  1. After taking that huge hit to the helmet, I think he came back to early last year from that injury. IF he's healthy, this is a good trade for Miami. What that does to Miami's pick in the draft is debatable. I still think that Levi Brown could be their guy that they want.
  2. They played well last year and last year they were the team under the radar. I'm not sure who that team will be this year that comes out of no where and plays good football. I would say the Bills this year, but with the way things have gone over the past 6 years and our losses in free agency on defense, I don't think we will be the Saints of last year. This year I think the Patriots get back to the Super Bowl and win it against the Seahawks.
  3. When it comes down to it, I think this position needs to be upgraded and Willis is that guy. If Okoye and Peterson are off the board, I think Willis is the guy that you go after.
  4. They will definitely be the favorites in winning their division but as far as winning the AFC? I think you still have to put Indianpolis and New England ahead of them.
  5. After a handful of years not making the playoffs might have something to do with this.
  6. I think a fullback in the mid round will help. It is possible that after June 1st we'll go after someone to get some depth.
  7. 2003- When are you setting up the Mock draft on TBD of 2007?
  8. I paid attention to the first 11 picks before Buffalo picks and if it works out this way, which it could, I think we would go with top cornerback first or trade down. I would not like to see the draft turn out like this but it is a possibility. I think a lot of what happens depends on what Washington decides to do. If they go with Jaamal Anderson or Alan Branch, I think the chance of getting Okoye or Willis is more likely, that is if we go for one of the two of them.
  9. No question about it. I think he could be compared to Will Wolford during his career.
  10. I like our pick and think it would be nice if it worked out that way.
  11. Ian Scott could be a good pickup if we don't go for a defensive tackle in the first three rounds of the draft and focus on linebacker and cornerback instead.
  12. Other than not resigning Clements, I agree with that. Peterson droping to 12 would be the only running back that would be worth the number 12 pick otherwise its about the defense in round one, hopefully.
  13. While a running back would be nice in round two, three, or four, I would go with almost all defensive players, especially in rounds one and two. Unless there is a guy that is a can't miss guy that the Bills like, I would select a middle linebacker or defensive tackle. I think if Okoye falls to us, we have to seriously think about taking him. The potential as a star for years with Okoye is very high.
  14. Let them think whatever they want. They could be right, however if we make it to the playoffs this year then I'm sure the Bills will be getting a lot of positives from those same reporters.
  15. There are a lot pressing needs, with the first two being running back and middle linebacker. I think when its said and done, we have to get a middle linebacker before we get a running back.
  16. I think we all understand that the wide receiver position will probably be addressed in the mid to late rounds, especially if we can find one that Marv likes. At this point I'm not sure why we wouldn't draft a running back and at least 3 defensive players, preferably 2 in the first three rounds.
  17. Okoye or Willis. I think Okoye will be gone when we select.
  18. I think he could be wrong. In the end we'll go with a defensive player.
  19. While I agree with your first pick and I think anyone that has been suggested on TBD has a case, I don't agree with your second round pick. If we can, I think I would go with Kenny Irons instead.
  20. It's optimistic, but realistic? It's possible but a lot has to happen. Our offensive line obvviously needs to demonstrate consistently that they can do their job throughout the game. As we know last year, I thought we had more problems getting the first down on third and short than almost any team in the NFL. Hopefully that will change because our defense took a step back because of the loss in the middle of the defense with London Fletcher. This is why I am leaning towards Wills or Paul P. in the draft.
  21. Although Crowell might have a game of experience at middle linebacker, I am not sure how we are going to pass up Patrick Willis or Paul P. in the draft considering our needs. A talk on TBD of a trade down in the draft is a good possibility.
  22. At left guard I thought he did a decent job. For the coaching staff to recognize that he could not do the job at left tackle was a credit to the coaching staff during the bye week. If he was brought back here for a backup guard role I think that could work.
  23. I think as of right now we are in the lower third. We could move up to the middle if we draft defensive players with our first two picks. This changes obviously if McGahee gets traded. As we know Okoye has the most potential, Willis is the safest and as of now our biggest need and Lynch is the wildcard.
  24. If McGahee stays I like your picks but the third rounder Tony Hunt I don't like. I saw a lot of his games last year and I was not impressed.
  25. Agreed. What is the problem? So what that we signed Tim Anderson to a one year deal? So he'll play a back up role. It's almost as people can't believe we resigned someone who hasn't played that well in his career. Marv and the organization are giving him another chance and I think if he keeps working hard there's no reason that he can't make a little contribution in a backup role and special teams. Until this team goes out on the field we can't criticize anything as of yet. Marv and the organization will figure it out.
