A few months ago I had a couple of messages that were left on the machine, same deal, except if I did not comply and call back immediately a "local magistrate" would be sent to my home to incarcerate me. I checked out the number and it was reported as a scam, I was kinda hoping he was going to call back so I could goof on him.

After 9/11 somehow the thing that I wrote here about my experience ended up in a classroom in Mississippi where Hull's son heard it. The kid ended up getting a copy of it and showed it to his father. Mid season that year I got a personal letter plus several signed cards and pictures from Kent Hull. The letter asked how I was doing and just general "Hope this season turns around" and "Hope NY is getting back to normal" kind of stuff, but I thought it was impressive for him to reach out like that to a fan.

Rick Jeanerette had 82 game seasons, so more exposure to the masses. I remember Van driving past our house in Kenmore in the 70's riding his little moped, with the old school helmet with the plastic bubble facemask on it. He would scoot up in the late afternoons for the 6 O'clock broadcast and then return after the show. He would toot the little horn if you waved since he knew my dad and our house. Get well Van!!

The NFL offices are across the street from our office on Park. The camera crews were there bright and early, all covering the Park Avenue entrance. Co-worker went out to watch and noticed the security guards and the cops chatting, then the security guards walked around to the back entrance on Lexington, 2 minutes llater the SUV rolled up and out popped Brady with his Jim Carey Dumb and Dumber haircut to sneak in the back door.
