So what happens to Overdorf when the new GM comes in? I say they gotta get rid of him. He's still a piece of the old culture and regime that they seem to be moving away from.

It was too much for me, but hey it was good for McKinley's "brand". I mean geez, he got interviews on ESPN and NFLN and they spent the entire Bills "on the clock" time talking about his story. After the Buffalo pick, they spent about a minute talking about our guy then immediately went to discussion about what Dallas was going to do with their pick.

Kansas City took a big chance taking Mahomes imo. If I'm trading up to #10, I would've taken Deshaun Watson. I think he will be the better Pro QB between the two guys.

Speculation is that the Bills were targeting Lattimore before the Chiefs trade. So they still got a solid CB at 27 and got the extra picks. Nice value since we all know they needed a DB

Kiper likes the pick, Gruden loves it and Mayock thinks he's a very solid, well rounded CB. If those guys all like pick than so do I.

On the flip side how about being a Chiefs fan? You now have zero first round pick in 2018 for moving up for Mahomes. It's a huge risk. I'd be bummed not having a 2018 first rounder for moving up to #10.

Other than showing up to his Pro day, the Bills haven't shown much interest publicly in Chad Kelly. Probably a smoke screen thing. Keep other teams thinking they are disinterested. I mean Uncle Jim was a cocky SOB back in the day too...and look how he turned out. and his nephew grew up wearing Bills gear. Chad is talented for sure and would be totally invested in a reboot to his reputation and career w/ Buffalo. I say grab him.

You will see the remaining ESPN people having to branch out....like Adam Schefter as a sideline reporter on NBA telecasts.

Crazy stuff. Imagine the new coach/GM coming in. In short order they will have to learn all the aspects of the roster and AHL players,,the good, the bad...preparation for the expansion draft, scouting combine in Buffalo and the regular NHL draft....and of course free agency and constructing a winning roster for 2017/2018. I gotta believe these positions will be filled by experienced NHL people...not newbies.

I like MG, kinda' hope they keep him but won't freak out if he goes. I used to think RB's were a "dime a dozen" and anyone could get 100 yds with 20 carries...but don't think that anymore. Too many unproductive RB's litter the league and as other posters have mentioned, the Bills have had a few. I think as much as the Bills hit it big signing TD mike, MG may have hit it good being with the Bills. I'm not sure his amazing level of productivity will carry over to the Pats. We'll see. I was also concerned last year seeing MG get hammered several times going up the middle. He got concussed in preseason....and it looked like he got his bell rung several times during the season. Not sure how his body will hold up to carrying a bigger load. But maybe that's the part of me who realizes he will go to new England so I'm trying to think of some negative things...

I like it....especially as a ST holder. I'd rather have a schedule loaded w/ Sept, Oct, Nov home games. It's been years since the Bills seemed like a dominant cold weather home team. Pittsburgh & Miami had no problem moving the ball and scoring in December of this past season. I know the stats say otherwise but when you look at the situation (records, no playoffs pressure) and opponents....the December home advantage is not all it's cracked up to be. If McDermott and Whaley build a dominant defense then bad weather home games will be sweet. Teams will get smothered in Orchard Park.

The Pegulas can't get playoff results on the ice or field...but they sure have been successful at getting big time events down there. and developing the area.

I don't care for the person much, but can't deny his football ability. He was supposed to be the next great Clemson QB but an injury and off the field nonsense finished him. Ole Miss gave him a shot and he totally made that team an offensive force. Something tells me if he can get over the injury hurdle, he will be a good pro QB.

Ugh, this is awful. He's such a good RB.

This is not unique to UB but it stinks. Anyway, UB should rethink it's entire athletic mission. They would be very competitive, quickly, in M/W hockey and M/W Lacrosse. Just not sure how they could pull that off and continue to field FBS football and D-1 Hoops.

Yeah when i glanced at the name Nate, i immediately thought Odomes. Those were my prime younger years of going to Bills games.
