The gap between Lamar and Allen isn’t large enough to give Jackson a 3rd MVP over Allen’s zero. Especially if the Bills finish with 2 fewer losses in their meaningful games. Again. Detroit and KC are 0-2 vs Buffalo and 28-1 against everyone else. Argh. i wish i didn’t care this much!

The Ravens have been playing meaningful games for a while now trying to catch and surpass Pittsburgh. Buffalo wrapped up with 5 games remaining and I just don't think the urgency is there. It's very different from last season when the final 6-7 Bills games were played with extreme urgency right until the clock hit 0:00 each game. The season was on the line each week. So Allen racked up great stats until the end of the Miami game and got the 2 seed. I thought after a sloppy Rams game, McDermott and the guys made a concerted effort to get back on track vs Detroit. They did a good job there. I think after a sloppy Pats game, and a very unhappy McDermott, the players will ramp it up this week in the rain. They will play a solid game against the Jets, get a big W, Allen will have some good stats,,,and no one of any importance will play week 18. Will that be enough for the MVP? maybe.

Right before our game last week I checked the mock drafts and they had the Pats taking Travis Hunter at #3. Maye to Hunter could be a pretty solid combo over the next 5 years if that happens.

As my teenage son tells me....the glazing of Lamar is heavy this week.

Lamar and Mahomes are playing w supreme confidence right now. For whatever reason the Bills went through the motions last week on offense. They wanted to keep it vanilla but they also didn’t execute the vanilla well. Id like to see Allen and the O get their mojo back this week. Impose their will. A win and it’s the final dress rehearsal for playoffs.

This is likely the starters final game before playoffs. As others have said, Allen needs to stuff the stat sheet vs the Jets. If he does, he will have a great chance to win MVP. We don’t want to string together 3 and outs during the first Qtr again.

True, and yet somehow Lamar is #1 with a gaudy 121.6 QB rating while Allen is way down at #10 with a 101.2 rating. I don’t know if voters will factor in the crappy late season Orchard Park weather or the Derrick Henry affect on Lamar’s passing numbers

I need at least 2 probably 3 full seasons to come to a conclusion. Worthy has come on lately and Keon had the one splash play vs Detroit but the Bills sort of shut things down vs NE in a weird game.

The Chiefs and Ravens both looked great today. One of them or the Bills are the only AFC team that will end up in New Orleans. National observers probably have Buffalo #3 on that list as of today based on how the Bills looked last Sunday.

The Bills need to be a real stubborn “out” much like Cincinnati was the year they went to the SB. Their D was sticky in coverage, and they were opportunistic with takeaways. the Bills can’t allow teams to just freely roam down the field and “hope” we get a takeaway. Gotta be aggressive. On the offensive side i think the Bills can outscore anyone with Allen leading the charge.

I think last week was the week to take the points (which i did). I believe McD will be super charged for this game. Maybe the final dress rehearsal for the playoffs. I wish it wasn’t going to be rainy, but i think the Bills still will come out and make amends for last week.

Lamar has had a better season than 2023 no question. But they aren’t giving him a 3rd MVP. Derrick Henry has an amazing 1,783 yards (5.8 avg). This might be his best season ever?! He takes a lot of defensive coordinators attention away from Lamar. Henry might be in the MVP discussion if Saquon didn’t have a ridiculous season himself with 1,838 yards (5.9 avg). Oh and by KC smashing Pittsburgh on the road, it makes the Bills win over the Chiefs even more impressive and makes Baltimores win last week vs the Steelers less imo. So Lamar had a chance to beat top notch teams KC and Philly, and instead they lost to them and the scary Raiders/Browns. I think in the end, if the Bills O is lackluster this weekend, and Josh is passed over, they will give it to Barkley.

Is it even possible to go from a gigantic -1000 betting favorite on December 16th to not winning the MVP….without having lost a game? That would be incredible. But as Bills fans we have seen our share of the rug pulled out from under us.

I don’t know, RG3 has already proclaimed that Lamar has won the MVP so i’m not sure if voting is still open?!? After the Detroit game Cowherd on his Monday show said Allen is the best player he’s ever seen. Then 7 days later he said Lamar should be MVP (before todays game). It sorta feels like Josh has to re-open the voting and win it back this Sunday!

Allen would be handing off and then sitting on the bench starting the 4th. Like he did vs SF, or in earlier games this season.

That's all we don't need is for the Ravens D to start jelling. They've played better recently.

The Bills really need to come out and execute vs NYJ. You see it every year when teams peak early and sort of fizzle out at the end. It's hard to flip the switch back on. I can see resting key guys week 18 but man, they cannot sleep walk through the Jets game. Clinching 5 games early and how to keep the momentum rolling is something they have to be mindful of down the stretch here.

Henry vultured Lamar's TD. lol almost got one on the Zay Flowers catch. I guess they split the team MVP on that drive.

They just said Lamar looking to clinch his 3rd MVP today... RG3 said he locks it up with a good performance vs Houston. Did i hear this pregame show correctly or am I having a nightmare?!?

My gosh,lol,,, RG3 said on the Netflix pregame show that if Jackson looks great today and gets a few TD's he locks up the MVP. His reason is based on this being a game viewed worldwide and having better statistics across the board than Allen. and the Bills have two blah games left against losing teams that few will see. His reasoning is so lame... he's simply ignoring the teams records, the outstanding play of Allen all season, tremendous National TV games vs the #1 seeds, 11 game of 30+ points, etc.. All the games Allen sat early and didn't stat pad, etc..

Bills have to get the Ravens at home if they meet up. 2 seed is huge but I suppose Houston could do us a big favor today.
