  1. Someone explain to me how Cleveland keeps getting ranked ahead of the Bills? Who the heck plays for that team? Jake Delhomme? AYFS?
  2. I won't believe anything about Aaron Maybin until Donte tweets about it.
  3. It depends on how old he was. Although, if Hossage really did sleep with a 15 year old prostitute, and did it in exchange for drugs that kinda deserves its own thread. BTW, did anyone notice that DW tweeted that his legs were tired 3 days ago? I wonder if that's from doing squats?
  4. UPDATE: Now Lynch "unhappy" that he's still with the Bills. http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/06/03/updates-on...hs-unhappiness/
  5. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/06/03/lynch-not-on-hand/
  6. Did not play. But when guys go from average size to super-huge over a summer or two, it looks odd. I don't have any direct evidence, but it was talked about (a lot) with certain guys, one of whom went on to play at Syracuse (when they were still good). It's kinda like in college. There was no evidence or NCAA infractions for Glenn Robinson that he was getting kick backs, but explain to me how a guy from the projects has a brand new red Cadillac and and a new gray Jeep on campus. People notice things, whether it's in high school or college
  7. ANOTHER UPDATE: Lendale to face 4 game suspension for substance abuse http://www.rotoworld.com/content/clubhouse...amp;majteam=SEA
  8. Just had on the local news here in LA that Seattle mistakenly issued a press release stating White had been released, then retracted it LOL EDIT: Now official http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...938&id=3637
  9. Those kind of guys are almost as bad as the dude from Lady in the Water, who only worked out one arm
  10. I went to Webster myself, and when I was there at least a few football players, if not more, were doing steroids. Coincidence?
  11. To the OP: You're about a month late to this debate.
  12. Jacoby Ford was a WR on that team and is super fast like Spiller (4.28 40). Now, whether he translates that speed to the NFL remains to be seen. Of course, Al Davis drafted Ford lol
  13. Link to story?
  14. Perhaps Leonidas does
  15. Shaud Williams led the SEC in rushing. Just sayin'.
  16. And San Diego had LT, Turner and Sproles all on the roster when Nix was there.
  17. All 32 teams passed on Brees in the first round.
  18. Apparently, Chuck Lester has naked photos of Chris Mortenson too.
  19. Here's a simple rule of business: Don't piss off your customers. Make them happy. This PSL garbage is going to bite them in the ass. You have a decades long waiting list which you've now blown through? Say bye-bye to your demand. And, from that article, it appears the Jets were price gouging compared to what the Giants were asking for.
  20. Me no like re-vote. Me change vote. Me show you how smart I am. -Ed Bouchette. May 13, 2010 Too bad Ed Bouchette is operating off a false premise. Only in the bizzaro world of AP voting could someone equivocate pushing someone down the stairs to cheating. Cheating trumps results obtained through cheating every time. In Ed's world, people can't perjure themselves if a verdict is handed down after-the-fact. Perjury? Sorry. Too late now. Sorry Ed, there is no slippery slope here. It's a red herring. You cheat, you invalidate the results from cheating. You fail the test. You lose the job. You abdicate any awards obtained through false means. You're making a rocket science out of it, when it's pretty cut and dry. But thanks Ed. Do whatever it takes to make yourself feel better about yourself.
  21. jw, Why does the Twitter feed suck on the espn.go.com/boston site? And what do you think of Jerry Sullivan
  22. You know, correct me if I am wrong, but historically in other venues (like academics) cheating disqualifies you from results gained through dishonest means. And last time I checked, steroids were considered cheating (don't split hairs and tell me it was for HcG, we all know what the fertility drug was used for). So, what grand point were these voters trying to make? That you can't take an award away after it's discovered that someone cheated? Really? That's what they're falling on their sword about. Seriously? In any other non-bizarro universe cheating trumps winning. You cheat, you sacrifice the win (or award, grade, score, et. al).
  23. Please, stop making sense. It has no place here
  24. In other news, the people responsible for the AP ROTY tally have now voted to award Jayson Blair a Pulitzer. This includes Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star Telegram and John McClain of the Houston Chronicle (no conflict of interest there LOL).
  25. Unlike Jauron, I believe Gailey actually EXPECTS to win. Now, whether that actually translates onto the field remains to be seen. Jauron looked defeated before he ever set foot out on the turf. Like you, I will reserve judgment until I see results. This team has justifiably lost the fans trust. It's now up to them to win it back...through winning.
