  1. Yep. KC rushed the hell out of Stroud and sacked him a bunch including the game clinching 4th and 10 by Karlaftis. The Bills Oline will definitely have to control things in the run game. Too many obvious passing situations like in the 2nd half vs Baltimore won't be good. I know Josh is more capable than Stroud but good teams like the Chiefs can find a way to hem him in.
  2. Ty has the best hands on the team other than Shakir,,, they should use him for sure.
  3. I heard on an NFL show today, Chenal is expected to be the spy on Allen. He is not keeping up with Joshua.
  4. I'm in this camp. There are always guys on other teams that annoy us. What about Tyreek waving bye to Poyer and Hyde on a big TD catch?! Too often in the past we lament that the Bills are a bunch of nice guys and need more edge. And I'm sure they still are nice guys off the field. But players like Hollins and Anderson, Spencer Brown, etc.. they are getting in people's faces and may even cross the line. It got us all the way to the AFC Championship game. Let's go!!
  5. There is such an outcry nationally there will be some kind of over-correction in this game. There prob will be some judgement stuff not called on both teams.
  6. He’s a Bills fan this week.
  7. Haven't see Josh go off script much these past 2 games, they've been very deliberate conservative calls. In high scoring games vs Rams and Detroit it seemed like he was throwing on the run, scrambling all over the place. But of course with that style of play is more chance for turnovers. I wonder what we see Sunday night?
  8. From Warren Sharp football analysis: https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/chiefs-referee-playoffs-penalties-2024-divisional-round/ In their pursuit of being the first team ever to win three straight NFL Championships, the Kansas City Chiefs have played 11 playoff games since 2021. In those 11 games, how many times have the Chiefs had more penalties than their opponents? Zero. In those 11 games, how many times have the Chiefs opponents had more penalties than the Chiefs? Ten. That’s correct, and I triple-checked because it was initially tough to believe when I first heard this stat. 10 games in which opponents had more penalties. 0 games in which the Chiefs had more penalties. I was curious how the Chiefs fared in these metrics in the regular season. If they are avoiding penalties and also drawing them on opponents because they are simply a sound, well coached team, we should see evidence of this in the regular season. Out of 68 regular season games during this sample (since 2021): 27 games the Chiefs had less penalty yardage (39.7%) 38 games the Chiefs had more penalty yardage (55.9%) And then in the playoffs (out of 11 games): 10 games the Chiefs had less penalty yardage (90.9%) 1 game the Chiefs had more penalty yardage (9.1%) In the regular season: 36 games the Chiefs had fewer penalties (52.9%) 25 games the Chiefs had more penalties (36.8%( And then in the playoffs: 10 games the Chiefs had fewer penalties (90.9%) 0 games the Chiefs had more penalties (0.0%)
  9. Kinda weird that the Bills gave up early 7-0 leads to both Denver and Baltimore. If the Bills grab the early lead vs KC i might be nervous about that!
  10. I feel like Our offensive line and RBs are probably the Bills best position groups. They really need to control things out there. KC will try to ball control us to death and then take their shot with Worthy or Kelce. The D is gonna need to hold on for dear life in this game.
  11. Please no more quick sideways passes to the tight ends. That should be Shakir only.
  12. It should be easier to run on the Chiefs than Baltimore. You wouldn’t think so but the Ravens run defense is better and shut us down in the 2nd half.
  13. When’s the last time the Chiefs were the ones to make game killing mistakes that cost them a playoff game? hasn’t been lately as they’ve won a record 8 straight (without missing the playoffs). They are the masters of limiting mistakes and doing anything they need to do, to win, even by a point. and they make all their FGs too which goes under the radar.
  14. I pulled up google maps and was looking at the 1,027 mile drive and then Seatgeek. It’s tempting.
  15. Is he a leader of men? if so he could be decent. If he’s just coordinator they are slamming into the head coach role it won’t work. But if he truly is a solid leader and culture builder, and brings along some of the right guys, he could have a decent future there.
  16. Would you all feel more comfortable if this game was in Orchard Park? or do you believe this is how it’s meant to be. If we’re going to get to the big game, it has to be through Mahomes and Reid at Arrowhead? Ive always felt this version of KC is an excellent road team. Maybe even better on the road than home. I’m ok playing them there. I think our guys will relish it.
  17. Was listening to Mad Dog Russo on Sirius this afternoon. He had a caller with a deep southern accent saying he’s praying that the Bills win. He said he won’t watch the Super Bowl if Kansas City makes it again. It was funny and Russo agreed and says he’s praying with him. People are really sick of the chiefs
  18. I think if you gave Roger Goodell and some Park Avenue NFL Execs truth serum they probably would like to see Buffalo in the Super Bowl. Bills-Eagles or Bills-Washington would be refreshing for everyone. The ratings will be great regardless, but there is definitely some Chiefs fatigue nationally, and let's be honest if you aren't a KC fan no one gives a crap about their 3-peat. The Chiefs are currently on the longest playoff win streak (8) without missing the playoffs in NFL history. I do not believe this ref crew will get a call from the corporate office to "go easy" on KC and stick it to Buffalo. But I've said it all along, these refs are human and they tend to favor the home teams with calls or non-calls. So advantage Chiefs even if it's an unconscious bias by the refs.
  19. Just checking the radar seems like the band has been slamming the city and airport area to points north into Clarence, Akron, NF, Tonawanda, Lockport, etc... Orchard Park/Hamburg appears to be out of the bullseye at least this morning and afternoon so far.
  20. I said in the other thread, the Chiefs almost always win the penalty battle in their playoff games. If the Bills go from 1 penalty this past Sunday to 8 or 9 at Arrowhead I'm gonna have a meltdown. That would not make sense unless it's all obvious procedural stuff.
  21. I heard one broadcaster mention that KC has been hit with fewer penalties than their opponents in 8 of their last 9 playoff games. I think the refs let some stuff go last Sunday night on both clubs, but if suddenly the Bills go from be flagged one time to 9 times at Arrowhead I will have a huge beef with the refs.
  22. I think the OP is basically trying to say this is a House money game because they've exceeded expectations. Maybe in 2020 it was. Now it's not. This is the Championship of the AFC and it's a must-win.
  23. Yeah after watching Laporta make that diving one handed stab TD catch on Saturday night i was hoping for a Kincaid legacy game vs the Ravens. Didn't exactly pan out lol.
  24. I'm concerned about Worthy. He's going to get behind our guys. Mahomes missed him on a bomb TD by like half yard vs Houston. I think he just missed him on a bomb in our game. They are going to connect one of these times. The Chiefs offense has been a little off most of the season but they have some guys.
  25. I think Mahomes has gotten his calls, but in general, especially the playoffs I feel like the home team is gifted some calls, or beneficial non-calls. We only had 1 penalty on Sunday, and it was a bad call. anyone think the Bills had no other infractions in that game? I saw a couple that were let go. I'm hoping that's the case in KC. I feel like in our game there was a correction of sorts and the refs let them play more.
