  1. One thing i do know. When Carolina lost Kelvin Benjamin in preseason 2015 I was sure they were cooked. All they did was cruise their way to the SuperBowl. Now he's healthy and they are 1-3. I'm Not suggesting the Bills will be more successful without Watkins, but it's such a team game.,,,and they are 2-0 without him. (plus defensive reinforcements are on the way- Dareus & Shaq). The sky is not falling.
  2. I also had Bills winning this 19-13 in my preseason prediction thread. Rams D is legit. This will be a tough game.
  3. Secondary market ticket sales have not been nearly as high $$ as they were even 3 years ago. I know this very well since I have season tickets for another team in addition to the Bills.
  4. At the Ravens game Sunday the Oakland punter was doing the Ray Lewis dance after a few coffin corner beauties.. It was pretty funny,
  5. It's hilarious that we all think this.
  6. I'm with the OP. I haven't been able to watch the past two games live, so I DVR'd them and watched later at night after hearing the results.. I'm in for the Rams game though. Watching it LIVE>!
  7. Horrible WR's for this Sunday, I would've said Salas is the #1 but he's out too. Give NE a heavy dose of McCoy and Gillislee swing passes, sweeps and power runs.... mix in a few Tyrod broken play scrambles. That's about it for the O.
  8. Pats underrated but nearly elite defense smother Bills. They beat us in special teams play as well. Pats 27-10. (just to pat myself on the back, i picked the Ravens, Jets and Cards games correctly in the prediction thread as well). Hope I'm wrong this week.
  9. NO Sammy or Salas. This has to be the weakest WR corp in the league this weekend. NE won't let McCoy go off like he did at home last week.
  10. Apparently there's a lighted marker buoy about 100 yards SE off the end of jetty. Local boaters said they are supposed to go around it and make a wide right turn up the channel. That's the safe proper way of doing it. but lot's of small boats take the short cut between the marker and the end of the rocks... it saves a minute or so i guess. speculation is thats what Fernandez did and cut it too close to the rocks since they aren't lit up. Just an awful way to go
  11. Silly. You just can't release a guy because he misses a random extra point. If he misses some critical 35-45 yard FG's? sure, but not an XP. Look around the league, Cleveland lost a game because a fill-in kicker missed 3 FG's. Aguayo down in Tampa was a 2nd round pick, never misses....and he is missing alot. They'd be stupid to get rid of Carpenter at this point.
  12. On point for this game and the season predictions thus far..
  13. i saw Edelman play once at UB when he was a senior. great running QB in the MAC. decent passer, nothing special.... but that boy could run..
  14. I don't disagree. I've said it for a while, the organizations that are buttoned-up and professional seem to be the one's that excel year after year. Of course, when you look closer... those same organizations have excellent QB's as well.
  15. The Pegulas kind of remind me of how Dan Snyder acted when he first bought the Redskins. He was buddies with players, coaches, GM- and had meetings all the time with anyone and everyone. If you win with that method then great, it's fine...but if things go bad (like they did with Snyder), then you gotta change things up. Now you rarely see Dan Snyder in the public eye, he's very low profile compared to what he used to be. The team Prez, GM and coach are the only one's who talk publicly and make football moves. Personally, if I was an owner I'd be involved. Not to the point of being a nuisance and distraction, but I'd want to have insight into everything going on and have a say.
  16. I think I heard Colin Cowherd yesterday pick the Bills as one of his upsets of the week.
  17. Once again., the most underrated unit in football dictates the game. Pats defense (and special teams tonight)
  18. The answer below from Anthony Lynn is exactly what i want to hear. I just want to see some urgency, get up to the line quickly and fire off. Under Roman we left so little time on the clock for adjustments, and the 2-minute drill looked like a playing in-mud drill. Hoping for better days ahead for the offense. Q: What do want this offensive identity to be? A: I want to play smart, physical football. I want to be explosive down the field. Right now, I just want to stay on the damn field. We're going to play a little bit faster and see if we can put a little pressure on the defense. Just execute. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/09/what_buffalo_bills_oc_anthony_lynn_said_in_first_press_conference_transcript.html
  19. I believe Drew Stanton, another geezer
  20. -Cards coming West to East - Bills traditionally strong vs NFC at home - Cards won last week, Bills the more desperate team - Bills get run game going - Typical NFL game where script flips from week to week Buffalo wins 24-20
  21. You know a QB will be special when the league gets a full season of film on them and the QB still excels. Well, here we are...teams can now game-plan the heck out of Tyrod Taylor. Teams know what to take away and what to "give" TT to see if he can take advantage. He escaped trouble a few times vs. Baltimore and inexplicably overthrew guys or threw short..and missed reads. We were all hoping that was an aberration. I still have hope that he can be the guy. He throws a terrific deep ball, but let's see the short-medium passes improve. On that note, it's will be interesting to see how Wentz, Garoppolo, Dak Prescot, Siemian and a few others develop once D-coordinators around the league get film on these guys and really start taking away the things they are comfortable with..

  23. It seems like the recipe for winning in this league is to have a buttoned up- professional- no drama type of organization. The Bills now have the polar opposite of that. But hey, on the plus side the national media has not talked this much about the Buffalo Bills since the Super Bowl years. So we're getting noticed..yay.
  24. Sure seems like whenever Gillislee gets some playing time he makes some plays. It wouldn't hurt to give he and Williams a few more opportunities if they are active.
  25. I predicted this on the season schedule. Bills will win...here are some factors - Cards won yesterday, Bills the more desperate team. - Bills traditionally have done well vs. NFC teams at home - The better teams "on paper" coming from Western to Eastern time zone (and vice versa) don't typically blow people out, should be close. - Just a gut feel that while Arizona is good, they aren't the juggernaut as being hyped// **and I also predicted the Bills to get pounded by the Jets by 18, so I'm not being a homer.
