  1. How about this one: "You dog one of us, you dog all of us!" But my all time favorite still comes from Nix. "Don't tell me about the labor pains. Just show me the baby."
  2. This calls for a "like" button.
  3. Wow. Over-react much? Lookie here. Looks like TBD has its newest troll. Welcome to my ignore list. You're sure to be added to others.
  4. I am confused by this. Donald Jones over Jackson? I am not confused by any other cut. Not even Bell.
  5. Jackson is the 5th WR. He ain't going anywhere.
  6. Great players are looked over all the time. You've heard of a guy named Michael Jordan, right? The fact that 8 other teams didn't draft Spiller means nothing. It doesn't take into account front office drafting strategies, front office aptitude, etc. Gruden thought Spiller was the most dynamic player in the draft.
  7. I was no fan of selecting a running back before the draft, but once I saw highlights of the guy I was convinced. I was very happy with Spiller on draft day. And now it's nice to see him continue to be electric on the field in the NFL. I still say Spiller = 2010 version of Gayle Sayers.
  8. This is my read on things. When Trent got sacked during the first Indy series, it looked like the offense had that "Uh-oh, not this again" look on their face. But since that bomb to Lee Evans, the whole tenor of the offense has changed with regards to swagger and attitude. CJ has helped too.
  9. GAYLE SAYERS!!!! I've been saying that ever since I saw CJ highlights from Clemson on YouTube. Sanders seems to run with a lower center of gravity. I think he's a different kind of runner than CJ, but they do have some similarities. But the ability to stop then go full speed the other direction coupled with the ability to cut while going full speed is a distinctly C.J./Sayers thing. It's ridiculous.
  10. I thought Nix explained that a runner like Spiller helps the O-line because they don't have to block as long
  11. I've said this before....C.J. SPiller = 2010 version of Gayle Sayers. The ability to start, stop and change direction mixed with pure speed... Hell, his highlights remind me of C.J. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0DTIuT4Hfs
  12. Just saw some of the highlights. CJ's second run looked almost the same as his run against Indy. Made a linebacker miss, then ran it up the sideline. Holy moley, that dude is exciting.
  13. LOL It needs to have the proper cadence....like: CJ "Tha Thrilla" Spiller
  14. Yes, apparently they moved the game. Now you can see it at 8pm on Monday. LOL WTF?!?!?!
  15. What the heck does that mean? This kid deserves a chance. The NFL doesn't have a problem if you take someone's life if you can pay off a family and catch TD's, but sleep with your sister, and you're blacklisted. Oi vey. Not to mention, you have no idea if this kid would be good or if he wouldn't. Hence that whole "chance" thing.
  16. Donte Stallworth served 24 days of a 30 day sentence for KILLING another human being with his car while he was drunk. He then paid off the family of the man he killed with a "financial settlement." And Tony Washington is going to be a PR problem for the NFL? Christ, that's ridiculous.
  17. It's sad teams don't have the gumption to give this kid a shot. People think being in the NFL is hard. Being in the NFL is for amateurs. Forgiveness is for pros.
  18. Personally, I find Rex Ryan to be hilarious and highly likable. Who knows how it will translate to the field.
  19. We have great fans, but the Bills fans aren't "The Best." Steelers fans are. They travel better than any other fan base in the NFL.
  20. So Shawn Nelson took steroids to improve his blocking?
  21. How often do you crumble under pressure? Seems to be a sore spot for you.
  22. I think the offense looked pretty miserable, and Trent's pick was horrible, but would we be singing a slightly different tune if Stupar hadn't been called for holding and we ended up scoring on that first drive?
