  1. AD, just because your a known anti-Pillaropian, doesn't mean he won't be great in the NFL. I've seen him alot and I tell you, he makes holes that I can run through. Pancakes blocks on just about every passing series. Once saw him pancake a linebacker and D-limeman at once.
  2. well, lets just say he cuss'es like a sailer, and I think he speaks good english when he feels the need to but the rest of the time, it's tough to tell what language he's speaking. With all the grunting and saliva spewing....he kind of looks like a talking bull!
  3. I'm from Canada and what they are reporting here is that the Bills have already met with him. They have made a couple of visits up here and this came personally from Olaf in a radio interview. The story is that he is raw, but truly, one of the best raw talents for an o-lineman. His freakish combination of size and speed make him suitable for just about any position on the o-line. He is a giant, he makes mike Williams look like a small man. I pray we get him, imagine Willis running behind big olaf.
  4. yep, that's me....checking email, just checking out a site for a few seconds which turn into minutes, etc. then I found hours of my day are gone into this vacuum. That's why I think I need to go cold turkey. No TBD first thing in the morning, etc. Wait till I get home. No checking yahoo accounts with my morning cofee, leaving email off and only checking it at certain times of the day. The first step is admitting you have a problem!
  5. Has anyone else done this. Seriously, surfing the internet during work has become a huge distraction for me. I want to really excel at my new job and part of my plan is zero internet time during the day. Has anyone else done anything like this?I will have internet access...but it is a self imposed ban. Any thougths?
  6. I agree with Where the Buffalo Roam....if you can't do the job, it's tough to get people to follow. Know how to do everyone's job. It's tough, but I think it is necessary. I liken it to sports. Who are the leaders you would follow on your sports teams? Think of the attributes they showed and if you can display those attributes, people will follow you.
  7. I agree. And I hope that Willis is the real deal, because I think Henry proved in his first few years he was pretty good. Sure he has some warts, but I think he's still a pretty good back. Willis looked good in the time he played. But one hit is all it takes.
  8. Yep, RJ has just about everything going for him, except he couldn't feel the pass rush. Well, he'll do hot chicks for the next 20 years and find ways to spend his $20M while others on an internet bulletin board insult him. Yah, I'm sure he cares.
  9. Are Mechanics tools deductible for tax purposes in Canada?
  10. Jester, I was going to mention you as I knew you were a runner. That's a shame what happened. I don't really know what to say, but I don't think this is the end for you and your running. When I run, and I'm not competitive or anything, I run against myself and no one else. So what if your not at your personal best times anymore, run for yourself and the positive effects you feel once you can run again. That's the best thing about running, it's a solitarity acitivity and I even leave my running watch at home now.
  11. I run, been relatively injury free thus far, but battled a calf strain medial something or another...but I'm back on the mend. I run 3-4 times a week, 10km or so. My biggest problem is keeping the weight on so I also have to do weights as well to keep some upper body bulk and keep the pecs nice and tight. I find I cannibalize alot of muscle when I run alot and I'm not a huge eater anymore, so I really have to moderate my running. I've always been meaning to get more into squats and deadlifts, but they seem to slow me down on my run days, but I plan on doing more of them.
  12. Isn't this like the Islanders ice. Good ol' Islanders!
  13. she is way way way hotter.
  14. ssshhhh....don't tell everyone that. How do you think I get on the internet for Free...I have a wireless lap top and have about 5 signals to chose from home. Don't ruin it for us free loaders. And no need for the morality police to pipe up about this. I know, I'm going straight to hell for stealing internet signals.
  15. I'm 31 dating a hot 19 year old. We started dating when she was 18. She'll be 20 in May....damn...won't be a teen anymore!
  16. Boxer...great all around dog. Better than a nannie around kids. Kids be rough with them all day long, boxer doesn't care. And when they're done playing with the kids, they'll be on guard dog duty. They don't bark alot either. Great dispositions...said to be the only dogs with a sense of humour.
  17. how do you have 69 posts in 1 day? Is he working?
  18. what...didn't the Ravens just win a SB with nothing but defence?
  19. Understanding the game would help... ...the stretchers were used to get players off the field to insure there are not unnecessary lengthy stoppages (but I guess as NFL fans, we're use to that). Soccer wanted to keep the action moving, so if your hurt, for real, or for fake, a stretcher would come out and move you off the field. You would not be able to get back on the field until the next stoppage in play. The intent was to either get fakers to get up when they saw the stretcher coming or move them off the field and have their team suffer and play 1 man short.
  20. shite...but then we have Razor Shazor....this is getting tougher than I though.....
  21. Josh Bullocks second...because Bullocks is fun to say. (balls in British speak)
  22. Roscoe...so we can call him Roscoe P. Coltrain. Hey, don;t we have a poster that goes by that. I draft soley on name value. Peerless was sweet. Too bad he was shite. Mortified when we drafted a guy name LOSE-man (but I hope he's good!)
