  1. Of course, because Jauron fielded such a dominating defense in Jacksonville. Bates has proven himself on the Dolphins and Packers. Jauron...less impressive.
  2. If Ngata's gone, Tamba Hali.
  3. I hope not. That guy is even more annoying than Gregg Williams with a bullhorn.
  4. So, that means we're having a wheat heavy off-season? (I hope someone gets this).
  5. Unmercifully flawed? But then you guess, on average, that coaches who make more money do better than coaches who don't? So, my conclusion is flawed but yet you agree with me...hmmm...a tad confusing. Usually you don't pay someone a pile of dough unless they have proven results beforehand, hence, they're paid more money. Just because you're underpaid doesn't in the slightest make what I said wrong. Ralph has paid coordinators good money in the past. Unfortunatley, it was for a head coaching position
  6. Not if that teacher from "Head of the Class" beats him to it.
  7. And conversely, the fact that we don't have coaches at the higher end of the pay scale leads me to believe that OBD is unwilling to pay for it. I mean, the best name you can give me is Chuck Knox? I believe, in business, you look for the best person available (kind of like how we draft). What they have saved in salary do you think they could have made up in ticket sales for palyoff games (assuming higher pay= better results).
  8. Name a highly paid coach that we've had here in Buffalo.
  9. Mularkey was certainly on the lower end of the NFL scale. It doesn't take a genius to extrapole that they aren't exactly throwing out money for coaches at OBD.
  10. Saban obviously wanted a guy he could push around.
  11. Obviously you have never purchased a car, a house, or been involved in any other exchange that required some kind of contract.
  12. From what little I know, I think the 3-4 would require bigger DE's than we have presently.
  13. THat's why we hired their D-Line coach, right?
  14. Well, now he's our offensive coordinator. Oh boy.
  15. Why does everyone have to have some "tie" to the Bills? I hope we do well, but I don't know. These 2 coaching hires seem promising, but not very inspiring.
  16. I like the fact he's not Jim Haslett.
  17. How about we sign every free agent we've heard of? Get 'er done Marv. To hell with the cap.
  18. Don't forget, Cam Cameron was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E at Indiana. I know, I went to Purdue. He was known as an offensive guy, but never seemed to get everything in order. But now he's running a good offense in San Diego. You never know. I would prefer someone who has been good in a number of different situations/teams/systems.
  19. When did Lovie SMith leave St. Louis? That could explain the drop-off.
  20. I wonder if Jauron and Levy are members of the Skull and Bones
  21. Don't forget, the late 30's isn't what it used to be. In 20 years, I wouldn't be surprised to find 40 year olds in the nfl.
  22. It makes the 101/405 commute better
  23. He told some joke (which no one got) about being in Brussels on Tuesday. Then he asked is it Monday? (don't reference movies where none of the people are alive anymore). Add to that he's 87 years old, and sounds it. ESPN overlaid his comments with Burgess Meredith's from Grumpy Old Men. It was really funny, whether this ESPN guy has talent or not.
  24. Burgess Meredith = Ralph Wilson I thought it was hilarious and depressing all at the same time.
