I called and started the dance last week, the woman wasn't offering anything since I keep the lowest package (family) and I said I think we have to cancel, but I will talk to the wife. I checked online and saw that I had been cancelled. Early this week they sent an email asking me to fill out a survey, I filled it out and in the free text area, explained that everyone is getting Sunday ticket free but me, sI also said that I was not satisfied by my customer rep and thanks but get the equipment out of here. I got the call last night, the woman explained since I was there since 1998, I would get it free, also the on-the go stuff was included (which I think is standard). I will check next week to see if I have the Max package or just regular (I just watch the Bills game anyway).

About a week later a card was sent to my office (I had given her my business card) and there was $27 and a note saying something like " Hope all is well, hope you made it home to you kids and wife ok". That was it never heard from her again, never even looked at the address.

I watched "102 minutes" last night, a compilation of amateur videographers accounts of the scene all in chronological order. Pretty powerful stuff, I saw people from the office, trading floor and the security guard from our elevator bank who perished.

Very low keyed here in lower manhattan. I did the same thing I do every year, traced my steps from the subway to the various spots I stopped and watched until the collapse, when I got to our building they handed us a commemorative coin (our conference rooms are named after two of the traders Pat O'Shea and Mark Montroni) We just had the moment of silence on the trading floors. Waiting to see the rest of the day unfold.....still sucks
