  1. That place has changed ownership a few times but it still lives on (at least it was last summer). Food was decent the last few times we went in. A relatively new place in Ridgeway, Trackside or Trailside is a nice place for appetizers or dinner. Directly across from the Beer store. I am missing it already!
  2. This pretty much cancels our annual trip to the family cottage in Ridgeway ON. Will be the first time in 38 years I didn't spend at least one week up there. We are now looking anywhere from Maine to virginia along the coast, but also looking at lake areas like the finger lakes and Winnepesakee in NH as a possible place for a week. We are open to any ideas.
  3. Get a job at the golf course, or better yet, shoot in the 80s consistently.
  4. Very well done. A shame you had to step away, but understandable. Although you may drop the Seasons, you will always be a Bills fan. The birthday gift of tickets to a game is such an slam dunk if the kids are ever looking to get something special.
  5. Not me, although based on the picture from this guy, it just might, I have spent the last 5 weeks working from home and clearing out the fridge.
  6. Wow, that's almost criminal. It should map to your plate, I can't see how they can charge a late fee but you are within 60 days. Try to get a human on the phone.
  7. Congrats!! Get in a few thousand rounds of gold for all those days you were driving in and seeing an awesome 72 degree, sunny day and you are heading to work rather than the golf course. I hope that I can pull that off someday. I just haven't figured out when is enough, enough? No pensions, just 401K and IRAs. I still am barely under 60, so I still have time to figure it out. Although after commuting to NYC for 38 years, I really want to stop the commute, maybe go into a semi retired state if that exists.
  8. Elmwood and Hinman just South of Kenmore Ave. It is now a pawn shop.
  9. Our son lives in Bay area, Wife wants to go out for this one. A bit concerned about conflicts with Niner fans, especially with a night game. We have been looking at flights from NYC area, so far the flights look reasonable. What rates did you get for the group?

  11. I'm sure dad will still use his "#1 " hand signal for the fans!
  12. Skip trying to paint it, look for a wrap to cover the dings and scratches
  13. There was one on Sheridan Drive, Get me a Barnbuster!! (That wasn't a banana)
  14. Countdown to porcelain shattering projectiles
  15. The seats across the aisle from you were up for grabs when I was looking, I like sitting at row 32 just above you. Shorter run to the bathroom, and cant beat the aisle.
  16. I didn't see anything that impressed me. I used to love our old seats in 331, second row, on the aisle. Great view from up there.
  17. Wife's 60th birthday was this weekend, and we were supposed to go to Italy for 10 days, all cancelled. Still trying to figure out something special for her.
  18. Sorry to hear you lost one of your stones....
  19. Thats my biggest concern, the team that tanks for Lawrence will have a short trip to the basement followed by a long time in the penthouse. The kid is a generational talent that should be do quite well for a long time as long as the team who gets him builds a line around him. He can make guys around him look good.
  20. I would think a fan base that drinks from bowling balls and buttcracks would be relatively immune to the latest virus, but I'm not a doctor
  21. We lived in Kenmore so we would alternate between Pats , Teds and Louies at the foot of Sheridan. Louies is still there, still one of the best but for this poll, I picked Teds as best.
  22. We cancelled a trip to Italy for Mid April, still trying to get the airlines straightened out, we have a certain drop dead date to re-book of mid March, with travel by November (when we made the original reservation) otherwise we need to pay a rebooking fee of $150 per seat. Hotels were ok with cancellations, yet for some reason the trip to the Vatican is not refunding money right now. Our other side trips have been reasonable with refunds. We hope the Bills schedule gives us the SF game early in the season so we can use the flights for that trip.
  23. If you see the writers picture, it looks like he is writing for the High School newspaper and seems he is a bit jealous.
  24. I remember a similar thing. We pulled up and all got out of the car and as we headed for the gates I watched as my dad was looking back at the car and saw a guy placing bumper stickers on every car in the row. He stops and jogged (I never EVER saw him run) back and starts yelling at the guy telling him in no uncertain terms that he does not want a bumper sticker, nor does he want any Fantasy Island advertising anywhere near his car or kids (I guess dad didnt have the Fantasy Island account or something). I had never seen him get worked up over something so trivial.
  25. The young picture of Kaley does remind me of Julie Bowen from Modern Family (Claire Dunphy)
