That's right. When You've got a terrific O-line with Leinart, Bush and LenDale White and you've been picking up 5 yards a play, it's silly to go for it on 4th and 1. Especially when you know your defense will easily stop VY when you give him 20 extra yards to go with a punt.

Honestly, being critical is the lazy approach because it's easy. Sometimes I think people like being upset more than they like being happy. Actually, I know they do.

I think Young comes out since he IMHO cemented himself as a top 5 pick.

I'm not sure how much of that was Pete Carroll sucking compared to Vince Young being unstoppable. He did it last year against Michigan. He did it this year against Ohio State and USC. I have never seen a single person carry a team on his back like Vince Young. The guy is amazing. This one one of the best football games I've seen in a long time. So many good players on that field with Young being the best.

Historically, undead coaches haven't faired well under the sunlight of 1:00pm NFL games. So yes, I would complain about Lombardi. I mean, maggots crawling out of his eyesockets would be even worse when we play Miami away with all that humidity.

Well, considering the right side of the line was ok last year (who knew Mike Williams would rise to new levels of suckitude) and we all had reservations about Anderson and Gandy, yes a good supporting cast--a defense that only lost one person and an offense with 2 very good receivers and a good running back to help out a rookie qb. And who knew the big fat guys we have couldn't even run block, let alone pass-block.

A lot of us were hoping for a Roethlisberger (sp?) type season, meaning the rookie does ok with a solid supporting cast around him. That doesn't mean fans were demanding playoffs. 8-8 with a rookie qb would have been ok with me. The monumental failure of the defense when it mattered and a horrible o-line made everything worse.

I don't know how. I'm a loser. LOL
