I love the way Karlos runs. When he turns the corner, downhill, he is punishing...and fast. I look forward to the future with this guy. The kid from Florida (Matt Jones) who is playing for the Redskins is also really good. These new RBs are like 6'1" - 6'2" and 230 lbs. Big guys and fast!

Expect every defense to attack our offense like this...
zow2 replied to BmarvB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True. It's uncanny how many times Brady just hits his receivers right in the hands. They can't help but catch it. He's deadly quick and accurate getting the ball out. TT won't ever be that accurate standing in the pocket but he has the gift of speed, elusiveness and a great arm (with some nice touch on deep passes). If he takes some of the lessons learned from yesterday he can be really good. He tried to stand in there a few times yesterday and prove he could throw from the pocket....ended up taking unnecessary sacks. Look at what Seattle did with Wilson in the 2nd half last night. They started calling QB run plays...rolled him away from the pocket. All of a sudden Wilson couldn't be stopped. A defense can't really contain that when a QB has those kind of skills on the run. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game, in no particular order.....

It's weird. He buys himself some time in the pocket and then looks lost and takes a sack. He had plenty of chances to roll out of the pocket and run or toss it downfield. It's like he was stubborn in the 2nd and 3rd Qtrs wanting to show he could make plays from the pocket. Forget that. He needs to be an athlete and roll outta there. Good things happened late when he did. -
Is anyone else worried about what we are seeing on D
zow2 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not gonna happen. No one else but Brady can dissect a defense and get the ball out that quickly and accurate. Unfortunately the best coach in the league has the best QB as well. Same story, different year. -
Agreed, the people always will say the Bills did not get any pressure...but it's all Brady. He can read the D and get it out much faster than our D-line can penetrate. It sickens me but Brady is the master. You can't deny that. Tyrod can buy himself 8 seconds and still get sacked. Brady just needs a split second.

Luckily Brady won't be coming back. The D stunk today but they were abused by a hall of famer. They won't give up 40 in a game at RWS again this year,,,hopefully not even 30. They ain't the '85 Bears but they are certainly better than what we saw today. -

The undisciplined and drive extending penalties were a disgrace. It's all following Rex's bravado and it needs to be corrected asap. The D made no adjustments today. Brady reads the defense and gets the ball out so fast that the D-Line has no impact. The Bills either need to play press coverage at the line of scrimmage or rush everyone. Sitting back and watching Brady carve them up all day with 10 yards outs to wide open receivers is nauseating. -
Crowd noise this Sunday? Guinness in the House!
zow2 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think the record happens today. If it does, I'll be impressed. Too many Pats fans buy tickets on the secondary market. In recent years estimates were anywhere from 8,000 - 15,000 Pats fans in RWS. Yes, this year there shouldn't be as many but even 4-5,000 would be enough to take the edge off. They would have been better off trying the noise record for the Indy game. It was probably 99% Bills fans in the house. -
Tyrod needs to work on his fashion (Update: CONFIRMED)

I don't care what the guy wears,,,as long as it isn't a Stevie Johnson "wife beater" T-shirt at a post game presser. TT is really good. and if he keeps winning I will probably really look forward to seeing what outfit he comes up with postgame. -
Not bad. If Johnson doesn't drop the sure 2-pointer i would've nailed it.

The national take seems to like the Colts. I'm also hearing a lot of Indy vs...(GB, Philly) Super Bowl predictions. I don't take Indy lightly but for some reason they just don't scare me. Pettine's defense shut down Luck last season. I think Rex's defense will hold Luck in check. The Colts D doesn't seem like anything special. The Bills really need this game to jump start their season for lofty expectations. Buffalo 27 Colts 16

Is this finally the QB situation we've been looking for?
zow2 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills are getting very fortunate here...maybe a little lucky too. I watched TT all 4 years in Baltimore preseason games. He always tore it up in preseason. Great stats. This year was nothing new for him. It's just that Flacco never got injured and no one ever got to see TT perform in a meaningful game. TT must have been burning up inside watching guys like Thad Lewis get to start NFL games while he was warming the bench. Anyway, here we are now. No one really knows how TT will perform with full game plans designed to stop him. That's exciting though. He could be another Russell Wilson for all anyone knows?!? We do know he's fast, has a great arm, seems pretty accurate, has great pocket presence, knows when to get out of bounds and slide, commands the huddle, gets praised for his leadership style, etc.. I think he's gonna exceed what the national pundits are expecting. -

Fitz played well tonight and Bryce Petty went off in the 2nd half. I was a big Petty fan and wished the Bills had drafted him. I feel he will be the guy in NY before the season is done. -

EJ is just decent enough to hang around. The other guys aren't franchise QBs either so it's kind of nice to have 3 guys that can move the team if needed. I personally think TT should start. -

EJ runs off the field like they won the Orange Bowl. Lol. Good for him though. Nice drive with absolute scrubs all around him -

Bills get the PI call but holding on Oline kills em. Just can't get out of their own way -

Don't get why they didn't let TT throw on first or second down in red zone but oh well, nice drive with limited skilled people around him. He's the closest thing we will ever get to having Russell Wilson -

Strange that last week in Cleveland, a whole bunch of Redskins players got hurt. A couple seriously. What's up Cleveland?!?!? -

Players that are penciled in for opening Day starters shouldn't even see the field in this game (other than QBs). Just too many injuries going on and no need to risk starters. -
Exhibition Week 1 - Panthers vs. Bills
zow2 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sucks that we don't have one great QB. But kinda nice knowing we have 2 maybe 3 who can be efficient and move the chains. -
Wow, that's crazy if true. Listening to Ryan Clark on ESPN radio today talking about Enemkpali, he actually sounds like a decent guy. Very quiet and serious worker. He made a huge mistake here...but sounds like he was pushed by Geno's smugness.

**Update**, i called back and spoke w/ a very sweet retention lady. She ended up giving me ST Max for free. Then without asking she offered me an additional $30 credit x 12 months if I agreed to stay with Directv for another year. Of course I will so there's another huge credit. I almost felt guilty about it.

Yep, if you buy PDF tickets like that it is risky. I got burned once doing that...never bought that way again. Luckily i purchased using Paypal and they were eventually able to refund my money after i submitted a dispute/fraud claim. I sell a bunch of tickets every year through Craiglist and it amazes me how many people out there will trust you to be honest (and not try to resell the same tickets). I'd never do that to someone but I know it is common practice. People can be awful.....so many scammers and thieves out there.

[closed]Kiko Alonso Concussion protocol
zow2 replied to marcusj's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's easy to say that now but he did play all 16 games as a rookie...no easy feat at his position. He might have a year or so blip here but ya never know. He could come back and play the next 5 years without any problems. Too early to call him injury prone.
