  1. I played Hilton after I researched and saw the guards that were out haven't made much difference to the Colts and that Hilton caught a lot of short passes last week and tacked on YAC. Yeah, with Jackson and Harvin dinged, I felt comfortable with my decision to start Hilton. (And now that he has played, yeah, I guess I'm okay with it....) This way, if it seems like either one of those guys is not really 100%, I can sit them. But at the same time I say that, I keep thinking I should sit Benjamin. With DeAngelo Williams out, and Greg Olson hurt, should I shy away from KB because the defense can more easily focus on him, or is that offset by the offense also needing to focus on him?
  2. I hadn't seen anyone mention it in the post-game threads, but Sammy took a shot in the Lions game that I thought would cause him to clutch his ribs and wince, but there was no negative reaction, he just popped up. I thought to myself he had turned the corner, where it would take a new exceptional blow to hurt him.
  3. With this news, I'm thinking of benching TY Hilton. Given his forte is the long ball, I don't know how much time Luck will have to pass. Thoughts? http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/playernews Thanks for the responses so far. I really can see an argument for benching any of these guys.
  4. I landed Andre Williams on the waiver wire, so I'm starting him (and Lynch). This leaves me conflicted who to play for my 2 WRs and flex positions in my .5 PPR league. Who do I not play? * Percy Harvin (vs. Dallas) <-- I think they'll work to get him his TD this week *T.Y. Hilton (@ Houston) <-- 12 targets last week * Kelvin Benjamin (@ CIN) <-- 11 targets last week * Fred Jackson (vs. New England) <-- he's been getting ~100 yards the last 3 weeks... Also, I have Reggie Bush, who I've ruled out. Thanks -Matt
  5. I have no problem that we made the trade, but seeing how Benjamin has performed, I'd rather have him plus the picks we sacrificed to move up. So yes, with the benefit of hindsight I wouldn't have done it. But, that doesn't mean I think the Bills screwed up, or regret what they did.
  6. The word I keep thinking of is proud. When I watch Fred, I'm regularly proud of him. Go Fred; go Bills!
  7. I see your rationale and think it makes sense to consider a move like that. But, you're clearly getting the worst of the trade. I'd see if there is anything else you can add to even it out. (Draft pick from next year?)
  8. I was sure when I came to the board there would be a topic title that just happened to get cut off, some thing like: New Sexual Assault Charge - suspension may well be on the way for C.J. Spill
  9. I think you mean DT Landon Cohen. No, there's no chance of them bringing him back for this week; none at all. I think it would only be a possibility if a couple players went to IR, and then it would still take awhile for him to be ready to play, I'd think. I see no news for him since he was cut. For all we know he has been stoned 24/7 since getting out of the NFL and has gained 30 pounds. . . .
  10. For a single game, under the circumstances we just saw, sure I would. Long term, no way would I want DeAngelo on my team!
  11. But likely only because Williams got hurt at the start of the 2nd quarter when the game was tied.
  12. Fantastic! Winfield was great. If he had above average hands for catching INTs, he'd be a sure Hall of Famer in my opinion.
  13. I like Jeffery best, then Brown. I assume that's a half point per reception...
  14. Stewart is confirmed out for the Panthers, strengthening the argument for Williams.
  15. Foster is active, so I agree with your picks.
  16. That's blowing my mind. How can the other 7 teams all win!? Ditto. The hardest one for me to call is Pats @ Chiefs, but I give it to the home team playing in Arrowhead.
  17. Amen, brother. Eli looked good enough that I'm considering holding onto him as a back-up until he appears to fall apart.
  18. With McCown out for TB, and Rainey showing enough productivity to get a sizable portion of the carries, I'd be worried about Martin. He's on the road with a leg injury, but so is Williams. With Tolbert and Stewart (likely) out for the Panthers, Williams should get a greater percentage of the carries than Martin. Also, given the the QB situation and the team's records, it seems much more likely the Panthers will be playing with a lead and not abandoning the run to catch up, versus the Bucs. Rainey also seems to be more a part of the TB passing game if they are trying that approach. http://www.sbnation.com/fantasy/2014/9/25/6847433/deangelo-williams-injury-fantasy-football-panthers-running-backs
  19. I like Williams better, for sure.
  20. The Bills are really racking up injured opponents so far this year. Marshall and Jeffery are still trying to get healthy.
  21. I have Peyton Manning, who is off this week, and am targeting his brother. The more I look, the more I like Eli in week 4 ahead of Fitzgibbons, Tennehill, Geno, etc..
  22. I concur with everyone else. I have the Panthers, but am still considering dropping someone for San Diego this week.
  23. Holy crap. Don't cross Canadian Bills Fan! . . . I mean, if that's okay to say about you.
