Ummm, I need to have my kitchen painted....interested?

For a Jim Haslett or Jim Fassel, yes, I agree, but not any of the fodder that has been discussed so far.

Actually a good point, we may have difficulties getting quality assistants here now that everyone knows MM is on a one year tryout. If the bills have the same depressing season again, those assistants will be cleared out with MM. If I am an assistant and I know a coordinator or HC who has just signed on somewhere, why would I sign with Buffalo, knowing that I may only have a year before the staff gets broken up? Just a thought

Whatta douche! Just as bad as that lame lineman from a few weeks ago intentionally cutting the knees out after the play, That was BS! I give the guy 3 years in the NFL before his world crashes and he is sticking up liquor stores.

Yeah, but the girl singing it always gets a lump in her throat at the end.. -
Wantagh Long Island here, about 45 minutes to mid town Manhattan, although if the interview is on lower Broadway (I am down on 39 Broadway), going through Brooklyn it's a little more like an hour door to door. Home prices vary on the south shore although starting from 370K-425K can get you a simple 2-3 bedroom with some work to do. The schools vary from town to town, although they are generally solid school systems despite the publicity you may have seen about some of the corruption with the school boards. Nassau county has a very extensive park system and you are near several great beaches. As you see it the thread, the NYCBBB have already chirped in, they are a good group, and JetBlue is right out Kennedy to Buffalo goes around 49 each way if you book em in advance. Good luck on the interview!! Let us know how you did.

My brother-in-law works at the newstand in the Buffalo airport, he called earlier to say that Vince Lombardi had, in fact, walked right past him at the airport and said "Great day for a coaching change eh kid?" -

To Mularkey: Mike, can you describe your coaching philosophy and tell us how it relates to Marv Levy's body of coaching work. To Marv: After Mike has described his philosophy, are you prepared to continue with this as your head coach, or would you like to get back to us later on your selection? -
If we could pry Kubiak away from Denver, I would just love it. He could be an OC/Asst Head Coach. Possibly waiting in the wings should MM spritz the bed again.

Capers will be with the Giants shortly after they lose their DC. Capers and Coughlin go way back and still keep in touch according to the papers here in NY. I'd love to see Capers in Buffalo, but I thing he is going to rejoin Coughlin.

Mr. Wilson wants nothing more than to make this team better. He was in the box next to us at the game Sunday, and watching him pace up and down the stairs as the Bills struggled was something. We saw the same frustration that all Bills fans experience every Sunday. We got a chance to say hello at halftime, he really was a gentleman, but he was a Bills fan to the core. The good thing is, he can actually do something about it.

Similar reporting from Channel 7 : The center of Bills action today is in Detroit where Bills owner Ralph Wilson and his aides are putting together the new structure he talked about on Sunday after the team's season ending loss to the Jets. It looks like that structure does not include General Manager and President Tom Donahoe. Multiple sources tell 7News that Donahoe will be fired. Expect the official announcement on Wednesday. Donahoe had unprecedented authority in his five years with the Bills. He was the first man to act as president as well as general manger. Sources tell 7News Sports Director John Murphy that Ralph Wilson hopes to have everything in place by Wednesday and that he's looking to promote from within the organization.

Anyone going to the game Sunday?

Although I have said I would never set foot in that stadium during a Jets/Bills game ever again, I was able to score tickets from my brother-in-law, luxury box with open bar and buffet to drown my sorrows as the season is painfully put to rest. I plan on tailgating at C-16 and then wander in for the final chapter of this dismal season. Let us just hope that the embarrasment in the Meadowlands will propel TD out as GM, Gee, I wonder if I can carry a "Fire TD" sign here?? -
No Fried Bologna at the stadium=disaster of
Guffalo replied to taterhill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mark VI made reference to this same decision over a year ago. It troubles me to say there may be some merit in this argument. Overshadowing the Bldsoe trade, the Pat Williams non-signing, the recent draft antics, this one, singular decision seems to have caused the steep decline of the franchise. It was reported a few weeks ago that several fans were ejected from the stadium for holding up signs that said "We want our fried bologna sandwiches back". Under stadium guidlines, signs that are considered "offensive in nature or dangerous" cannot be displayed in the stadium. -
We can look forward to watching our kickoff receiving team strive for a new record "Most Kickoff returns, single season" We can look forward to drafting "best available athlete on the board" giving the two headed QB monster Kel-P Loscomb yet another small, but elusive target. We can look forward to drafting a running back in the mid rounds and after a strong camp and pre-season, keeping him inactive for 14 of 16 games. We can look forward to the masterfully designed, perfectly executed trick plays on 3rd and 7 that get us 3 yards. We can look forward to a PC environment at RWS, where all signs sing positive thoughts and bags are used for vomiting rather than as headgear. So stop being so negative Joe, there are plenty of positives to look forward to, stop being such a negative Nancy!
