I genuinely don't understand the energy or outcry at ~30 seconds of showing Taylor Swift in broadcast.
I don't listen to her music and I have no skin in the game here, but it is bizarre how worked up some folks are getting.
Most of us don't care one bit. It's the loudmouths on social media and talking heads that make a big deal out of it.

FYI for anyone interested Josh is once again paired with Keith Mitchell and will be playing alongside Tom Brady and Keegan Bradley.
The west coast to be hit with a couple rounds of very wet "atmospheric rivers" this week and later in the weekend. Looks cool, cloudy and rainy at Pebble Beach for the golf event.

I don't care that he skips the Pro Bowl, it's not even a game anymore. I do care that he's not voted to the AFC team. After Allen's career ends, like all his QB colleagues... all their NFL honors will be tallied up and placed on their resumes. Josh will have like 1 Pro Bowl, no MVP's, no nothing. It's silly but sad for the career he will have. The guy is a one man offense.

So the other day I was on Spotrac looking at some Bills contracts. Looked at Josh. Then the thought hit me. What if Josh gets Really frustrated here. He could force a trade out of here in 2026 when he's 30. Even easier the following year
I don’t know the circumstances that will lead to it but i’ve always thought he’d be playing for the 49ers or Rams by his early 30’s. But hey he’s gonna give it his all for the Bills in the prime years of his career, especially his running like a madman years.

My friend who roots for another team always ribs me about this. Claims Allen not attending the Pro Bowl even as an alternate upsets the sports gods.

All these concepts and just look at Kansas City. They have solid trenches. They play tough D especially in the red zone, and Mahomes does what’s necessary to win that specific game. Vs Baltimore he backed off and said his D was playing well and he just didn’t want to make a mistake and turn it over.
The Bills have a winning culture. They will Win, i don’t think any massive scheme changes are needed. Play better D in the playoffs and execute better in crunch time

They had a nice improvement year in 2022 but this season the Lions really exploded on the scene at 12-5.
There's always great storylines in the NFL, but next season it will be really interesting to follow how Detroit handles being one of the NFC teams being hunted by everyone else.

where’s the depth here. Every Bills injury is like the world is coming to an end. And they were really healthy on offense for the most part all season. They lost Damien Harris, not a great loss afterall, Knox for a few games and Gabe in the playoffs unfortunately.

I went to the Commanders' board and there is a lot more to all of this. He told them this while the Commanders' owner and GM were on the plane en route to Detroit to interview him. This after last year essentially accepting the Panthers job and then deciding to stay in Detroit at the last second. This is not a good look for him. Albright is reporting that he is asking for $15 million per year. FWIW, I feel for those fans. It reads like a drought-ear coaching search thread around here.
Not quite Josh McDaniels level at Indy but he’s getting closer. Definitely not a great look. And there are no guarantees of anything. The Lions may have stiffer competition next season and injuries are always around the corner. Could be tough to repeat.

I am so envious of those Detroit speed guys... that is such a weapon, and they are good players not just gimmicky.
-
Lot's of NFL media heads were wrong about this one. Good for Detroit. Guarantees nothing but certainly better than having to find a new OC.
-
I already put $50 on the Chiefs to win. Better QB, better defense, better kicker... Seems like a reasonably good bet.

This thread is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. But I'll play along. The AFC should have a secondary tournament, KC not allowed to be involved. So that way Allen, Lamar, Lawrence, Burrow, Stroud, Herbert...will all have a chance at a trophy 🙄

Assuming all are 100% healthy in this list.
Mahomes
Allen
Burrow
Stafford
Purdy
Goff
Hurts
Lamar
Herbert
Cousins

It's sad watching & listening to the completely different national takes on Jackson & Allen's games against KC. Most of the talking heads hate that they have to admit that Jackson played poorly but man are they coming up with excuses none of them would give Allen.
FWIW, I lurked over at the KC message boards and they think the best QBs in the AFC after Mahomes are Allen then Burrow... then Lawrence, Stroud and Lamar 6th at best. So at least those fans know the real deal.

And in ten years when the NFC is "dominant" again?
This. It's all cyclical. Since a lot of the AFC have their QBs, the new batch of rookie QBs are starting to head over to the NFC. Carolina screwed up as it appears C.J. Stroud should be in the NFC not Bryce Young but oh well, what are you gonna do. Caleb and Drake Maye are likely headed to the NFC.

Why do the Bills always play this song on gamedays? The song is 20yrs old and, as far as I’m aware, has zero relevance to Buffalo.
In my opinion, playing this song comes off as tacky, outdated and simply put: embarrassing.
1. Why do we play this song?
2. Who is responsible for selecting the playlist on game days.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I think of this song more for Ravens game days. They've featured the Seven Nation Army tune for as long as I can remember going to that Stadium, which is many years. I don't recall it being used in Buffalo until well after. So I think the Bills jumped on the bandwagon which many teams have done.

Definitely lake Erie since other cities near the great lakes have rings (Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Chicago). I think Dan Campbell needs to act like a coach sometimes and not a player in his calls.

Why did the Ravens run the ball only 16 times against the Chiefs? Didn't they watch the Bills game to see the success that the Bills running game was having?
The National talking heads are giving credit to Spags. Apparently KC's plan was to take away the Ravens ground attack and force Lamar to be a QB. So Lamar throws 37 times which is too many and he inexplicably doesn't take off and scramble nearly enough. He could have created more especially in the 2nd half when the Baltimore D held the line.

I like the hire. You need to pair a good rushing attack along with Josh Allen's skill set. They need some explosive plays in a game but sometimes the opponent does a good job taking that away. Kansas City is the gold standard and they generate some big plays from Pacheco runs and often just some catch and runs from Kelce or whoever.
-
Why it took Purdy until the 2nd half to take off and use his legs as a weapon, I have no idea? But he did a fantastic job getting away from trouble and getting huge first downs, in addition to some clutch throws. Lamar on the other hand, should have done that but didn't, for whatever reason.

IMO Campbell should have tried the FGs instead of going for it on 4th down. In games like this, playoffs, you get points.
Totally agree. At 24-10 they did NOT NEED a first down. A FG makes it 27-10 and changes the flow and momentum.

Josh did not blow anything. He's the ONLY reason Buffalo had a shot in that game.
That being said the correct game strategy was to try to get the first down over the next two plays and bleed the clock dry. Hopefully score a TD or a closer FG as time nears 0:00. That strategy is 100% coaching and they should bear the responsibility.

These kind of posts crack me up. All the people that say NO, I'm not watching...yet post on an NFL team message board. Gimme a break, of course we're all watching. We are football fans.
