  1. I don't think that is out of the question. I think 5 wins is about right. I was thinking about 2 or 3. Good thing is we have a lot more going for us than in 2001. We have the players in place to be improved for next season for a possible playoff berth.
  2. I'm with you Inkman. I'm hoping that this doesn't turn out to be one of TD's quarterbacks full of potential but doesn't work out. Have to be optimistic. If he has time to throw, then we'll find out what he's all about.
  3. I agree but I remembering hearing the same thing last year on TBD. Of course we want the Bills to be good, but I think this is going to take time. This year could end up being very similar to 2001 season.
  4. Jim Kelly was a leader. Is JP? That hasn't happened yet. Most of people on this board are exactly right. He has not been getting the job done. This is his year. He knows he has to make the most of his performances. If he doesn't then he won't our quarterback of the future.
  5. I have no problem with Whitner being the type of player that Henry Jones #20 was for us. When Jones was healthy he was a good player.
  6. I thought Posey was traded for Jay Foreman, but I could be wrong. We are at a new era now in Buffalo. Marv is the new GM and right now he seems to be making good decisions.
  7. This is a good post. When I first started getting into football I was 9 years old back in 1991. The first game I actually sat down and watched was the Bills and Giants in the Superbowl. Maybe the first play I saw it was Bruce Smith getting a sack in the end zone for a safety. I thought that was pretty cool. He ended up being my favorite player until he retired. Anyway, I saw the game and the way the Bills lost I knew that they were my team. People still don't understand why I'm a big Bills fan instead of the Bears beause Chicago is my hometown, but I will always have my loyalties no matter what to the Buffalo Bills.
  8. You could be right on with your prediction, but I think that would be worse case scenerio. While I don't think that there is any doubt we will get blown out of some games this year, I was hoping for a 6-10 to 8-8 season. Anything better than 8-8 would be a great year. Realistically, I was thinking maybe 5-11 like last year.
  9. I like this list, I think that's right on. Maybe Kurt Schultz? He had a couple of good seasons with the Bills.
  10. I think what you wrote on #2 is right on. Because a lot of quarterbacks are right handed they have to have someone on the left side that can pass block effectively enough so that the quarterback doesn't have to look over his shoulder and worry about who's going to get him. Also, the LT is usually the position that has to block most of the top pass rushers on the opposing team.
  11. That was our best overall game of the season. We dominated that game.
  12. Good move by the Bills. We have a right tackle now for the next 5 years.
  13. Aaron Gibson. Look for him to come back and have a good year.
  14. Who did they have last? Hopefully JP can come out on fire this year.
  15. I saw the wide receiver clip on ESPN and was a little suprsied also. They said that we had a lot of slot receivers. I thought we would have been a little higher but until our recivers can prove otherwise that is where we are.
  16. In Chicago on October 8th.
  17. Do we have any dead cap space for next season?
  18. How about next year's first round pick for Orlando Pace.
  19. While I agree with you on your analysis, there is just one main problem with this. Overall, the Bills team doesn't match up well with the Patriots. The Patriots also have the major edge on the coaching department. Also, the quarterback position, which is the General on the field, is not one of our strengths while the Patriots have one of the best Generals in the league.
  20. I thought that when the Bills traded up in the first round I thought it would have been for Winston Justice or Nick Mangold. I don't know if Mangold is going to be the leader that Hull was but right now our center is Chris Fowler. Hopefully Fowler will have a good season.
  21. The Bills go 3 and 13 as they hit rock bottom. I think they will not get their first win until week 7 or 8, whatever game is at home.
  22. I think he will make the team as our backup Right Tackle.
  23. The one that stands out to me is Brad Hopkins. That would be the one that would be the most intriguing if we signed one of those players.
  24. I Agree. Nall might be in the competition for top reserve, but for Nall to be starting at the beginning of the season? That seems like a long shot. Another long shot is Andre Davis as our #2 wide receiver heading into the start of the season. Maybe he will be our #3 wide reciever.
  25. The decision to put in Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie in the AFC wildcard Playoffs that year was a horrible decision, and unfortunatley was the start of this downword spiral we are in right now. I have high hopes we can turn things around in the right direction starting with our defense this year. If we would have lost, at least we would have been LOYAL to our quarterback who started 15 games of that season (1999-2000). It is still controversial, but the decision was NOT a good one.
