  1. That would be something to get a first rounder for him. I would trade a second rounder for him but not anything in the third round or later. Either way, if the Bills can get the first rounder for a pretty good running back go for it.
  2. The only way we get him is if we trade up. I am all for it if Willis gets traded.
  3. That list looks pretty accurate as long as its not in that order. London is probably the best free agent middle linebacker that is out on the market but Lance Brigga is the best overall linebacker. There are some good defensive ends that are going to be free agents. I would imagine that half of those names are going to stay with their present team.
  4. Suprise, Suprise, Adam Vineiteri kicks a last second field goal to win it for the Colts. Colts 23 Bears 20
  5. JP is not a pro bowl quarterback... yet. He is improving, but not a chance of being in the pro bowl, at least this year. If Peyton Manning doesn't play in the pro bowl, McNair would be the choice to go next.
  6. This is the post I like the best. Absoultely agree. If this is the way it went down, I would be all for it. Defintely like our first round pick.
  7. So he's the reason why we are 38-58? I agree that we need a changes but not at this position. If we want our secondary to be strong for years to come then having Nate on the team will help. A solid corner is hard to find and Clements is the guy to resign.
  8. Absolutely agree. Bruce Smith and Reggie White are arguably the two best defensive ends in their prime in NFL history. I would still rather have Bruce Smith. His disruption on almost every play was outstanding and I have not seen that out of any defensive end in the league since he left Buffalo.
  9. That's not the way you deal with business. There is a right way of doing things and the wrong way. I think this idea is the wrong one. I think the best solution would be to resign Clements for a hefty contract and keep him a Buffalo Bill for many more years.
  10. Good Post. The first round pick could be better. The linebacker from Penn State is the best linebacker coming out of college this year, Paul P.. If we were to draft a linebacker I would choose him over anyone. He could end being an Urlacher type of player. I am hoping that for some reason we trade up to get Joe Thomas but I know that's not going to happen. Okoye has the potential to be very good especially at his age, however, if we think that McCargo is going to be just as good this changes. If we don't resign Nate, a corner in round one or two would be the choice. Overall I would pick Paul P. from Penn State if we resign London Fletcher.
  11. This is a no brainer. Why would we sign Steinbach if we had the money to pay for Clements? Defense wins.
  12. Brad Cieslak is starting at fullback this weekend. Look for him to open up some big holes in the running game for McGahee and Thomas.
  13. Good question that's for sure. It will still exceed expectations, however, if we look bad the final two games and especially this game coming up at home then that is going to leave some bad feelings heading into the offseason.
  14. I agree with your post. I think the biggest pickup of the group was Anthony Thomas. How this guy went under the radar is suprising. He has been a very good number two running back for our club. Robert Royal has done a good job for us at tight end. Also lets put Brad Cieslak on this list. Since he has been called up because of lots of injuries to other players, he has stepped in and done a good job for us as well. Our 2006-2007 draft has been solid all around.
  15. I think we all understand that we are grateful to be in this situation. After the bye week some of us were trying to figure out what pick we would get in next years draft. The situation has completely changed. Before we start focusing on the Titans, lets focus on tomorrow's big Monday night matchup of Cincinatti against Indianapolis. If Peyton Manning can have a big game and the defense can create a few turnovers I don't see why Indianapolis would lose.
  16. All important but obviously the only one that really matters is Buffalo against Miami. Every Sunday their is for the most part one or two upsets. I am really looking at Tennessee over Jacksonville as a possible upset and maybe Indi over Cincy.
  17. Tim Anderson is not going anywhere, you know the coaches like his work ethic. They will give him another year to see what he can do. Everett has been hurt for most of his NFL career so I'm not sure what you want to do with him. Robert Royal and Brad Cieslak have been good tight ends for us these past few weeks and if we continue to win that position will not be as big of a need next season. The rest are questionable and debatable.
  18. Trade up and select offensive tackle Joe Thomas out of Wisconsin if he still there around the tenth pick. I would trade our first and third to get that guy if that is realistic.
  19. The guy that is missed is Pat Williams. He can still play the run very well in Minnesota. The cover two is for a team with athletic defensive tackles, but in running situations, I think it would be a good idea to have a defensive tackle that their strength is stopping the run.
  20. I disagree. I think next year you will see that the Bills go after a left tackle in the first round. With the amount of talent at left tackle coming out of college this year I think we draft one of those guys. Jason Peters will move back to right tackle.
  21. I guess they played their best game overall as a group this week. Still, the team has to get two lineman, especially at left tackle. After the season I would still move Peters back to the right tackle spot.
  22. Can we still put the franchise tag on Nate or is he going want a long term deal? I think that is the best option for the Buffalo Bils at this point. We have to see what Youboty can do when he gets in there and plays man to man coverage.
  23. I'd like to see him scramble more often. If he can't get it done throwing the ball, make something happen with his mobility. I agree though, the way to find out if JP's our quarterback for next year is if he plays the entire season.
  24. The guy we really want is Joe Thomas from Wisconsin. If we get him, we an a guy that play for more than a decade at the left tackle spot for us.
