The Patriots seem a year ahead of schedule and they are in this honeymoon of winning phase. There's no secret I'm scared of Mike Vrabel, I've been saying this since he was coach of Tennessee and when the Pat's were woo'ing him to be their coach. I kind of expected to lose that game in part because of Vrabel, Maye and our home winning streak was due to expire. Fact is, they beat the Saints, Titans and Browns....three teams with very poor offense when you look at NFL norms. They are kind of peaking right now and will come back to earth a bit.

I can kind of commiserate with Josh on this. When i was dating my wife she thought I was the MVP. After marriage she sometimes looks at me like I'm the NY Giants version of Daniel Jones.

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

They have the bye week, but we have the revenge angle from the first meeting. They will cancel each other out. -
That pass he threw late in the game vs Baltimore to Josh Palmer. The one down the left sidelines perfectly over the outstretched LB.. I don't think he can make that throw these last 3 games. The accuracy, the touch, the slump is too wonky.

I agree, but to break it down as simple as possible, he's just not accurate enough standing there not moving. Even the little short and intermediate throws can go a bit wild. Can he be elite at that as we go on? I don't know.

There's a few things that bother me about Allen right now. I've never thought he was a great pocket passer, but he's been ineffective lately. He's not anticipating guys breaking open but instead mostly throwing to stationary receivers not guys on the run. He's back to throwing frozen ropes no touch on the ball whatsoever. He's scared to throw picks and it's in his head. When QBs get into trouble they tend to use their legs to move the chains and get going. You don't see Josh running at all really... is that because he's injured and doesn't want to take a hit? is he scared to fumble? has he lost a step nearing 30 years old? He is allowed to slide, he doesn't have to initiate contact on runs. When you re-watch those games last season, his best games he's running around, throwing while scrambling to WRs breaking open, it's great stuff. I'm just not seeing the same guy. His magic is when he does that. He had one throw like that yesterday, to Hawes when he ran up in the pocket away from pressure. That was a nice instinctive play. Being anchored in the pocket is not his game.

Someone should make sure to point Josh to this thread. So he can understand what's wrong with him.

Pats vs Colts AFC Championship game? That would piss me off lol... still don't think the Pats have paid their dues long enough from their amazing B & B run of success. -
Of course, but the Bills Oline is their best unit and if they execute their run blocking it's still hard to stop Cook. I know people are like Leave Cook out there,.. but he should be spelled a bit. There's just no way he will be 100% healthy come playoff time if Davis and Ty continue to be so unproductive.

The “Hailee is hurting Josh’s game” stuff is weird. Men and women get married, they evolve.

Dang, just saw their schedule. We get KC and Philly,,, they get the Titans and Skatteboo-less Giants -
Some people are saying it’s Josh, something is wrong with him. Some say it’s the WRs.. he has zero chemistry with Coleman and Moore, some say it’s the play calling. I think is a combo of all of it, but it’s pretty obvious Josh’s game has regressed quite a bit from last season. The national media always said the hits would take a toll by the time he hit 30-ish years old. I mean maybe he really is a step slower nowadays, which is enough to get you in trouble.
