6 record (assuming we win out). But Denver... who holds that tie breaker?
  2. I forgot to say Bledsoe. We lost the New England and Baltimore games because of only one person. If Bledsoe doesn't LOSE the game for us. We have it.
  3. Score first... If the Bengals score first, they will have confidence, and at home... they will be tasting blood. If we score first, and play stout defense, the team will get a little worried, because they have watched the film of our dominate team. They know we are better. If we come out ahead 10-0 or 14-0, I say 90% chance that we take the game, even though we are in their house against a very talented team.
  4. Complete waste of time... IMO
  5. I would really like to know... who holds the tie breaker between Buffalo and Denver... if they both finished 10-6, who would be in?
  6. Our swarming, attacking defense will make him wish that he had played his last down. Wuhahahahahahaa!
  7. I covet the best kicker in College Football. Mike Nugent from Ohio State is 90% from beyond 50 yards... and he gets many many many opportunities there. As we are on the topic of Clarett... stay away. He is a selfish little brat, a jerk and an complete @$$. And (only those who actually watched him in every game like I did) he is injury prone. He only played 50% of the time. I'll stick with Willis, but I would prefer Nugent over Lindell any day.
  8. Best Play has to be the Pitch to WM... that was genius. The best physical play was that run against the Rams. My jaw dropped when I saw that one.
  9. Leading the league (probably) in carries for loss yields a low YPC. Consider, Willis McGahee numbers (probably) 9 straight carries by Willis 2 yards -1 yard 9 yards 1st down 6 yards 5 yards 1st down 8 yards -2 yards 4 yards 1 yard Touchdown Very successful drive right? Good job Willis!! Thanks for the points. But his YPC is only 3.5 for that drive.
  10. Lee Evans 33 catches 587 yards 17.8 ave 6 TD Michael Clayton 70 catches 988 yards 14.1 ave 4 TD Roy Williams 40 catches 618 yards 15.5 ave 5 TD Larry Fitzgerald 47 catches 637 yards 13.6 ave 4 TD Considering Evans is playing second fiddle to Eric Moulds, his numbers are (in my opinion) more impressive than any one of these guys. Higher average and more TDs.
  11. Sure, we've been beating up on teams that aren't that solid. Browns, Seahawks, and Rams have been overrated all year. I wouldn't be surprised if we take it to Cincinnai and win again, by a margain that's not close. Then crush SF (with ease). But how good are we? We might find out this year, at home, on January 2nd. Here's the ideal situation (in my opinion) Bills win out, as does New England, Pittsburgh, and two of the three Ravens/Broncos/Jets trifecta stumbling. It would be ideal if the Bills have a game against Pittsburgh with the playoffs at stake. Not only that, but have Pittsburgh be in a position that they WANT to beat us, so they can have homefield in the playoffs (an edge over New England). Pittsburgh would be up for the game, we would be up for the game (of course) and pressure would be on us. A good team who wants to win, versus us for the playoffs. That's a game I want to see, I could get excited about. Because I think that we could be Pittsburgh at home, and amaze the entire NFL. What do you think?
  12. Very nice summary. I too was noticing how big those games (Cincinnati and Pittsburgh's comeback with the win by SD). I have too been trying to crunch the numbers. But have you attempted to figure out the possibilty of what will our liklihood be of the Bills ending 9-7? It definitely will be less than 50%, but it's above 0%, right?
  13. Seeing that crappy phrase "Happy Holidays" makes my flesh crawl. Christmas is the greatest holiday in my humble opinion, and I will always say Merry Christmas even if it one day becomes illegal.
  14. Yes, the NFL never gives the Bills respect. But don't disrespect Marshall. He is one of the great runners of our time. Remember that! I was excited seeing him shut down, but at the same time I was still more relaxed with Jackson in there instead of Faulk.
  15. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Harrison has always been a dirty player. Shows you the type of rotten organization that New England is. Replacing a team leader and altogether good guy in Milloy with a cocky, overrated dirty player like Harrison. He and the Pats belong together.
  16. Wow, that was a complete waste of your time. Taking Levitical law out of context. WOW! How stupid is that. In reading this, am I to propose that you are not REALLY against homosexual relations? And you were just mocking the Bible? If you want to take a look outside of Levitical law, to see how the Bible calls homosexuality a perversion and a sin, you may want to refer to I Corinthians 6:9. And you may want to hesitate regarding slamming the Word of God.
  17. Exactly... those erectile commericals make my skin crawl. I hate them... the skit was uncalled for, but you have pointed out a real hypocracy there. If you condemn one, condemn the other as well. I personally condemn both.
  18. You hit the nail on the head. Williams struggled mainly because of the crap placed around him. The team turned out to be three great defensive coordinators (who now boast the number 1,2, and 3 defenses in the NFL) and with them... very little else. MM has placed people around him, that will outshine him. Williams was afraid to do that. That's why MM will do better.
  19. Oh where did the perfect world of having two very good running backs go? Remember Thurman followed by Kenny Davis? Davis could have played for any other team, and he could have gotten 1000 yards. But sadly the Thurman/Kenny days are gone, and Travis will never settle for second fiddle. Wouldn't it be great if he did?? We need at least a second round pick for a guy who has nearly 2800 yards over two years. I can't fathom TD settling for less.
  20. Michael Moore is a goon. An idiot. He takes things out of context and he does it so often, it's a wonder if he even is trying to hide the fact. I watched Fahrenheit 9/11 (for free... I'd never support him) and couldn't even count the number of lies. He's a creep! *Actually I voted for Kerry, before I voted against him*
  21. My Superbowl Predictions have been the same all the way through. I still believe that it will be Philidelphia and New England. New England will lose
  22. Somehow I just knew that Wandstadt would destroy those Dolphins. I was celebrating when he was first hired. It took him a few years, but he finally destroyed that team. LOL
  23. I'm sorry, I really don't see us losing this game at all. We have been in every game this year. And the teams we lost to are not chumps (except perhaps Oakland, which if I recall, we DID win according to the apology letters.) Baltimore is not a good as the teams we almost beat (Jacksonville and NY Jets) even WITH their stud RB. But this is a big game. Yet I am as certain that we will win this game as I was about the Phin' Game!
  24. Great post. I think that this game will tell us a lot about our Bills. Are they really as bad as they started? Only time will tell.
