Just had our first grandchild and we are very excited, but why do people ask "what is your new name?". I think Its the same one, I think its up to the kid to decide, what my "new name" is. I was originally named Kevin, but my brother insisted on calling me "guffin" and that's how I got my name.

Last week against the Ravens I had some heart pains/issues combined with chest tightening on Saturday watching the other games. Wife wanted to take me to ER, I said I was ok, but I was getting concerned. This week, I am feeling that "Calmness". I think this team, this QB, this season is leading us to this game for a reason (it may be to crush us) but I think it is to finally allow us to break through and finally have the team we need to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in Niagara square. The 90's Bills had something, but not quite what this crew has.

This game was a win-win for me, If the Jets do their normal meltdown, I get to hear the wailing of Jets fans about their team. If Houston loses, we are ahead of themI for a bit. I'm either going to listen to complaining of Jets fans (awesome) or hear them pontificate that this is the beginning of the new era, Either way, they will crash and burn, and I am happy.

Chapin SC. About 35 minutes from Columbia SC, We have a place that we bought 10 years ago, spent 2 nights and has been rented since. The deck overlooks the first hole of a very nice golf course. Also sits on a large lake with slips for your boat. The tenant is getting on in years and when she is done, we will make it our winter home. Rarely does it get cold enough to even see snow, weather in winter is between around 40s to 60s and 70s. The plan is to spend some time in the place and see if it suits us, or do we want to move towards the other side of the lake into condos in Lexington.
