  1. I think the FS spot has been shown to be ok for those over 30 (a la Rod Woodsen for the Ravens). Our lack of a pass rush exacerbates the over 30 part.
  2. I think all of us here are hoping for the number 3 pick. That way someone will be willing to overpay (a la NY Giants for Manning) for whoever is number 3, and we can add some draft picks. I'm of the opinion that we can find a big plug DT in FA, and possibly get a DE first (the N.C. State Guy they are comparing to Peppers) and an OT or DT second.
  3. He's been making his own bomb, and you're sad it blew up in his face?
  4. Don't mind Modrak, but I think MM deserves another year. Flame away
  5. Larry Johnson couldn't crack the lineup in KC for 2 years. Does that mean he sucks? Thurman Thomas warmed the bench for Barry Sanders. Does that mean Thurman sucked? Coaches and GMs have any number of reasons for the things they do. SOme believe rookies shouldn't start.
  6. How about this. Line up Bennie Anderson and Roscoe Parrish wide left. Roscoe could hide behind Bennie to make the CB think we only have 10 men on the field...or...We set up a screen to Roscoe. Bennie is too slow for this normally, but see, he's already out there. Then Bennie pancakes the CB. EIther way, TOUCHDOWN
  7. This is the worst team, given the amount of talent we have. That's what is frustrating the hell out of everyone. I still voted for the mid 80's.
  8. Take a look at the detoit Lions. 'Nuff said.
  9. Garrison Hearst? Where?
  10. Hockey...
  11. WIth another 25 yeard pass, JR will hav e 100 yards receiving
  12. You know you're in trouble when Josh Reed has the only touchdown. The plus side to all this is that I don't live in Buffalo
  13. Mould suspended one game.
  14. DT first, LOT 2nd.
  15. There is a radio show out here that has a "Tookie Must Die" hour. Personally, I like the Chargers. Brees is a Purdue grad, so, I guess I have a soft spot there.
  16. Yeah, like Wannstadt and Callahan
  17. Heck, I've already switched to San Diego Not really, but I do like them. And yes, chances are EM will light it up next year wherever he ends up.
  18. This is why I love this website.
  19. Our D was ok last year, but wasn't dominating like some have suggested. I will offer up the end of the Jacksonville game and the 2 half of the Steelers game as proof. Losing Pat Williams this year certainly didn't help, though.
  20. Donahoe has made some really good moves: Mcgahee Losman Evans Lots of people supported getting DB after the RJ fiasco. One collosal mistake: Mike Williams One rather large mistake: Gregg Williams The biggest complaint over the past 2 years, is the offensive line. However, this summer we let Pat Williams go and go mediocre to bad players to fill in the offensive line and that is what people are not happy with (besides all this other stuff). I think most people would agree this team is closer to being good than to being bad. But both lines need to be addressed ASAP, and people have lost faith in Donahoe.
  21. Here's the thing...we have good players. It's both lines that need help. Once that happens, I think we see a decent turnaround. Q-back..young and getting better R-back...good Receivers...good TE...average Line...mediocre Linebackers...very good (with Takeo healthy) Secondary...good Interior line...mediocre
  22. I would start with gasoline and a lighter. But that's just me.
  23. Because you threaten to cut him. And because you plant the little idea is his head that you'll put the word out on the street that he's horrible (in essence, you've already done that by pulling him and starting Peters). Tehn with the fear of God in him, you renegotiate to a much better deal and see what kind of a draft pick you can get. have you ever negotiated anything before?
  24. Threads are always better with Braveheart references
