They deserve more winning, yes. But i guarantee that TP and his family want to win more than any of us combined. Winning is not easy. I'm frustrated too but still grateful they bought the teams.

I'm grateful. They saved our sports teams and added infrastructure to the city. Right now I'm just happy to be here... and hoping the teams get better quickly.

A QB coaching job for Jared Goff. That's gotta be tougher than taking over the #1 Rushing attack in the NFL. Although your chances of improving Goff are decent since the bar is so low. Your chances of screwing up the Bills rushing game is higher since it can't get a better ranking.

Kelly never met the man before this hiring. So there's no possible way he's going to publicly anoint McD as the best hire ever. That would be stupid. What Kelly needs to do is not talk smack about our QB. That was a total douche move when he made those recent comments about Tyrod.

I like what I've heard and seen about McDermott. Seems like a real up and coming head coach star in this league. I have such a better feeling about this than I had when Rex had his presser. I just hope the fans and Pegula's are patient and give him the full 4-5 years or whatever it is. This first go-around on Coordinators may not be exactly the perfect fit. We'll see but I want McDermott to establish his culture which is obviously much more professional than Rexys. If he has to change coordinators at some point than so be it.

Terry is probably like a lot of us. Lousy public speaker..gets nervous, doesn't think quick on his feet...he prefers to speak in a small room with people who he's comfortable with or one on one. The guy is a billionaire. At this point in his life I wouldn't be taking Toastmaster classes either. He is what he is.

I agree. McDermott knows more than anyone how challenging it is to stop a guy like Tyrod from moving the pocket, extending plays...hitting dimes downfield, etc.. There are several teams that would make Tyrod their #1 free agent signee if he becomes available. The Bills and McDermott cannot be dumb enough to let Tyrod walk out of the building without a significant upgrade in-house come early March. I don't give a crap what Jim Kelly says.

I'm not inspired at all by the retreads. There are some very bright young minds out there. No one knew who Sean McVay was when he was promoted from a tight ends coach to OC for Washington. I would not mind at all if McDermott tapped someone who we have not heard of yet.

Absolutely. That is my hope. He is overseeing McDermotts defense. Let's face it, Sean M. Was hired here to fix the D so he will have a big say over the play calls and the scheme. He knows if the D fails, his head coaching career will be short lived.

This OC thing has me worried. Already the No. 1 rushing attack has taken a hit with the loss of A. Lynn calling the shots. If Tyrod goes, then I may not even renew my season tix. I hope they can find a bright innovative guy... but I feel like I need to start getting used to 17 points per game average

My buddy is a big Tampa Bay fan. He said Frazier is the worst DC they've seen down there in a long time. He is surprised McDermott hired him and Leslie won't last more than 2 seasons. OK that being said, if Whaley provides good players I think most of these coaches will suddenly look a lot better, a lot smarter. We'll see.

Some fans in Baltimore hate this move. They see Roman as a guy whose system numbers are inflated because he has used running QB's. Flacco is obviously not that.

This sucks for San Diego but for the hard core Chargers fans...at least the 2 cities are only a two hour drive apart. I imagine their fan base in LA will still have plenty of San Diego fans making the drive.

You had the feeling that McDermott was going to be head coach for someone in 2017. You had the feeling Anthony Lynn will not be head coach for any team in 2017 unless it was Buffalo. I don't hate this hire. Seems like Buffalo went out and convinced a fairly hot commodity to sign up here. The easy thing to do would have been to hire Lynn and maintain that continuity. We all would have said.."they couldn't do better"?

I have to admit, if the Bills rolled out Vance Joseph as their new Head coach I'd rip them to shreds. Since Elway and Denver hired him...Vance seems much more attractive as a head coach. Just goes to show how highly regarded Denver is as a top tier organization.

So if Elway wants Tyrod, and McCoy is being lured to Denver to be OC...that would lend to the theory that McCoy would be fine with Tyrod as well. So if McCoy stays linked with McDermott ...McCoy may be a Tyrod guy and wants to coach him.

Good to see the Carolina board is happy for McD and sad that he's leaving their organization. Seems like their fanbase all like and respect the guy.

Ha. Very true. I would trust Elway's judgement over anyone on this board.. Tyrod would be a plug n play QB for them. Instant playoffs withTT that D and home field advantage.

If the Bills let TT walk out that door with no better option...(and i mean a very good option).. I will be furious.

Interesting to listen to McDermott speak about D. Seems like a well spoken guy that is confident, I can see why he was a candidate for several teams..
