  1. Assuming he brushes his teeth of course.
  2. Hey, where else but a bowling alley are you encouraged to drink beer, smoke, get loud, throw heavy objects indoors and try to knock things down? It's everything your parents said you couldn't do in one great place!! And I must admit, all the single tooth women that frequent the alleys are quite attractive, some even have thier own double wides....
  3. Once upon a time, the server had some issues and Scott was on vacation, in his absence, Jay Rosen was acting as backup, We generally don't like to criticize SDS since he is the creator. As the appointed lackey, Jay Rosen was the person responsible for letting SDS know that there were problems. Since there were several down spots while Jay was in charge the word C-r-a-s-h and Rosen are synonomous.
  4. Incredible!!!, What kind of idiot stabs a 3 year old??
  5. I am terrified of this game, not only do thier wideouts spook me, Im afraid that some of TKO's emotions may get in the way, and we may have some late stuff that extends drives. Our offense really has to control the game, we need to be able to grind it out and take the crowd out early. Afew weeks ago, the Bengals put up a ton against Cleveland (I know), but they can score, and they will feel comfortable at home looking to squeeze into the playoffs. This is a tough game, Im getting real tense about this one.
  6. I think the uproar is that people like to vacation nearby, and this guy is one of the cooks at the club med.
  7. They have a distinct advantage over regular instructors in that they have a captive audience for 5 days, two times each day, each person gets excercises that benefit them, and the instructor is able to build confidence slowly because he has such a long period of time. Best money spent for beginners to intermediates, and even I take away stuff that I will use in classes when I teach.
  8. Probably the finest teachers in North America are at Gray Rocks, the staff is level III and above, we have been there 6 times, sometimes with kids and sometimes without. Dpending on the exchange rate, it can be a relatively inexpensive vacation for the whole family, with a lot of great skiing.
  9. I played football until I realized that everyone else was bigger than 5'6" and I realized that was out, I enjoy golf, but on Long Island there is way too much waiting around to play 9 holes for 4 hours, it's just not worth taking that much time out of the day. Now my biggest sport is skiing, I am a professional ski instructor (I'm certified level II), Although I am in semi retirement as I havent been working at my resort (Mount Snow VT) in 5 years. I still maintain my cert level and hope to go back to teaching when the kids get older and less dependant. As Exhiled In Illinois stated, it's a great sport for families, It can get expensive, but what other sport can the whole family do together as a group? I find even when the kids go off in one direction and explore, my wife and I will take our daughter and go another way, we will meet up at the end of the day and swap stories. My sons 18 and 16 are still trying to finally topple the old man (44), but I still have an edge on the race course and on the all mountain tour. Although they may on occasion get to the bottom first, It's usually reckless behavior that gets em there.
  10. Hey you old coot, nice to see you back!!! We need all phases of the team to perform. Bengals are just like us, trying to make the playoffs and in search of respectability. I think it's really going to come down to who gets a good start, first quarter points are huge on the road, if we can get a 10 -14 point lead, we have plenty of swagger to put them away, I don't like our chances on the road if we are behind by 10 points.
  11. I got my copy yesterday, I just wish I could get it signed....damn!
  12. I agree, the money issue was forced upon Scott, We all made noise after several crashes during the spring and summer, and pretty much forced Scott's hand. He has done a great job, lost countless hours just to give some 4000 keyboard jockeys a place to rant. I recall he was in line at Disney and had to deal with calls about the server. This board is more stable than many corporate sponsored boards, and that service is free of pop ups and other annoying advertising. I applaud what Scott has done, and wish him well in dealing with all the crap that goes with maintaining this board.
  13. Alvin Wyatt, Cornerback from some bad teams, all I remember was he had the weirdest facemask ever in the NFL, It was a single bar that curved up in the front. Left and went to the WFL
  14. No, I'm going to the Steelers game, I have a family party this weekend home.
  15. Well, for you Mr Garcia, we will wave the Zweigels......
  16. Maybe if the women were to do a "Topless wave" whenever Cleveland has the ball we may be able to distract em. Thats really taking one for the team.
  17. I sincerely hope you are right, We need to come out of the tunnel pumped, take it to them right away, don't mess around like the Miami game, get the crowd into a frenzy and we can keep the streak alive!!
  18. I am definately interested, I have mine in the upper deck, and am looking for my nephew for his Christmas gift.
  19. I was out on a 7.50 stop order, loved it, pulled me back from a hole from earlier in the year, was in at 2.44 out at 7.50. Moved on to LBC to take the December dividend to pay the tax on the Sirius bump.
  20. Is this considered a tank now?, Down about 2 bucks off the opening, I just wanted to hang on until the new year so my short term gains roll to next years taxes.....damn
  21. I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a DLP (I like the lightweight and thin profile). Does anyone have any additional models/price ranges I should be looking at?
  22. Maybe it's like one of those third world democracys, you have to pay them to be in it, The President needs to be paid, the minions need to be compensated for putting thier thought processes on hold. Do as Rock says, send in your check!
  23. Well, Martha Stewart seemed to have that one worked out, check with her, maybe the order is somewhere on the guys desk.... Seriously, you could call the Compliance officer at the firm and ask for an accounting of the transaction (or lack). The problem is the amount of time between then and now. If you feel you were screwed, you should have bought the shares and then gone to arbitration with the broker for the difference in what you ordered and what you ultimately got them for. If it was called in, he has a tape of the conversation (most order desks do this, private clients may not) but if he took an order, he should have it, with a time stamp. If your conversation was more suggestion or speculation that you might be interested if it hit 3 bucks and no specifically delineated order was given, then he gets a free out. I used to work in compliance for one of the Exchanges, they actually can help if you give them enough information
