  1. I do think that is more of a coincidence than we realize. I think the Bills have their idea of best players and are hoping for one to fall to #8. Who those players are... your guess is as good as mine. I am personally hoping for a pass rusher to put opposite from Mario. This needs to be an attacking defense.
  2. Really need to take the BPA regardless of position in round one.
  3. Your score is: 3883 (Drafting Ability: A, Player Quality A-, Future Draft Picks: N/A) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 16 (STL): Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee (A) Round 1 Pick 22 (STL): Alec Ogletree, OLB, Georgia (A) Round 2 Pick 9: Barrett Jones, C, Alabama ( Round 3 Pick 9: Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse (A) Round 4 Pick 8: Akeem Spence, DT, Illinois (A) Round 5 Pick 10: EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State (A) Round 6 Pick 9: Braden Brown, OT, Brigham Young (A) Fills holes and has two good quarterbacks fighting to be the next "guy". Oh, if this were only a real possibilty.
  4. And the Bills are the only team of the five without a cool video link. Hmm....
  5. No "get 'er done" or "I've heard of him" posts?
  6. Interesting trade partner with Tampa Bay... something I will be looking for.
  7. Best line: We played 18-1. Too soon? I'm sorry. 2nd Best line: Don't think you or I will have to worry about Baltimore for a while?
  8. I hope the QB we draft next month will be a leader.
  9. I disagree with just about everything you said. Marrone did have success in college. Syracuse was a clown show and he improved the team to be back to back bowl winners. Wood is our best offensive lineman, not Levitre. Fitzpatrick was not proven to say the least. Nix is not a boob, he is a hick. Big difference there. We will be making meaningful moves in FA... Manny Lawson was quite meaningful (as you will see). What misses in the draft are you referring to? Spiller? Byrd? Wood? Levitre? Gillmore? The only one I can see as a complete miss is Maybin, but the rest of that year's draft makes up for it. QB was weaker in last year's draft (minus Luck and RG3, which would have never made it to pick #8 anyways). I think there are a few QBs I would be happy with the Bills selecting this year. Geno Smith is becoming more and more likely. And the Bills finishing 3-13 or worse next year... I'm willing to bet 1000 dollars that that will not happen.
  10. Going 3-13, Alex VanPelt as the starting quarterback. Then with the #4 overall pick... selecting T Mike Williams from Texas. Boy was that a rough patch.
  11. 9/25/11 was a good day
  12. It has only been two days people. Patience is a virtue. There is still a lot of good talent out there.
  13. Excellent point... we could have brought in all the top flight free agents, but if the coaching staff is inept, then it is just a big waste of money. Here's hoping Marrone and Pettine have the knowledge and moxie to turn this team around. The talent is there, heck it was there last year and the year before. We just need good coaching. (And having a good QB couldn't hurt)
  14. Unless Leodis turns it on, he will be cut in two years. Not a bad risk for the Bills.
  15. And they draft Johnny Football 1st overall, and the Bills are screwed!
  16. I am not an SEC fan whatsoever... but you have to give them the props. The SEC is now getting the highest rated high school prospects, coaching them with arguably the best set of coaches, and competing against the highest level of competition. I would select a blue chip high school recruit who has been coached by Nick Saban for four years over a kid who is not, almost every single time.
  17. Pettine has a plan for McKelvin. Perhaps a "real" defensive coordinator can find a way to unlock his potential. It looks as though the Bills are going to give it a try!
  18. Love Bills Mafia. Great articles! Thanks for posting.
  19. Levitre will not make Nicks money. He has never sniffed a Pro Bowl. I know that doesn't mean anything, but I don't think the demand for him will be as great as you think. Yet... I really hope the Bills pony up whatever money he wants, because we need him more.
  20. Interesting data and hypothesis. I like your thinking
  21. Broncos over the Redskins... first SuperBowl I remember that did not go the right way. And it sure wasn't the last. Wish the Patriots* were 0-4 and the Billls were 4-0.
  22. I would draft him. He had three great years at USC and then one so so year. He is also a great person! I would (for one) be happy to see him in Buffalo.
  23. If CJ and Bo were in a foot race... my money would be on CJ.
  24. I'm pretty sure Jesus commanded his followers to go into your closet and close the door and pray to your Heavenly Father in secret. Crying in prayer in the middle of a football field... well, Mr. Lewis... the Bible says you have received your reward in full.
