He isnt doing any brain surgery, but he has been relatively quiet since being in NY, a few mumblings about playing time, but spent the whole 2003 season practicing, but never suiting up because of an issue with Fassel. With Coughlin he was only used on 3 and short or 4th and short, in all cases, everyone knew he was getting the ball, give him the ball on 2nd and 8, see what he has.

I would bet we could get Ron Dayne relatively cheap, he is a power back, but as I recall, in college he looked pretty fast too. He was totally misused here in NY, I would love to give him a chance, he is like a car that sat in the garage, no mileage, no dents, ready to prove something...

I had read in some of the articles before and after the draft that he was too distracted by family members and freinds showing up at practices and events and he needed to kinda do it on his own. It had nothing to do with the coaches or the program, he just wanted to get away from the hangers on from the family. Or at least thats the stuff I read, coulda been just a BS story to make him more palatable to the NFL draft gurus.

At least he escaped alive, what about family members? do we know if anyone else got out alive? Makes you humble....

Garcia may be a good fit for this style of play, but he may still think he is a starter, and unwilling to backup.

Drew Bledsoe claims he didn't see it coming.... IMO, what Bledsoe didn't see was a revamped offense that would put more emphasis on a more agile QB (not necessarily mobile like Vick). If, as MM says, the offense will be adjusted, the adjustments will be with the QB coming in. With a QB like Losman, then even as a backup, Drew would be out of his element. It may be that the new offense will employ more rollouts and require more athleticism from the Qb position, and rely less on a standard, drop back passer. Losman affords us the possibility to be a drop back passer and also allows the offense to incorporate a more flexible, moving pocket. Due to the inconsistency of the O line, Losman may have a better chance of escaping when the pressure comes. We have seen time and time again that once the pressure is on, Bledsoe has tucked the ball and gone down. Losman has had a history of bad lines and being on the run through college. It is now up to Losman to take the step up to the pro game and become a leader at this level.

I think many, not all of us were happy when he caame to Buffalo, and the first 8 weeks we were rewarded with some pretty good football. The following 2 1/2 seasons were less than spectacular. Although I would have loved for him to stay on as a backup, I don't hate the guy for his tenure here, he was all we really had, we now start the JP era, and we will see what we have. Will it be another Todd Collins, or will it be the next coming of Kelly, only time will tell.

The test run seemed to go over OK with the design I had, nothing fancy, just TBD The Stadium Wall I did them in 3 different colors Black, Gray and Green, "TBD" was done in red, "The Stadium Wall" was done in blue. I preferred the black hat, although I I ended up with the green one. Pricing was high, but only because I did 12, if I did a larger order the price would go down considerably.

What a chicken shiite, Next week he will be going on and on about how Kelly wasnt half the man Simms was, and only a SB winning MVP deserves the HOF, yet in the same breath bends over for Fouts and his accomplishments, even though Fouts never even went to one (as a player), much less 4 in a row.
