  1. I sense a threat.
  2. Great...spend a bunch of money on McNair and still have a crap offensive line. That sounds smart. Hey, maybe Marv can coach him, right?
  3. That's what I think too. Modrak becomes GM with Clements and Gray bye-bye. Who is the next OC and DC then?
  4. I'll feel really good if we can jump up a few spots and grab Mario Williams. We can always get a quality DT in the 2nd.
  5. What upstate NY has going for it are the people. Very nice, down to earth type folks. After that, I think you're just waxing poetic. I lived in Rochester for 18 years before going to college. I have now lived in a number of cities...namely Atlanta, Phoenix, Chicago, Vegas, and Los Angeles. I am extremely biased against cold weather. That being said, Chicago is my favorite city behind Atlanta and Los Angeles. Chicago is like a Buffalo with more things to do and a slightly more white collar population. I have ZERO urge to move back to Rochester OR Buffalo. Maybe it's just me, but I don't miss it at all and I would rather sit in traffic in LA than live in Rochester.
  6. Also, never underestimate other teams stupidity when it comes to the draft, and reaching for a 'need' player.
  7. If Tennessee and Arizona winn next week, and we lose out, that puts us in a good position for the 4th pick...and we take Mario WIlliams? Realistically, I put us 5th through 7th.
  8. Umm, what's the heading of this thread?: Bills #1 Pick, Why you can't go with OL or DL. You wrote that, right? And I know he's a DE.
  9. So, now Mario Williams isn't part of the DL? Personally, I hope we take Mario Williams. I think there are enough good DTs that we can pick one up in the 2nd round.
  10. I told you all TD was done
  11. I think we can address the OL better in FA than the DL. I think our 1st and 3rd draft choices will be DL and our 2nd OL.
  12. And this is the same kind of logic that would suggest that the guy who at one time coached the kickers for the Dolphins would suck too. Oh yeah, he was a quadrapalegic and some said he had the best technical eye in the NFL (ability to critique technique). I'm not saying our guy might not suck, but to write him off simply becuase he never played the game is utterly silly.
  13. If available, I like Mario Williams with our first pick, an LOT with the 2nd and a DT with the 3rd. If not, I like Ngata with our first, LOT 2nd and a OG with our 3rd.
  14. I like Al Saunders too.
  15. The thing we are underestimating is other teams stupidity. Say we have the number 4 pick, and #3 makes a stupid decision...maybe we can trade down because someone really wants the #4 slot and will overpay to get it. That's what I'm counting on.
  16. I still like Al Saunders. Yes, he is an OC but he's not one of these up and coming young coaches who burn out after 2 or 3 years here. Plus, he knows how to make the run work.
  17. It seems as though AL at least knows how to run the ball.
  18. Mularkey would be better if only he had a +3 headset.
  19. I heard JJ was going to coach both the Saints and the Texans since he's twice the coach those guys are.
  20. I will point to the beginning and the end of last year as an example of how this D was over-rated...and how we played a bunch of weak NFC opponents. I have never been impressed with gray.
  21. I know this is total hearsay, but it has a ring of truth to it. I can see Donahoe holding on too long and not being brave enough to cut his losses. McNally stikes me as the kind of guy who walks in and says how it is. I mean, why the heck is Coy Wire still here? I find it very believable that Donahoe tries to hold on to guys that coaches would want to get rid of.
  22. I thought it was Busch League? GO Bills.
  23. It's not the record, so much, for me. It's the mailing it in with the talent level we have that's pissing a lot of people off. That, and our useless blitzes
  24. McGee would not be as good as he is now if TV hadn't gotten hurt last year. Doesn't he have more INTs than Clements this year? I don't know what you mean he hasn't done much to distinguish himself. He seems to be one of the few players who aren't mailing it in this year.
