Be aware that DIRECTV assigns their customers tiers (ranked 1 through 5) based upon how much money they spend, how long they've been a customer, etc. People that are low-ranking customers may not get such a deal.

This whole thing sucks in my opinion. I went to Purdue, I am a Big Ten guy, and this blows big time. The Big 12 was a good conference, and now the Big Ten has started a mess. Texas in the Pac-10 doesn't even make freakin' sense. Nebraska to the Big 10 (12). Colorado to the Pac-10 (Soon to be Pac-16). More (crap) to come.

People who earn more subsidize a lot of this country. And that, in my mind, is antithetical to what this country was founded on. I think you need to address your obvious class envy issues.
