  1. Did anybody think Buddy was going to snag Mario Williams in free agency? And then get Mark Anderson as well? Buddy loves his draft picks. But he still has the ability to surprise
  2. I really enjoy Buffalo Rumblings, but I thought that was a square peg, round hole argument. Floyd was the superior pick there, although you never know if Nix is going to surprise with a Melvin Ingram or DeCastro selection at 10. It could be either Martin or Floyd. I think Floyd is a stud. Martin is not a stud, but he fills a need. We'll see what happens.
  3. How fast does he play with pads on?
  4. Recent Buffalo 1st rounders: Aaron Maybin, Mike Williams Recent Buffalo 7th rounders: Stevie Johnson, Demetrius Bell, Michael Jasper (crossing my fingers on this one)
  5. Well, he's done it the past 2 years in the first round. Spiller was regarded by many as BPA when drafted and some considered Dareus BPA in the whole draft.
  6. I thought Choice showed way more than Johnny White last year. Like the signing. And like the competition it creates. Not as much competition as 17 down linemen. But competition nonetheless
  7. Except Tim Graham was pretty good. This guy sucks.
  8. My favorite part of the mock drafts this year is how many people whine that the 10 spot is too high to take a guard. Yet these same people make no complaints about DeCastro being mocked at 11th or 12th.
  9. Unless Nix picks a LT other than Kalil at 10 (and he won't even be there), it will surprise me. Nix has picked BPA available in round one since he got here, and unless every news outlet/draft source is wrong, Martin and Reiff will certainly not be BPA at 10. But if he does pick either one of those guys at 10, I will find it perfectly acceptable since I trust Nix's judgment. Everyone else saw the point. You can't dig yourself out of a hole with a shovel.
  10. When I saw Min take a CB at 3, I knew you had Kalil dropping to us. Nice way to force things, but that ain't happening.
  11. The more I look at the draft, the more I think we're going to select a skill player at 10. Reiff projects as a RT and Martin is a finesse LT who IMHO doesn't possess what Nix looks for in an OL. My gut is now telling me it could be Dre Kirkpatrick or Floyd at 10. I am sensing Floyd with probable BPA at 10 DeCastro a darkhorse.
  12. And there you have it. Barring injury, that's our final roster on the DLine
  13. Unless something crazy happens, DeCastro will be BPA at 10. If we take him, he replaces Urbik not Levitre.
  14. So the Bills just posted this on Facebook. Rumor had it that he was in Baltimore. Guess not.
  15. I'm just some dude on the Internet. I'm no scout. BUT, perhaps, if Coples were there at 10, I think Mario being here would put less pressure on him to be THE GUY and he could develop well. He was double teamed a lot last year at UNC. If we have 4 guys on the line who command double teams, well, that's a problem I'd like to have.
  16. Other than Kalil, there is no LT top-of-the-first-round stud out there. I'd be surprised if we take a LT at 10. Martin you could make an outside argument for, but he needed TE help A LOT at Stanford. Reiff (like has been said) has short arms. Adams has strength/conditioning issues and questions. Those are not the kind of things you look for in a Top 10 pick. I could see Floyd. I could see DeCastro. Coples has the physical gifts, and I think is less of a chance with the addition of Mario Williams. Those guys qualify as BPA at 10 IMHO.
  17. It was dumb for Kraft to say that. And he's wrong. Seeing Marsha on his back multiple times twice a year isn't worth 50 million. It's priceless.
  18. Just to clarify, Williams had a bone spur on his heel which was cutting into his Achilles. The surgery actually had them take Kyle's Achilles tendon OFF his heel, they polished the bone, and then reattached the Achilles. That's a lot more involved than people realize, although all reports say he's feeling better than ever. Merriman's Achilles was close to rupturing, so they went in and operated. I don't know what that involved, but it's at least slightly better than having a ruptured Achilles. From what I saw last year, Merriman has great instincts. And he definitely hurt his shoulder the beginning of the Chiefs game and wasn't the same. Then his Achilles acted up. I have a feeling, as a situational pass rusher, Merriman will be fantastic this year. Especially with a full off season program with the Bills.
  19. Take it for what it's worth.... Some report on Twitter speculated that the Bills will jump ahead of the Dolphins if Cleveland doesn't take Tannehill.
  20. Your posts are worse than worthless. Stop taking up bandwidth. And welcome to ignore. Bu-bye.
  21. Yes, you will get called stupid. Why is it always the guys with fewer than 200 posts that invariably post silly stuff like this?
  22. I was born at Rochester General Hospital in 1971. My dad was born in Rochester in 1939 and my mom is from Chicago. Their grandparents immigrated from Italy and Germany and Sweden and came to Rochester and the Michigan UP to work and raise their families. My family grew up with the Protestant work ethic. My parents settled in Rochester after college in 1966. When I was 18 I went to college and only came back to Rochester for a couple of years. I've lived in Rochester, Atlanta, Chicago, Indiana, Connecticut, Las Vegas, Phoenix and LA. Any city outside of LA and NYC usually have an inferiority complex. Rochester certainly had/has it. Buffalo does too. Buffalo has plenty of people that love it. But Upstate NY as a whole has a problem. An image problem. A problem with opportunities. A problem with retaining people who grew up there. They're losing people. And a lot of people who trash Buffalo are from Buffalo. And I'm sure that hurts. Personally, for me, you couldn't get me to move back to Rochester, and certainly not Buffalo. It doesn't have what I'm looking for. I love living in Los Angeles. But some people hate it. C'est la vie. What Buffalo has is an image problem that people aren't effectively addressing. In regards to football, that problem lies at the feet of Ralph Wilson. He's the captain of the ship. Green Bay doesn't have this image problem because they prioritize winning. And maybe, the people in Wisconsin are even crazier than the Bills fans in Buffalo and Rochester. If you don't want Brady trashing the hotels in Buffalo, someone build a hotel. If you want free agents to come to Buffalo, build a winning franchise. Simple. Kinda.
  23. I'm an almost 41 year old entrepreneur...and I'm feeling the same way. Except I couldn't resuscitate myself
