  1. Well, if this is true about demoting Andy L, maybe someone with more experience in football can explain this too me.
  2. I agree and Kyle was still making plays. The defensive tackle area seems to be solid and we have good depth at the position.
  3. Well I did go the game but it is a little late for a full game description. I think what a lot of posters have mentioned is correct. Merriman was outstanding and Dareus makes us better on the inside. The one position I think we actually do have depth at is defensive tackle and possibly throughout the defensive line. The special teams will get better, I am confident of this. While we may not be the best special teams team in the league, I think this area will improve overall as the season goes on. As for the offense, I really didn't see anything jump out at me throughout the game. The right side of the offensive line in my opinion really did not have the best game. Fortunately, Chan Gailey is a good offensive coach so maybe we can get some of these things straightened out so we can score some touchdowns. The trade of Lee Evans still does not make sense to me, but maybe the front office knows something that we don't. The preseason is for getting better and hopefully we continue to improve.
  4. I will be at Solider Field tonight and will be staying for most of the game. I will give everyone a thorough report on what I saw both positive and negative tonight. While I am not one of the fans in favor of the Lee Evans trade, I will watch the wide receivers tonight to see if they get separation from the DB's of the Bears and most of all if they can catch the football.
  5. I will be there tomorrow in section 440. Anyone else going to the game?
  6. I agree. Maybe Stephen Tulloch or Keith Bulluck.
  7. That's for sure. Maybe, just maybe we will land him.
  8. Well, we can now start talking about football again. Whitner seems like he does not want to be here anymore, so like some posters have said, if he gets the money he is looking for, good for him. He is a solid safety at stopping the run.
  9. Yes I would do this trade if it was available but change next years 3rd rounder to a 2nd rounder. But obviously, if we have a player that we want at 34 then draft the guy we want.
  10. I don't think that there is any question about that. If a team like the Redskins want Gabbert, then I think trading the #3 overall pick for the #10 pick, this year's 2nd round pick and next years 1st round pick is a good deal and the Bills should certainly consider that deal. Otherwise stay at #3.
  11. Well, if there is no season this year, what happens with next year's draft? Does it still go in the same draft order as this year? If so maybe we can move up to get Andrew Luck.
  12. If we do take Von Miller with the 3rd pick and there is a decent chance of the happening, the outside linebacker position will certainly have some nice depth. I'd still like to see us pick up an inside linebacker somewhere in the middle rounds of the draft.
  13. I have to ask, what made/drove you to get that tattoo?
  14. I'll take Chicago
  15. Offer our 6th and 7th round pick, I think for sure but Carolina would not do that for a 6th or 7th. If we were to give up a 4th round pick, I would do it but reality wise this is not going to happen.
  16. Question about the upcoming draft in your opinion. If we were to take Von Miller with our first round pick, do you think that we would cut Maybin?
  17. I would be suprised if we went this route but then again we have in the past. Maybe we are just keeping our options open to show other teams we could take him with our third overall and then maybe we'll trade back.
  18. If these were our first two picks I think that would work. I would think these would be two good picks. But if trade up to get a left or right tackle, especially Gabe Carimi that would be alright too.
  19. I am all for this. If we somehow trade back from the 3rd pick maybe we can pick him up later in the first round along with another defensive lineman.
  20. I would say wait until he gets cut. Otherwise, I would say no at this point because we already have Fitz.
  21. I remember that game as well. I think it was around Thanksgiving 1998. That was one of the biggest shocks of any game I have ever seen. While it was a shame the refs missed that pass out of bounds, the one called for pass interference in the back of the end zone on the last play of the game (hail mary) is something that is unconscionable.
  22. Agreed, this would be the biggest win the Buffalo Bills have has over the past decade or even more than that.
  23. Well, if we want him I would prefer not to take him at #3 overall. If we were to trade back to the mid first round, which is a risk, I would certainly consider taking him in the mid first round while picking up an extra late first or early 2nd round pick.
  24. That was an awesome segment. Great piece on arguably the best Bills season in history.
  25. This would be a very good deal for Buffalo.
