I'm not sure if you guys noticed during the preseason, but there was one series where Buffalo ran a standard formation with Fitz at QB and Brad Smith as a WR. The very next play we ran was a Wildcat formation with the same personnel on the field with Smith at QB and Fitz out wide as a WR. Now that's pretty darn crafty if you ask me. If they run the no huddle with that grouping, it could be very effective.

While I appreciate Nevergiveup, Wawrow is the guy who has had telephone interviews with Ralph. I don't know how anyone can say he " doesn't talk to anyone." Jasper didn't show nothing. If you watched the 4th preseason game, you saw he was beginning to understand how to shed blocks. I saw a big improvement, but obviously not enough to make the active roster.

I am not convinced Troup will be a bust. He may not be an all-pro right now, but he is much improved from last year. He was getting blown up a lot last year. This year, I haven't seen his leg buckle trying to re-establish leverage. Also, we'll see if things get better once the club/cast comes off. Hairston looked ok. But so did Ko Simpson at one point. We need to see a much larger body of work than one game.

I definitely noticed Spencer Johnson. How could you not? He was getting great push, batting down passes and showing great hustle. I was very surprised. What weight did he play at last year? Because I never thought he was as big as he is now (306).
