The catch is that people who cannot receive satellite can get it via Broadband. So...if I have cable, that (by definition) means I cannot get it through DIRECTV Also, a lot of people in large apartment buildings cannot get DIRECTV. That could be a huge money maker for the NFL and DIRECTV.

Tim, I have a Jason Peters question. There seems to be some debate regarding how much his play really dropped off last year. As a fan, I saw him directly responsible for at least 2 turnovers. Stats have him giving up 11.5 sacks last season in 13 games...the most sacks/game played than any other starting LT in the league. Yet he was elected to the Pro Bowl. What is the real story on Jason Peters? What do coaches and/or players say about him? After what seemed to be a lackluster season, he is asking (for all intents and purposes) to be the highest paid LT in the league.

My job as an owner (hypothetically) is to give every reason for players to enjoy the city where my football team is. We're talking about nightlife, which for some (including football players) includes the desire to hang out at a nice club. Technically you could get drunk, imbibe drugs, and be an offensive, strutting wise guy in your own garage...but that won't help to sell Buffalo to football players. Buffalo may have a bunch of bars, but apparently it lacks a quality nightclub and/or lounge.

I had a dream last night (just realized after reading this thread) that we drafted Nelson in the 3rd.

If I'm the owner of a $1,000,000,000 franchise, I build a freakin' nightclub to keep my players happy. Geez, these people have no vision sometimes.

I respect Jauron more after reading that article. Gives you a better understanding that he's a stand-up guy. His clock-mismanagement still drives me nuts, though.
