  1. Just remember to lop off 10 IQ points before walking into the track, To assist your favorite driver, try to get as close to the track and hold up a large sign that imprinted with "TURN LEFT" he will thank you for your efforts.

  5. Long Island, 7 1/2 hours away without stops
  6. I usually go to the game at least once or twice a year. The rest of the season we have the dish, watch the Bills game first and I will cook wings, and alternate the weeks with pizza breads, beef on weck, ribs, sahlens (usually after the week I went up for the game)or other attempts at culinary suicide. Others bring a variety of foods. The guys pretty much take over the den while the girls stay outside on the deck. After the Bills game, its a random game for the Fantasy freak in the group.
  7. I couldnt find the survivor pool, am I missing something?
  8. If he had a gold tooth, he could have gotten 80 bucks for his wood in South Carolina
  9. According to my neigbors, we will have power by the end of the day. Here are the pics from my perch during the storm
  10. I always park at Hammers when I am in for a game, unfortunately, I am afraid he will be getting filled up before I get there. My sister and her freinds always park there since they live in Buffalo, I just don't have the same pull they do.....
  11. One would have to assume that plastic toy soldiers and barbie dolls were the gateway items to his current condition
  12. Like posting on internet football boards?
  13. When I went to St. Joes, we were so-so with Canisius, I haven't followed it since moving away in 82.
  14. We are still without power, lost a good chunk of my Bills memorabilia, The signed Thurman, Kelly and Reed Jerseys were in cases as well as my signed 95 team ball (Bruce Paup NFL Defensive POY) plus other stuff, I had it all on high cabinets. Once the water level rose, it overturned the cabinets and dropped everything into the drink. We had chest high water in the room on the level where it was stored. At least we are all safe, just waiting for insurance adjusters and power.
  15. Our seasons are in the second row of the upper deck, around the 25 yard line, seats 3&4. I absolutely love the view, We were in the lower bowl for years, around the 25, but between the Van Miller wanna-be behind us who would provide a full blown amateur radio call on every play, and the fact that we were in the center of the row, we moved about 10 years ago. Upper deck gives you a full view of the game.
  16. I am getting spooked now, last week I had the pumps going for 12 hours, this one looks to be headed right for Long Island. I have already sandbagged around the entrance to the garage door.I am planning on leaving the cars at the train station and using my sons little car for final departure if the water gets too deep. I have 2 boats that are floating behind my house, the smaller one I could use to get out if the storm surge is 3-4 feet over the seawall. The bigger one will have to stay lashed to the floating dock and we will hope for the best. Tonight I will be lashing down the lawn furniture and the Kayaks. Insurance and valuable paperwork will go in the cars parked at the train station. Neighbors here who were around during the last big one in 1985 said the water was up about 5 feet on my walls in the garage.
  17. Now a new report that the coaches talked to Freddie and assure him he was the #1 running back.....when does the season start already?
  18. We are in lower Manhattan, our building was evacuated, felt the whole building sway....
  19. In Tebows case, other followers of the Broncos agree that he is probably not ready. Pryor may have a future, but maybe not at QB, as some have said maybe at TE if he could add some weight or at reciever.
  20. 2 xl please,
  21. Apparently they signed him according to this
  22. I think the Bills would be like Kevin Malone, slow, dimwitted, not too quick on the uptake Redskins = Andy Bernard, flashy ties, sucks anyway Eagles = Darryl Philbin, quietly goes about his business Packers = Jim Halpert, nobody can hate the small town guy Patriots* = Dwight Schrute, evil idiot Cowboys = Meredith Palmer, slutty, trampy, will do anything with anyone to get a win
  23. I could see some vollyball teams vying for his attention, but really, NFL teams??
