  1. Mitchell Trubisky does not look special. Goff sucked in his first year and now has a great coach and is much improved. You just never know how these "franchise" QB's will turn out.
  2. Unfortunately it looks like there will be too may Bowl eligible teams this year. UB may be sitting home unless maybe some teams decline an invite. with the fan base here I can’t imagine the Bulls getting picked over any other programs
  3. I’ll be watching from afar on ESPN3. Hopefully some people in Buffalo will actually show up, but I don’t have much faith in that.
  4. Pretty sure Peterman will get another chance. If not this season than beginning in spring 2018. He was so hyper-over aggressive in his play. Just being so careless. He will learn a lot from it. Just hope he gets one more crack to do something positive.
  5. In hindsight, yeah Anthony Lynn looks legit and McClapper and the Beane counter are taking haymakers to the chin at the moment. at the very least, even without Rivers, Lynn would have had a ready made offensive that played to Tyrod’s strengths, and we would have had a better rushing attack to complement McCoy.
  6. Who knows? Your take is as plausible as anyone elses’. Not likely though. I will say I have never seen an NFL team start 5-2, look pretty good. Then get blown away three in a row looking like the worst team in the league by far. That just speaks to a fragile makeup. The Sabres are in a league of their own. Terrible chemistry, no accountability, mentally weak, poor goaltending. And really, there’s zero help on the farm so no hope of getting better soon. That’s a product that has declined. I’m shocked if they get 10k per game after January unless it’s Canadians coming to watch their teams. To blame it on the negative media though is a reach.
  7. Is it OK for me to root for the Bills to win this week? Seriously, some "fans" here are just poisoned into thinking losing is the best option to cure all ills. Anyway, can McD and his staff actually coach the team up this week please. I'm losing faith in all of them. Never have I seen what was a decent team get blown away 3 games in a row like this. It's embarrassing. This coach had better show something this week and get these players to perform.
  8. I'll say it again. If McD came out this morning and said Peterman was starting at KC he deserved to be Fired on the spot. Coaching career suicide. So anyway, have at it Peterman fans. I do hope the guy can dust it off and compete in 2018 training camp.
  9. Sadly, i think you are right. I listened as two prominent former players were guests on Sirius this week. They said the Bills made the move to Peterman and that was his audition. They said it failed and Buffalo will NOT be going to Peterman again. They can't. They all agreed Tyrod will start the remaining games (unless an injury) and Nate will be fortunate to find a place as a 3rd string backup someday. We will be drafting a QB early in 2018.
  10. You don't have to stink anymore and be #1 to get your QB. teams trade draft assets to move up all the time.. They can get whoever they want at QB, just gotta be willing to pay.
  11. Time for the Oline to show up again. Time for the backup WR's to actually make some plays and help the QB. I see backups helping other teams all over the league. These guys need to step up!
  12. For anyone to come on this board and suggest McD is stupid for going back to Tyrod or "has no balls" is ridiculous.....that is so disingenuous. If McD came back and started Peterman at Arrowhead this week he should be fired on the spot. No NFL coach, GM or owner would ever sign off on putting back in a rookie with zero body of work after that disaster. It would be career suicide.
  13. Leslie Frazier....you’re on the clock
  14. Not to overreact or anything...but McD should come out tomorrow and not only declare Tyrod will start at KC. But he should say Tyrod will be the starter for the remainder of the season. If McD turns this into a flip-floppy type QB situation then he loses the team and loses credibility as a head coach.
  15. Exactly. And if his last name were Brissett or Hoyer or Gabbert it would be the same reaction. Unfortunately for Peterman, he has no other body of work to fall back on. So this is it. He picked the worst possible moment to try and be a gunslinger and throw passes when he shouldn't have. Sometimes you just gotta turtle or throw it deep out of bounds. And yeah, the KB injury and DiMarco thing were big contributors but Nate doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. He's a rookie and he threw 5 picks. That's all anyone cares about.
  16. On Sirius they buried Peterman. Said once they plucked him out at halftime, his season was over. Tyrod will finish it out, Bills will draft a QB and Peterman will never see the field again (unless an injury emergency occurs). The fans in BLo continue to look for a silver lining in his performance. Nationally his career as a starter is over here, and maybe forever. Thanks DiMarco!
  17. Well, in an effort to maintain the integrity of the NFL, the Chiefs probably deserve the Peterman treatment just like was afforded the LA Chargers. I mean that definitely got LA right back in the AFC West race.. Not only with the W but their confidence is now sky high. I'm sure KC was thrilled with that decision by our McD.
  18. He's already being skewered, for everything. Anything he has said since he was hired is being dragged out of the closet. If he starts Peterman at Arrowhead, McD might as well be fired on the spot.
  19. The Chargers had zero turnovers and 1 measly penalty called against them. They played almost a perfect NFL game. Then we add in a QB that can't take care of the ball and it's a 30 point loss. LA was not going to lose that game no matter who was playing QB. But it would have been less embarrassing i suppose with TT.
  20. I can appreciate his devotion and now totally fed up. Been there. I'm not leaving this party, Bills fan for life..but I am probably dumping my season tickets after this season. I only come up for 1-2 games per year max. I'm finding it harder to resell the tickets i don't use, especially December games.. I can cherry-pick the game i want to attend and buy great seats on the secondary market for pretty cheap.
  21. I understand that McD won't be pressured into making a decision against his belief.. BUT, if he had any clue as to the "temperature in the room" he'd go with Tyrod this week. Taylor has played at Arrowhead, he knows the deal, this should be a close game if the D can show up and play a normal game. If he rolls out Peterman then his team will be giving him eye-rolls behind his back and his reputation as a head coach will be seriously questioned even more than it has been.
  22. Well i definitely agree with that as well. I'd call McD a fool if he rolls out Peterman at KC. Tyrod definitely gives the team a better chance to win this week. Hotrod has played at Arrowhead, he knows what it's all about. Nate would go in there and his mindset would be not to throw picks...and he'd be captain checkdown just as much as Tyrod was vs. NO. McD needs to give the young guy a chance to catch his breath and learn. Assuming we lose to KC and NE, then start Nate vs. Indy at home. It's easier to have him gain some confidence at home where the team typically performs better... (unless it's the Saints!)
  23. Funny, i wrote on twitter yesterday (to harrington) that my prediction was Pegula would have the Sabres for sale within a year. He kind of shot that down and said he will not sell. But my point regarding the Sabres is that he has tried everything with that club and it just turns to crap. Terry is a good guy, he's done an amazing job building up Canalside. I personally don't think he needs the aggravation of the Sabres. They are hemorrhaging fans, the games don't sell out anymore and they are terribly dull. I do think he will remain the owner of the Bills and concentrate on them. But jeez, the Sabres have to be giving him serious high blood pressure and ulcers. Who needs that?
  24. Eh i don't think he's a hypocrite. His reputation has definitely taken a hit though. Let's face it, last week 98% of the national media called the move to Peterman -dumb, stupid, moronic and reckless (to name a few). We local fans were like..NO, we watch the team every week and it's a good calculated risk. Well, the national media was 100% right! It was a dumb move in hindsight. The team was in a playoff spot and they pissed it away. Probably would've lost with Tyrod anyway, but that narrative is pointless now.
