  1. Maybe so. As long as they can keep Leipold and his staff here.
  2. Nice win by UB,.. pretty boring actually. They emptied the bench like 3 mins into the 3rd Qtr. That Patterson kid is an awesome RB. The Bulls have great depth at RB and last night was all about keeping the ball on the ground in those conditions. Ohio is playing their best ball right now and I think they beat Miami tonight. I *hope* Miami can pull an upset but not counting on it. It's bizarre that UB may have to go undefeated in the MAC to win the East. Winning at Ohio with all the chips on the line will be a tough game for sure. If Ohio wins at Miami and vs. UB, then I give them all the credit. Two tough games and they need em both.
  3. I also wanted Buf to draft Watson at the time... not one cell in my being wanted Mahomes. And clearly I failed to recognize a good talent there!
  4. I love the Bulls and they're having a great season. But i certainly wouldn't pick them to beat teams they are ranked ahead of like Penn St, Auburn, Florida or Oregon on a neutral field.. Not sure the basis of that USAToday poll other than wins/losses.
  5. I get what you're saying, but overall i don't think it will hamper the Bills ability to sign FA's too much. Players want $ and a chance to start. They will have that here. BUF has a young, big arm QB here and a commitment to get much better on offense. Also, the intangibles such as the "college like" atmosphere and BillsMafia has circulated around the league and nationally. Players enjoy being a part of that stuff. Not all, but some will want to come here. And the draft picks will have no choice in the matter.
  6. Why the hell would anyone do a 1 yard pattern,? Makes perfect sense to clobber a receiver and maybe get a deflection INT. Could not have worked out more perfectly for the Bears.
  7. Right about now, Chad "gonna spray this place with my AK" Kelly... is looking like a pretty good option.
  8. Sometimes i think it can be accidental. I used to sell some of my tickets on Craigslist and get payment through Paypal. I also had them listed on NFL Ticket exchange. Sometimes the buyer had me mail the hard tickets to them. I recall nearly forgetting to pull them off of ticket exchange. Once the barcode is re-issued, the hard tickets are useless. Which I think is the reason hard tix are getting phased out.
  9. Starting to lean towards the side of the fence that says they went 9-7 with a lot of the former regime's players. Now that they've had a chance to mold and shape the team the way THEY want, it's a disaster on the O side of the ball. That being said I give them a break due to the fact that two prominent O-linemen left the program. I want to give McDermott a mulligan this season since he is the head coach that helped break the drought. But all these blowout losses with zero offense.... I'm losing faith that he can get that side of the ball figured out.
  10. I was thinking about the D last night. You know behind the scenes those players are furious...but they have to put on a different face for the public of course. If McD was smart, he'd be having meetings with the defense only, and letting them know they are the unit that's holding the team together. He better be pumping them up ALOT.
  11. I posted the below from the college football board, (which about 10 people look at). So I'll say it again here. I think Anthony Johnson will go higher than expected...and he should be going to the Buffalo Bills. I know Dallas wants him and many others. The Bills should not be passing up on any more high NFL draft talent like this in their own backyard. The guy is polished & smooth, he catches the ball with his hands and he makes all kinds of contested receptions. His size and speed are fine. He knows how to get open and you can just see he is an NFL talent. If the Bills pick in the #3-5 range maybe they trade down a few spots, acquire more draft pick(s), and take AJ closer to where he is projected,,,,mid-1st rounder. But if there's a run on WR's it wouldn't surprise me if he's picked in top 15.
  12. He ripped Cam Newton for being a lousy QB that affected his stats. The same Cam who threw for 400+ yards in his first ever start in the NFL. Can you imagine what he thinks of the Bills offense and QB situation? Lol. He probably can't even believe Buffalo is in the same league as Carolina. But anyway, he is all that was said above and I can't wait until he's gone.
  13. Let's put it this way. I was bummed out when they released Rod Streater and Nick O'Leary. Ugh.
  14. I guarantee if you're sitting in a room talking candidly with the Pegulas, they Did not expect to be THIS BAD. This is an embarrassment and hurts the Bills brand.
  15. I agree. Although when Matt Patricia used that word to admonish the sloucher in this press conference...that was pretty hilarious. I gotta hand it to him for creative way to use "respect the process"
  16. It's brutal. I had mine for 12 years and often had to list them on all the secondary sites and craigslist for well under face. I wouldn't list for single digits, i'd just give them away. A couple times I did donate my tix to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo. They are appreciative and sent me a nice thank you letter. This season the Redskins have somehow taken control of their secondary tickets and they either get sold at a reasonable price or the seat goes empty. They first had to admit that there is no season ticket waiting list. But they did not want to see anymore $5 tickets on Seatgeek or Stubhub or wherever.
  17. I haven't always made the smartest decisions, but dumping my season tickets this past summer just prior to this season was a beauty.
  18. I've stood behind the man. He's a solid D coordinator. But I don't feel like he will be the guy to bring an innovative, good offense here. I don't think he will be the guy to develop Josh Allen in any way. I don't think he will be the guy who knows how to find an offensive coordinator who will elevate the entire staff and quality of play on that side of the ball. Something struck me when McD was doing his coaches show before the New England game. They were asking him about Belicheck and all his success. McD made the point that Belicheck hung in there (with his vision?) and got it right the 2nd time around. I assumed he meant his second head coaching stop. I just left that point thinking yup, this is McD's first stop and it will surely end in failure and his faith will lead him to believe he will get it right in his second stop. I do feel they should stick with Beane. He's a smart guy, and he knows what went wrong here. I'm fairly confident he will properly handle the upcoming draft and going after free agents.
  19. May as well pull for NE to win the Super Bowl. Brady and Bill are so competitive. They may finally leave if they can go out on top. Anything short of winning it all they probably come back
  20. I agree with EJ. His last few games with the Raiders he looked like a real QB. Not a complete joke like the guy that started here today.
  21. Peterman is going to get released. He has to. If nothing else to exorcise some demons surrounding the offense. But seriously, he won’t ever be starting another NFL game again. He will be lucky to get another 3rd string gig.
  22. No way! He had 31 completions today. That’s a windfall by Buffalo Bills standards. Never mind the 3 picks (never his fault) and the 45 QB rating.
  23. Could the Bills win? Of course. They have NFL players and a couple W’s already. However it seems bizarre for any national media person to pick them to win straight up, especially with Peterman at the helm. I’d take Buf +10 at home any day. But I wouldn’t bet much on straight up
  24. Meh, I’ve never liked Bradford. Let’s just stick with the Peterman and hope Allen gets healthy soon
