  1. I got a bad feeling about today. Ugh. Plus I'm superstitious and don't know how many in a row we've lost in the white jersey blue pants combo. It feels like several dating back to last year
  2. Miami 27 Bills 13 The season doesn't come crashing down here but there will be lot's of questions about this team going forward.
  3. I get what the OP is saying,,,but you can't be overly upset about Shaq, Ragland and Dareus since they haven't even played a down yet. Just think when they do come back you're plugging in 1st/2nd round talent to an already good D. Watkins and Shady? eh, they are fragile. I'm surprised Shady lasted a healthy 6 weeks before tweaking something. Other guys will (and have) stepped up. The only player we really can't afford to lose is Tyrod imo. He doesn't get enough credit for what he does out there to keep plays alive.
  4. Gillislee is not quite as explosive as McCoy but let'snot forget he probably has as many breakway long TD runs over the past couple seasons with fewer touches. He also won't go sideways for a 5 yard loss very often like Lesean. I see good things happening in the run game for a one game start.
  5. I actually think they can get by with Gillislee, Williams and a little Bush thrown in... Tyrod would need to make a few 1st down with his legs.. Tight Ends would be heavily involved.. Maybe a WR could catch a pass beyond 25 yards... If they don't turn it over and play tough D, I like their chances. Would much rather have McCoy at 95-100% for the New England game..
  6. ...And...right on que, Shady tweaks his hamstring in practice.
  7. Tightness... per Rex, would not commit to anything about Sunday.
  8. Looks like Fitz's game vs Buffalo will be his last Great game of his career. He really balled out that game, but man the Bills DB's played so far back and the Jets WRs caught everything that night. In hindsight it's a terrible loss and an important AFC loss.
  9. Love the way the O and running game are working... but if they are too dependent on McCoy (to use a popular phrase on this board)... it's not sustainable. Don't get me wrong, LeSean is awesome, but most RB's who get 17-25 touches per game are going to get banged up at some point. McCoy will get hurt at some point, they always do. I'd like to see them work in Gillislee and Williams a bit more...get them used to playing when it matters.
  10. That was a decent win for the Phins last Sunday.. BUT that is the same Pittsburgh team that was also shredded by the Eagles. The rookie Wentz competed 75% and 300 yds on the 'Burgh and they averaged over 4 yds per rush. So I don't really know how good that Miami win really was since Pittsburgh is a different team on the road. Regardless of anything, winning on the road vs. a division rival is never easy. Plus Miami is kind of due to beat the Bills. Hopefully we come out and play this game with the urgency they played at New England a few weeks ago.
  11. These were my predictions w/ scores after 1 game. This portion of the schedule is where i saw this season crashing down. We'll see. If they beat Miami on the road I'll start to believe this team has something special going on,,,
  12. By the way, whatever happened to Salas? I though he had a week to week type injury. Seems more serious than first thought. I was at the game yesterday and O'Leary was open a lot. If Clay is dinged up at all, i can see Nick having a few 5-6 catch games soon.
  13. As miserable as Browns fans are...they can cozy up to their NBA Championship and possible World Series trophy soon. Buffalo fans got zip, nada, not even playoff games.. We are on an Island by ourselves when it comes to being miserable. Hoping this is the year,
  14. I can accept the Kane injury,,,,it happened during the game. Stuff happens. The Eichel thing feels like a gut punch.... one of those freak practice injuries. It's knd of like Reggie Ragland for the Bills. Those are hard to deal with.
  15. Dareus is the biggest POS out there. He doesn't play for 4-5 weeks and can't immediately get on the field healthy?!? The fans of this team care so much more about the fate of the Buffalo Bills than he does. I'm sure that holds true for several others but Dareus in particular irks me.
  16. This game reminds me of the Minnesota home game a couple years ago. Should've won easily, Vikes were pretty bad at the time. Bills move the ball easily on first drive, get to red zone and fumble. That set the tone. The rest of the game was sloppy with Bills turnovers and they had to miraculously pull it out at the end. Now we get the subpar 49ers at home. The Bills should have their way. It's all about taking care of business,,,taking care of the football, no stupid penalties. I hate that the betting line has gone from 7.5 favorites to 9.5. Everyone is putting their $ on Buffalo to win easily. So often it feels like these kind of games go the other way. I'll be surprised if Kap runs a smooth offense on the road vs. a good defense like the Bills. But he is the wildcard, we'll see. I like the Bills to win 24-19....closer game than we would like.
  17. I live out of the area and this is the first time in a decade I didn't renew the NHL Center Ice package. I'll just have to enjoy the few Sabres NBCSN games and highlights on social media, NHL Network, etc.. That sucks about Eichel and the other injuries. I think the Sabres will still have a tough time making a playoff run. Hopefully they can hang in there and have a chance for the 8th spot come spring time.
  18. I can get over Kap doing his kneeling thing...but i hate that it trickled down to our local area high schools (in MD). These knucklehead kids are kneeling during the anthem and really have no idea why they're doing it other than mimicking their "role model"
  19. Good. I'm coming up for this Bills game and can't wait to boo Kaepernick. I think he could provide a spark, but he also could be rusty. Ya just never know?!? I do know if the Bills defense plays ferocious like we know they can (especially at home)...there should be some potential for several turnovers from the Kap led offense.
  20. Teams win with different recipes. For the Bills offense, maybe it's high rushing numbers, some low risk passing along with a few Tyrod scrambles mixed in. Hey, we know he can hit the deep ball as well. I'm not caught up in passing yardage. I just want some wins and ball security from my QB. Obviously, accuracy, 3rd-down conversions, etc... will come along with the WINS.
  21. Great showing by Bills fans. Still good having a team back in LA,,,if nothing else for the sunny, beach shots when the telecast returns from commercial breaks.
  22. Don't love being heavy favorites here. The turnovers have been going in our favor this year and they gotta be diligent of that vs the 49ers. If SF leaves the game + in turnovers i bet they have a good chance to win. It's the NFL, anyone can beat anyone. One thing the Bills can control...play ferocious defense. Don't let SF get any momentum offensively.
  23. Tyrod's a winner in my book. I know he doesn't throw for a ton of yards unless he connects on a bomb, but his legs are tremendous. He got a couple huge 1st downs because of his escapability. That counts for something. There are some easy curl routes that would be easy pitch & catch plays with his arm. We don't call them much?!? Then players like Woods and Goodwin are always ripe for dropping a decent pass, thus hurting is passing yardage numbers..
  24. Hope he can help us out. but his favorite wings are lemon-pepper?!? no way man, that's some weak sauce.
  25. They both use Twitter to spew stuff that should be kept behind closed doors. I don't get it.
