  1. The only thing I do not want to see is him getting cut at the end of camp. Then what would be the point of this signing? Competition?
  2. And I remember at the time Laywer Milloy was a good signing as well. Buffalo signed him almost right at the start of the season and beat New England in week one of that season.
  3. Well, it is fairly clear that 2009's draft has a lot of good players for us so far.
  4. You would think that this would be a good draft, except maybe get another linebacker or even another offensive lineman in round 3, maybe Sam Young or Jason Fox?
  5. I agree with you. We have a lot of positions to fill. If the quarterback that we want drops down to #9, which is highly unlikely, than maybe we'll get the quarterback we want there. Otherwise, I really could not see this trade happening.
  6. I have been saying that this is the guy that I would want the Bills to draft, even at #9 if Bradford is gone. I would be alright with Bulaga, but Iupati is my first choice.
  7. I highly doubt this will happen, I feel like Buffalo is going to give Edwards another chance to start unless we were able to land Bradford in the first round.
  8. I agree. I think a lot of people here would feel at peace with sports.
  9. I agree with your picks. 1B would probably be McClain and in round 2 if we do not trade down, I am still for Cody.
  10. Once again, I agree with you. It is a good plan to draft a nose tackle in round two or even to trade down from our #9 spot (for more picks) in round one to draft an offensive tackle and nose tackle in the first and second rounds (Cody or possibly Williams). The can rotate Kyle Williams in there or even Marcus Stroud with our new NT, whoever that maybe. As much as I would have like to get Vince Wilfork or Casey Hampton, it just didn't seem realistic when it came down to it.
  11. I would not take that bet that's for sure. I would agree with you.
  12. Because it gives us a chance to do something productive if we were the gm's and it gives us hope. That would be my guess.
  13. Because of the amount of talent in this draft, I would not be for this move. It seems clear Suh is going to be a star but to move up to #2 would be too much. With the talk to defensive lineman in this thread, if the Patriots do not sign Vince Wilfork, I would like the front office to make a big push for him so we do not have to focus on that position as much in the upcoming draft.
  14. I certainly agree that would be nice. The thing is, if both of the quarterbacks are gone by our pick then in seems like Bulaga is a solid pick. However, by switching the the 3-4, I would imagine that NT would be a high priority if we do not get a NT in free agency. Do you think it is possible that we will be making a big push for Vince Wolfork if he becomes available?
  15. I agree with you but obviously time will tell. When healthy, Bradford showed that he had what it took to be a good quarterback going into the next level. Is it that some are concerned that he is too injury prone? By the way, don't you think the Redskins will take him at #4 expecially if they don't resign Campbell?
  16. That interview was excellent. It hurts all die hards bills fans like us. I can't even imagine how some of the players and coaches feel from the Super Bowl 25 Buffalo team.
  17. Although there were some close predictions, I think overall, you might have been the closest.
  18. I thought it was a good superbowl, with a lot of good coaching going on and super playing by Brees and Manning except the interception. In my opinion last years was more exciting, but I did not think this years superbowl was boring.
  19. I am for taking Bradford and taking a chance, but we'll have to see what the front office has in mind. Again, drafting a left tackle is a good option depening on who we take (it is obviously a matter of opinion), but I am still for drafting Mike Iupoti.
  20. I am wondering, what would you have done in that situation as a head coach? It was 4th and 11 if I remember at the saints 34 yard line. Would you have punted the football or gone for it?
  21. I am all for this and would love for it to happen. I would go if that were the case, even if Buffalo was not in the super bowl.
  22. If you were rooting for the Colts, this game was painful because it felt as if the Colts were going to win a lot of the time in this game. Payton's coaching tonight was exceptional.
  23. I think many here including myself that he was going our franchise back. However, it is not over until it is over.
  24. I am convinced that these were the two best teams in the league this year overall. It seems like the majority like the Colts in this game, but I am prediciting a good offensive game with the Saints winning at the end by 6, 37-31.
  25. I agree John. The talent pool for this draft is pretty good overall. I would be fine with Bulaga, but I am still saying if possible and the Bills like him, draft Iupoti. Otherwise, I am all for drafting a guy like Bradford or McClain at #9.
